6 week scare - small g sac, loss symptoms and brown discharge

Im hoping someone can give me some advice or success stories. I am 32 years old and 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow (this is my first pregnancy), I had a private early scan yesterday and they could see the g sac and y sac but said the g sac was only 3.8mm so asked for me yo come back in 2 weeks for a re scan. But looking on Google this seems very small!
I had very sore boobs but this stopped around 3 days ago and started having brown discharge yesterday. Very little and currently only when wipe.
All of this together I am thinking the worse.
Any advice or similar experience would really help a very anxious me.

Sac is small too but no sign of a fetal pole yet . And going by my dates I should be 6 weeks , I'm back again Wednesday to check everything is going well . Do you think your measuring small? Xx

Yes from google you should be 12mm ish at 6 weeks so mine is a lot smaller!
Have you got any other symptoms?

Just very sensitive boobs , nothing Else but didnt experience these in my previous pregnancies. Do you have any symptoms. When was you meant to be due on ? When did you get your first positive test xx

@Emilyj13 my sac was measuring small too but it was in the right place and
Was increasing xx

I had sensitive boobs but they stopped about 3 days ago.
I was supposed to be on 22nd March, positive test 24th March.

@Emilyj13 I found out on Mother's Day my period was meant to be 13th March . It's just so confusing isn't it xx

@Emilyj13 if your worried would they see you sooner ? I have scan every week as they want to make sure they can see something or at least a heartbeat , xx

This was private and they said they wouldn’t see any sooner than 2 weeks and when I rang midwife this morning they said they wouldn’t see me until 8 weeks. Are you going privately or NHS?

@Emilyj13 mine is NHS , but I've got a cyst as as well and can cause a miscarriage at anytime so I'm being monitored but I've got a another scan on 25th April cause they think should be 12 weeks but defo not lol I'm not sure how far gone should be between 6-7 weeks I think but maybe I ovulated late xx

What type of cyst? The private scan also said I had a fluid cyst on one ovary but she said it may not show by the next scan so do you think I should speak to NHS tomorrow and tell them what the private scan said? The dates are so confusing arnt they!! I thought I was a week ahead but then went through all my dates yesterday and came back to a week earlier

@Emilyj13 did they say how big it was ? Mine been there each time I've been for a scan mine has Being me pain . But didn't say what cyst it was but mine is filled with fluid too . I'm confused my dates lol . I should be 6-7 weeks but scan saying 5 plus weeks . I would call nhs and mention about the cyst xx

The notes says 48.8 x 37.8 x 35.1.
I didn’t really think much of it as she didn’t seem concerned.
yes I thought I was 7 weeks and she said it was more likely 5 which I don’t agree with. But lots of Google says if you scan too early sometimes it’s not accurate so I really am hoping that’s the case for me. I am absolutely petrified that it’s going to end in miscarriage though :(

@Emilyj13 my cyst was 8cm which is a concern . That's why I'm having scans weekly for now till they see something but I was told it could stay there or go down but if doesn't go down during the pregnancy I'll have a c section and removal of cyst too . I would Google that measurement for your cyst and see how big your is xx

Okay. The first measurement is 4.88cm.
I think I will ring nhs doctors tomorrow and see if I can speak to a doctor but I do feel until your further along they don’t want to help you which I understand as a lot is probably just anxiety worry but it’s frustrating!

@Emilyj13 yeah defo call them , and see what they say mine causes me pain that's why I was seen so quick and then that's when they found it xx

Hi, I wanted to share my experience with you but wanted to warn those reading this that my experience may be upsetting to others before continuing.

in January 2020, like you I had a private scan to determine the date of my first pregnancy (6-8 weeks by my estimation) I was told that although the sac had grown a baby could not be detected. I was sent to my designated hospital's early pregnancy unit for a follow up scan on the same day - the private clinic contacted them and arranged an appointment for me. Again they could not detect any signs of a growing baby, I was sent home with an appointment for a follow up scan a week later. I was reassured that it was possible my dates may not have been accurate hence why things weren't showing as I thought they should have been. Sadly when I went for my follow up scan there had been no change and it was confirmed that although the sac had continued to grow, my baby had stopped growing - known as a blighted ovum. It took me a while to come to terms with this and it made me feel as though my body had failed me however I now have a health and strong willed almost 2 year old!! Ladies please trust your instincts and push for a professional to check you over. Dr Google is your worst enemy when you are worried as all the things you read will only make you feel worse. They finally found baby , 7 weeks tomorrow basically my cyst is pushing everything to one side that's why they couldn't see anything for 2 weeks hope your ok xx

Wow!! What great news. Congratulations, I’m very happy for you!!
I spoke to my doctors and they weren’t really interested as too early so just going to wait for my next scan on 23rd and I will be 7 1/2 weeks at that point so hopefully something very similar to you!

@Emilyj13 I said to the lady is that why they couldn't see anything cause of my cyst and she said yeah . I've got my fingers crossed for you please keep me updated . Xx

Hi,
im not good. Started having bad cramps last night and had some blood so think it’s the start of a miscarriage :(
my scan isn’t until next Sunday so I guess I just need to wait but think after everything else that I’ve felt and now this is kinda makes sense.
im heartbroken
