Hey @LeeanneD11 not personally but yes 2 friends currently pregnant with zero sickness / nausea and one also said normal energy levels. Both well into their second trimester now. I think it’s more sudden loss of symptoms rather than not having them at all which may indicate something up, although again not for everyone. You had a scan at all yet? Wishing you all the best for your scan! x

I had a scan roughly 2 & weeks ago and heartbeat detected . But they have just disappeared I had cravings for fizzy but that's gone now . I thought I would of had something but nothing at all . It is concerning a little . But midwife said it can happen to most people but I guess I'll know next week I do have a cyst too tho so maybe that could be to do with something I'm not sure. ,anxiety levels aren't helping at all xx

Runnergirl1 · 11/05/2023 17:50

@LeeanneD11 I’ve had my 12 week scan and all was ok. I’ve had no symptoms either and felt the same as you worried it had all ended before it began so try not to worry (although easier said than done) x

Thank you I hate it so much , I just need next week to hurry up so it eases my anxiety xx

@FfoxRedN apparently they don't do the NT in the north of Ireland, when I just arrived home I got a call to say could I come in this afternoon for consultant appointment so was able to ask more then. Apparently they don't offer it here as there was no option of termination so it was pointless telling people early on if issues and they couldn't do anything about it. They only offer the quadruple test which I'm getting in 2 weeks.

FfoxRedN · 11/05/2023 18:12

@38andtrying Oh ok that makes sense 😊. Thanks for clarifying, I'm in England so assume they still do the NT. So glad your 12 week scan went well 🥰 xx

medicmumma · 11/05/2023 18:39

i lost my symptoms last week and also had a scan towards the end and everything was fine - I think it’s just because I’ve just come into my 2nd trimester so everything’s eased

Chellooo · 11/05/2023 19:20

@3838andtrying oh that's really interesting! I asked about any sort of testing at my booking Apt and was told by the (quite unhelpful) midwife there was nothing?!

LeeanneD11 · 11/05/2023 19:45

So very confusing this is 3rd baby but I'm pretty sure I felt baby twice pressing against my side maybe head or legs lol I am 11 weeks is this possible? Or am I dreaming as my hand was on my stomach xx

FfoxRedN · 11/05/2023 20:04

@LeeanneD11 I'd be very surprised that early. Sounds more like your uterus stretching than the baby, they normally say 16 weeks at the earliest. A nice thought though 🥰

Ok haha . It felt weird tbh but didn't know when you feel them with 3rd pregnancy. Thank you I must be dreaming lol 😂😂 xx

Great to hear more happy scan updates!

Is anyone else moody at the moment?
I am short tempered and getting extremely annoyed at things that I can usually handle. I'm having to keep my mouth shut in work so I'm not too snappy.

Happy Birthday Party GIF by Chubbiverse

I am so frustrated right now. I have suffered with chronic severe headaches, frequent migraines and POTs symptoms for a number of years. I was on both daily medication and additional medication for acute attacks prior to pregnancy. I was able to stop them all once TTC as it had all seemed to ease off and I could 'manage' (put up with it because it wasn't debilitating anymore). Unfortunately about 6 weeks ago I got covid and since then all the problems have come back with a vengeance, tried to get a gp apt/call/advice this morning and just got told sorry they are fully booked. I genuinely don't know what to do, I just feel so horrible, my vision is blurry (thanks migraine), I'm dizzy etc etc etc. Urgh I give up.

Also I know my BP is fine, I already checked it so its not that.

JD90 · 12/05/2023 09:09

How the hell I managed to add a happy birthday gif to that I do not know, my functional skills right now are pretty shot 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

spanglesj · 12/05/2023 18:34

Hi @JD90 funny you say that. Friend of mine’s partner got covid early this yr and his vision went blurry., balance off too. Other similar symptoms. He thought he had something wrong with him. I don’t know exactly how long it lasted but I saw her this wk and she said he is fine now. Covid does some strange things but hopefully that will be encouraging that it hopefully won’t last. Xx

spanglesj · 12/05/2023 18:36

@JD90 to add, does your Gp have a call back function on the day for priorities? Given you are pregnant I’d personally just ask for that, or you could also try your midwife. It’s prob from covid but I think you are right to get it checked. GP surgery’s are so hard to get appts with at the moment you have my sympathy!

spanglesj · 12/05/2023 18:37

@Thack yes very mardy and cry so easily too !! It’s a rollercoaster of hormones isn’t it!

JD90 · 12/05/2023 19:30

@spanglesj yeah I've had covid 5 times now (one of the perks of nursing and a terrible immune system) I've got long covid and each time my hangover of symptoms has got slightly worse and lasted longer. I'm hopeful will eventually go away but I suspect it's going to take at least 6 months until it settles. Some of it will never go away but I've had chronic headaches and migraines since I was a kid. It's just the limited medication side of it. Unfortunately I'll just have to try again with the gp on Monday, I'm going to ring the midwife on Monday if I can't get hold of a Dr.

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 12/05/2023 19:41

@JD90 oh my goodness 5 times! Hope you manage to speak to them Monday x

LilmissCa · 12/05/2023 20:14

Had my 12wk scan.. measuring on track at 12wk 4days & all good so far.
Thought I'd a bad sinus infection kick in yday but not being able to smell my toddlers dirty nappy just prompted me to do a covid test & positive. Feel shitty. And toddler is sick, double ear infection & throat, have (prob not successfully) tried to test her but negative.
Any covid tips .. paracetamol is not cutting it!

LeeanneD11 · 12/05/2023 22:15

Is it common to be so itchy behind the knees , its constantly itchy and goes red and burning sensation too. What it could be? Only noticed yesterday. I do a lot of walking tho could that be the reason?

Also another question does anyone else get pressure at the top of buttox (bum) 😂 every time I walk long periods I get this pressure and I struggle to walk after . I have to stop for 10 mins cause It's terrible 😞 im only around 11+ xx

Psqueak87 · 13/05/2023 00:13

Has anyone had bleeding at 15 weeks? There wasn’t much but it was bright red. I hadn’t had any up until this point. I read online that I only need to call a dr if it’s enough to fill a pad. But I’m worried as this hasn’t happened up until today. There was maybe 3-5 drops, quite large drops. But nowhere near pad filling. For now it seems to have stopped but I do feel a full pain in the area I assume the baby is located…

Psqueak87 · 13/05/2023 00:13

A **dull pain that should say…

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 13/05/2023 07:51

@Psqueak87 I had quite heavy bleeding at 20 weeks. I had cervical ectophy. Womb cells growing outside cervix it wasn't coming from the baby at all. Couldn't potentially be that, the bleeding was bright red and a bit clotty. When I called the maternity number they asked me if it was more than the size of a 50p peice and I went in they checked it was that and then I had some treatment I was home after 4 hours x
