Currently 6+2 think due 23rd October #2
No major symptoms apart from tonight I have extreme restless leg syndrome and insomnia 🙈 xx

Update :-

I am currently still bleeding ( various colours). Only when I wipe. Sometimes I lot more than others. Had a tiny bit of clotting once Sunday and once yesterday.

Went to epu yesterday. The scan showed. Early pregnancy seen with fetal pole but no heartbeat. Measuring 5-6 wks rather 7weeks..

They prescribed me progesterone twice daily. ( haven't a clue what that does) and booked me for another scan next Thursday.

I am not hopeful. Don't really feel preggo.

Lmp was 17/01. I don't track ovulation but I usually get ovulation pain. Didn't get any in Jan.

Just spent half an hour crying over something silly DH said. Hormones are crazy!!

@MrsL22 @lighthousechristmas I've had consultant appointments in both previous pregnancies (for different reasons) and they were always really reassuring and nice.

@Alexandra07 to be honest I didn't ask exactly what it was - she said that was my only risk factor (I'm 37 but only just, so she didn't count that one) - so I'm down as "a low, high risk" 😂 apparently! It's down as both extra appointments and scans to start with, but she said if they're happy they can palpate baby during midwife appts they won't bother with the scans as they can just measure bump from 28w instead. It's just because the extra weight can make it harder for them to estimate size, so they measure on a scan instead.l

@Happyhappy39soon40 sorry to hear you're still having bleeding, hopefully it's just that you ovulated late so your dates are a bit out and 5-6 weeks is accurate ❤️

Had my booking in appointment today at 7+6. Feels real now 🫣 urine sample was clear, and I'm having bloods at my 12 week scan. I forgot to ask how when/how the 12 week scan will be booked though... I assume we just get a letter with a date?

Has anybody noticed a higher than usual heart rate? My resting heart rate is usually 54-60 bpm. Tonight I feel dizzy & nauseous & just checked my HR & it is 78/82 bpm.. it’s likely normal, but omg fretting over every damn bloody thing right now 😩

@Happyhappy39soon40 sorry to hear things are still a bit up in the air. Really hope it's good news next week.

@Mldn pretty sure increased heart rate is a normal pregnancy thing!

I had my booking appointment over the phone yesterday, the midwife was lovely. I'm getting bloods done tomorrow, because I've got low iron and am sometimes anaemic, I've needed strong iron prescribed at various points before including my last pregnancy.
Got my private scan on Sunday too. Feels like it's all happening this week!
I've caught a cold from my toddler which usually I'd just ignore but it's hit me like a ton of bricks. Had to reschedule a work meeting to sleep (thank goodness for working from home) but work is too busy to be off sick and my colleagues don't know I'm pregnant yet. I might tell work next week if everything is OK at the private scan, I'm finding it stressful lying and not having support when I'm struggling.

@Mldn absolutely. My watch keeps telling me too!!

@Mldn after looking mine seems to have come back down the last few days!! Which obviously now I'm worried about!! Dropped by 10pm!

@katherine123x oh bless you! Mine seems to only rise when I’m having dizzy spells. It’s a rough old ride! I googled, of course, and freaked myself out that it shouldn’t rise by this much until later trimester! I’m only 5+3 & freaking out over everything! Hope you’re pregnancy is going well x

@SillyOldBear3 I was told I'd get a letter in the post with the date/time of first scan appointment, and to email a local address if I don't get one by the time I hit 11 weeks.

We're actually off for an overseas holiday tomorrow! I'm nine weeks today and no idea how it will go, but really looking forward to the distraction from my lack of control over all this!

@Mldn thank you! You too! It's so hard to not focus on every little thing. Roll on 12 weeks. I feel like I might actually breathe then!

Nooo! They’ve forgotten to call me for my booking appointment. I called them and they’ve rescheduled for next Wednesday! Argh! I’m too impatient for all this waiting lol. But they did say that once I’ve had it the scan date should come through quite quickly 😬

Thanks for all of the support everyone, scan went well. Measuring 10 weeks, heart beat was seen and baby was waving an arm!

I had my final scan with the EPU today and we finally got to see little bibs heart beat ❤️

After having covid at 4 weeks and then spotting on / off since Saturday. Good news here too 💛
Baby measuring 7 weeks (only 2 days less than I thought) with a good heartbeat aswell xx
