@Happyhappy39soon40 it's done now! Just share and enjoy their excitement!

I am just 5w+4d but since yesterday when laying down I am not flat anymore below the stomach. Is it because I drink too much water? When a difference on the body should be seen?

True.

It could be bloating. Some days I am very bloated.

LaVitesse2022 · 02/03/2023 23:13

@Bee1994 oh how exciting, twins! Congrats 🎉

@LWestYorks great to hear your scan went well, it's such a relief isn't it!

After a week of feeling queasy, my nausea has disappeared and I'm now back to feeling ravenous. Is anyone thirsty all the time?! I'm usually never thirsty in winter and that was one of the first signs of pregnancy for me.

I've just bought my ticket to the ExCel baby show this weekend, anyone else planning to go? :)

blebbleb · 02/03/2023 23:14

@Alexandra07 I'm 6 plus 4 and suffering from terrible bloating. It's a good job I have lots of floaty dresses as I look 6 months pregnant already. I recall in the last pregnancy it went away in the second trimester but then you get a bump anyway. It's even worse this time around for me!

Hankthehonk · 02/03/2023 23:17

@@Bee1994 Wow congrats on the twins! And @LWestYorks congrats on your positive scan.
I'm glad to see others posting about bloating, I've been a bit worried about it the past couple of days (it's hard not to worry about everything at this stage). My stomach looks bloated and feels heavy and tender but it's not digestive and it's not sore. Looks like it did at 10 weeks ib my first pregnancy but I'm only max 6w3!

mariamari · 03/03/2023 04:19

@VictoriaBlossom I connected with a woman locally that my friends have also worked with.

I really want to receive that grounding support during one of life’s biggest transitions & many friends who didn’t have reflected saying they wish they had a doula.

Where do you live? I can recommend an incredible doula in SW.

AlongcameLainey · 03/03/2023 05:18

Completely with you all with the exhaustion. I get my 2 y/o DD to bed at 7pm then it’s straight in the shower and asleep by 8.30pm for me. My husband thinks it’s hilarious!

firstlittlefrazzleontheway · 03/03/2023 06:49

My nausea has really ramped up this week. I'm 7+4 and Today I've started actually vomiting. Need to get up and get ready for work and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to function (I work in community so it may end up being a carrier bag in the car🤦‍♀️)

On a more positive note I have my booking in appointment this morning at 1040am☺️

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 07:05

@mariamari Northamptonshire 😢 miles away.
I've joined Nikita Starcks group and will probably buy when push come to shove to get a better understanding.

LWestYorks · 03/03/2023 07:18

Morning ladies! Does anyone really struggle when they eat a big meal or something ‘stodgy’? I got a Pizza Hut last night for tea, ate about 5 slices (yes 5!!! 🤣🙈) and I’ve been up all night feeling sick, like my belly was just so uncomfortable and even now it feels a bit not normal? I guess I can’t really explain 🤣 maybe just wondering if it’s the stodginess and large amount of pizza I ate last night that my stomach can’t cope with…..

adayatatime23 · 03/03/2023 07:22

@Bee1994 I actually stopped looking at this thread when I found out I’m also having twins (at private 8 week scan last thurs) I was so bloody shell shocked I couldn’t cope with all the singleton scan photos hahaha. Lovely to see you are in the same boat! We got this 😅

Hopefulx · 03/03/2023 07:28

@firstlittlefrazzleontheway good luck with your scan this morning! Keep us updated 🫶🏼

I have also got an early scan today at 4.30pm - I am bricking it as I felt really sick last week and the last few days I feel like other than needing to wee a lot, all of my symptoms are gone. I also had a dream last night that I went to the scan and there was no heart beat so it must be really playing on my mind, hopefully it’s just in my head and everything will be ok 🤞🏽

Koalawhala · 03/03/2023 07:48

I’m considering a doula this time too @VictoriaBlossom and @mariamari. I will likely be having a c section this time after 2 vg births and am really keen for postnatal doula care to help my recovery this time

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 07:51

@Koalawhala if you check out the website whenpushcomestoshove there's a map of them but my closest ones 18 miles away and didn't reply to my message when I sent it

Koalawhala · 03/03/2023 07:53

@VictoriaBlossom thanks I’ll check that out :)

katherine123x · 03/03/2023 08:10

@Hopefulx I'm sure it's just where you are worrying!! Can't wait to hear all about it. Good luck 💕

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 08:24

Keep us posted @Hopefulx xx

FirstTimeMamaB · 03/03/2023 08:27

@hopefulx hope today goes well for you lovely, sending you all the good vibes for a healthy baby!🙏🏻💕

Koalawhala · 03/03/2023 08:48

Hope all goes well this afternoon @Hopefulx x

SnookyPook · 03/03/2023 08:55

Hope you have a lovely scan experience @Hopefulx !

LaVitesse2022 · 03/03/2023 09:02

Good luck for the scan today @Hopefulx 🍀

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 10:08

Anyone else still got basically no symptoms? 6 ish weeks today. No sickness or food aversions, last time I was so sick by 6 weeks 😭😭😭

NSx · 03/03/2023 10:11

@EMcG3 yes I was in and out of that thread a bit but it definitely makes you feel less alone knowing you’re not the only one who has went through that.
Here’s hoping for 2 healthy rainbow babies ✨ 🌈

@Jealousofchiliheeler yes you are in great hands so don’t worry 😊💜

blebbleb · 03/03/2023 10:13

@VictoriaBlossom my symptoms have only started within the last few days, I'm 6 + 5.

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 10:15

@blebbleb it's so nerve wracking. Never had a baby before but the heartbreak we faced after the mmc just worries me. Sooner I get that scan and see a flashing heartbeat the sooner I'll chill out!

blebbleb · 03/03/2023 10:20

@VictoriaBlossom I had a mmc in December too so I know what you mean ❤️ my symptoms just stopped one day around 8 weeks. My symptoms have come on a lot more slowly this time round. But each pregnancy is different I guess. Some friends felt completely fine! It's so stressful though especially if you've had a loss x
