How long did it take you to concieve based on yours and your partner's age?

Hope ye are enjoying the weekend? Just wondering how long did it take everyone to concieve a healthy baby, based on yours and your partner's age?

1st pregnancy - me 35 DH 49 - 7 months
2nd pregnancy - me 37 DH 51 - 1 month but ended in MC
3rd pregnancy - me 37 DH 51 - 5 months (currently 23 weeks)

1st pregnancy : 27 & 31 1st cycle wasn't really tracking properly

2nd pregnancy: 29 & 33 1st cycle. This time I was tracking currently 14 weeks.

First was a surprise.
second 29 & 40- tried for 2 months then stopped, then it was first cycle trying again.
third 32 & 43- first cycle

Just wandered if u managed to concieve yet I'm 37 and just going into cycle 3

34 and 38 first time trying but had a couple of miscarriages.

35 and 39 first time trying after miscarriage.

Never taken any hormonal contraception.

All in first or second cycle

I'm 36 and he is 51. We conceived by accident whilst using a condom which broke.. I then took the MAP within hours but it did not work. We discussed it and moved forward with the pregnancy. Now very happy about it. Had blood tests to check everything OK and baby looks completely healthy.
We also conceived our son when I was 27 and he was 42, in much the same manner.
Our daughter when I was 30 and he 45 after one night saying we should have a sibling for our son, then having unprotected sex that night.. fell pregnant from that.

I was 36 , my ex husband was 30. First attempt to get pregnant was successful. Prior this relationship, when I was in my early thirties , I was in a long term relationship with someone who was 9 years older than me and we had multiple unsuccessful attempts.

34 (me) 31 (DH) - 1st cycle

36 (me) 33 (DH) - 1st cycle

Me 33 him 32 14 cycles. (1 chemical after 6 months)

Me 32 him 33 first cycle
Me 37 him 38 first cycle
Me 41 him 42 first cycle

Mostly uncomplicated pregnancies.

Me and my DH are the same age so we were both 23 nearly 24 when we started. It took us 20 months to conceive. I’m now 28 weeks pregnant and so far having a textbook pregnancy.

We’re both fit and healthy and both had investigations but they were all fine with no explanation as to why it took us longer than average.

Conceived at 38 & 40, husband 4 years younger. 2nd cycle and 1st respectively. That was the easy bit, unlike the pregnancies and first birth.

First cycle. Both 39. Straightforward pregnancy and birth. DS hale and hearty.

28 and 42 first time
31 and 45 first time

Appreciate we were extremely fortunate but his age didn't seem to have an impact at all

31 and 46 1st, 34 and 49 1st

Wow outlier here. 29+29, took about 20-22 cycles and then conceived aged 31, we had basically given up hope.

Then aged 34, we'd been trying maybe 6-8 cycles but I was still BF. Then stopped bf (not to conceive, it was just time to wean really) and conceived pretty much that month.

Conclusion based on tiny sample: don't bother ttc while bf!

Baby 1 Me 32 him 35 2 cycles
Baby 2 Me 35 him 38 3 cycles
Baby 3 Me 41 him 45 1st cycle - still pregnant with this one but so far so good

DC1 - 1st Cycle - both 34
DC2 - 2nd Cycle - both 36

I have PCOS and was told I may struggle to conceive without intervention. I didn't.

I was 31 and DH 32.
It took 3yrs 1 month from until I conceived first . Second arrived 20 months later. Third 4 years 10 months.
No contraception from marriage in 1992-until birth of last in 2002.

38 & 39, one cycle, all fine

34 & 37, three cycles, all fine

33 & 34, one cycle, sadly not fine.

I was 36 he was 39. First cycle.

I was 32, DH was 40. I conceived within two weeks of having my implant removed.

Both 34 when we started, finally gave birth at 40 after just over 3 years trying naturally and 2 years of IVF. No reason to think we'd have problems when we started.
