How long did it take you to concieve based on yours and your partner's age?

Hope ye are enjoying the weekend? Just wondering how long did it take everyone to concieve a healthy baby, based on yours and your partner's age?

I'm 37, partner is 33. Took us 7 cycles to fall pregnant and that is with him having a very low sperm count!

@Bex4567 the only thing I can think we did differently was that we didn’t have loads of sex bizarrely! We were so busy and poorly that we only DTD on my peak ovulation day. Before that we were doing it every other day around my fertile window and I got BFNs!

A year at 29 (me) and 30 (him) then 1 cycle at 32 and 33.

Baby one, age 30 at conception, took 4 months.
Baby two, age 31 at conception, took 9 months (currently 8weeks pregnant).

Yes that was me last 2 month every other day then every day during ovulation 😪..think we will try a more relaxed approach this month and see what happens

I no its only been 2 months but its so Deflating

I'm the opposite to op, we had loads of sex that month 😂 the main difference though I think was my partner was going to the gym every single day that month. I don't know how but it must have improved his sperm count somehow!

35/42 - eight cycles

Because it happened so fast first time we were pretty lax tracking ovulation second time around and I think that contributed to the longer wait. The first month I used ovulation sticks I fell pregnant. Would really recommend getting an app like Flo to track cycles and to absolutely use ovulation tests to see the optimum time for DTD.

35 and 38, first cycle, I advocate legs in the air for 10 minutes post deed! 😆.

Also - although we had only been trying for onen cycle, we cut out alcohol two weeks before we started, and I started folic acid and vitamin D tablets 2 weeks before we started to try too.

We were 29 (dad) and 30 (mum) and concieved first try. I did use ovulation testing though, so this helped to know when I was ovulating!

40 and 45 at conception- took 10 months of infrequent sex (long story-we were not in the same location often that year due to a house build. I think we had sex about 20 times!). 41 and 46 at birth.

Suspect if we’d been able to have sex more often it would have been more like 3-6 months.

  1. 4 cycles. Tracked for 3 cycles, then got too stressed by it all. Relaxed and conceived the following month.

I'm hoping that's me been stressed last 4 cycles 🤣relaxing this month no tracking ect...just did every other day hopefully bfp soon 🙏💪🤞🤞😪

I'm 32, partner is 42.

Took 5 cycles. Currently 20 weeks, no issues.

34 and 39, I went off the patch late August/early September, it took us about 2 months, I'm about 4.5 weeks now.

I was keeping an eye on the period tracking app for the ovulation info. We missed it in October because I was at a conference!

I did have some tragic thoughts though😃 it doesn't take long!

Hes been checked and all good. I have low egg reserve and probably poor quality eggs due to age

First cycle off pull but didn't 'take' waited 2 months then prégnant. Born on due date no problems. May have PDA. Works and lives abroad.

I was 35 now 36, partner is 41, we both did fertility tests before ttc, so we were fairly certain no major problems.

We conceived on first cycle unexpectedly, because ovulation app was wrong by 2/3 days! If we had only tried on expected ovulation day, would likely not have been successful. I'm 12 weeks now.
