Has it happened to anyone on here? Is it possible?

Possible but not advisable I mean I've seen it happen IRL it was a fraught time for them

My school friends Mum was 48/49 very much a surprise back on 70s. Her other child was 20.

Extremely unlikely and not to be advised. Not a good situation, especially for the child.

Getting pregnant? Yes, definitely possible. However there is an over 50% chance of miscarriage and a high chance of abnormalities in the few that make it so chances of a live, healthy birth is very slim. Not impossible, but slim.

My granny had my uncle when she was 47/48 and he was completely healthy so yes it is possible. Her other children were teens or young adults by then. I do believe they were in a minority though and it's not recommended

I was told off by my GP for not bothering with contraception from age 51 as I still had periods. My reading of the statistics was that there was a 1% chance of pregnancy at that age (ie the same risks for a younger woman using the pill correctly) and it would be incredibly unlikely to result in a live birth.

Impossible? No. But in no way something to build anything on.
