They've checked me over ,baby is head down still and they will go straight into break waters so hopefully, this will set off a quick labour like 2x of the dc before..., then if not the balloon method.
Still waiting on a room on delivery at mo.

I woke up this morning with a jolt and a small amout of water coming out of me. Not a gush. I dont know if that was water. Went to pee half an hour later and after pee had finished the liquid sort of continued, it wasnt pee at this point. I put on fresh knickers and pad and back to bed.

Woke up several hours later feeling a tiny 'pool' of water went to pee and wiped first and noticed white colour water on tissue and hands.

I put a thrush pessary in last night. A few BH contractions, can feel baby movemenrs but no real contravtions (I dont think). Anyone have any idea whether its waters or general leak/discharge. Bar contractions anything else I should look out for?

@Choc2022 you should call triage so they can test if it is your waters. They might need to induce you if it is your waters and you don't go into labour in the next 24 hours

So frustrating, Im going up at 7pm now as I had my claxaine jab this am as.norm...., Literally no one told me not to take it!!!!🤦‍♀️

Think I may have to throw my phone out the window the next time someone texts/calls to ask if baby is here yet

@Rainbowbaby23 I've only had 2 messages asking so far but with another week till due date it's going to drag if keep getting asked 😆

@cats23 that is annoying that nobody told you, not too long to go now so hopefully time passes quickly for you xx

@AK93 im not actually due until tuesday but i have messages multiples times a day from the same people, one of them being my mum (birth partner) like if i was in labour then you would know🙃

Haha, my I've set up a WhatsApp group for my friends and family (seperate ones) and I've said when there's news I'll tell you! Due date 21st. Always been convinced I'll be early. Yesterday more pelvic pain than experienced and today did my usual parkrun and feeling more cramps so I'm beginning to think something might happen this week which as a FTM is scaring me a bit!!!!

Patience is gone haha!
They said 7pm..., its now 7.15pm....
I've resigned to the fact I will be here for a good year and still pregnant...

I'm 40+2 and I honestly never thought about going over, I was so focused on reaching 37 weeks full term, and then making it till the start of my maternity leave, etc but never thought about the waiting game!!!

I hope to finally get an induction date on Monday, as have that 4 day window is just not specific enough.
Glad I know latest on 19th we will go to the hospital to be induced, but I really hope they will have some availability on 16th instead 🤞

My baby was being crazy this evening - I swear she was scratching my cervix with her fingers because that definitely doesn’t feel like her head! That went on for about 10 mins which made me feel sick, and then she started kicking and bumming around for another 15 😭 Still 10 days till due date so she better stay in there nice and snug…

False alarm. It was just discharge and braxton hicks (tmi sorry).

Finally up on delivery at 2am, waters broken 2.45am.
As yet no contractions, with Dc #3 , contractions started 10 mins after waters, born 50mins later....
This time, Who knows haha!

40+3 and just woke up from a dream in which we had our baby and I was even coming on here to tell you all...and then I woke up sad that we are still waiting ☹️

38+1 today, started with some aches on Monday which have worsened each day. By Friday I've been cramping in my stomach, intensely in my lower back and shooting down to my bum and legs, and having really strong 'lightning crotch', also had a small clear ish show yesterday (i think) Woken up feeling the same pains and as though my body is just going to take forever and ever to get ready for labour! 🥺

had the dilapan out at 9am and been waiting for a bed on delivery so they can break my waters ever since 😭

Seriously fed up. Another sweep booked for next Sunday and they won’t even talk about inducing me until term+7 which is the 21st. I want to cry my eyes out at the thought of being pregnant any longer I’m miserable

@Rainbowbaby23 i feel you! The last few weeks are so tough on your body and the emotions are all over the place. I’m getting induced tomorrow at term +12 and it’s been the hardest time….cried a few times! They only booked my induction on Friday when I had my second sweep. Hopefully your nhs trust will be able to get your induction booked in just as quickly 🤞

The consultant also said my cervix is so unfavourable any induction will more than likely end up in a section!🫣
