@38andtrying I’m 13+3, all symptoms other than tiredness have gone. Thank god because between weeks 6-9 I was nauseous all the time, and then between 9-12 I was constantly throwing up, lost 8% of my body weight, was miserable.
pretty much 12+1 my sickness lifted and I’m now able to eat like a normal person, the weight is piling back on as I crave anything between bread. Specifically baguette bread, currently scoffing baguettes at a rate of one baguette per two days, lol.
energy came back somewhat, I’ve gone back to my personal training sessions and managed a 10km hike the other day. So it’s a really good feeling. There’s a bit of paranoia that it all went away so suddenly, but after feeling that awful I promised myself I wouldn’t waste the good days worrying.
had my 12 week scan about 10 days ago but baby wasn’t cooperating so I have another one tomorrow. Hopefully won’t be too late for the necessary measurements as I know the cut off is like 13+5 or something, and I’ll be 13+3 tomorrow and baby was measuring ahead last time.
finally told work after being really late one day as I had to pull over so many times to be sick. Everyone was so supportive and lovely, and they’re really making sure that I’m ok, and that I might need pee breaks more often, lol.
my parents are landing in Canada to visit me in 12 days and I will be telling them then. They have no idea we’ve even been trying (for 8 long years) and this’ll be their only grandchild so I’m really looking forward to it!
so sorry to anyone who’s had bad news over the past week.
