So basically me and my gf split up and then at Christmas we met up and slowly started to give things ago, and it was going really well better than ever in fact,
whilst we were split up she slept with someone else I knew this so wasn’t an issue

anyway the first day of her last period is 14th December, she slept with them late on the 21st December around midnight so could say 22nd December

then we met up and had sex numerous times on the 26th and 27th

then also from the 3rd till the 7th then she went to hospital as had a bad uti that was a kidney infection and they tested her for pregnancy then (urine) but I don’t think this would rule out the date before it right ?

anyway she’s now found out she’s pregnant and by the dates I have no idea is the 22nd likely to be to early in the menstrual cycle

a little additional information is that her cycles vary and average at about 30 days
but some are as long as 35.
also her period ended the 19th December not sure if that helps

she’s booked an early detection scan but by what iv read that won’t really give any indication, I’m hoping it says it’s really young and it was concieved in January but I don’t know if it’s possible to ovulate that many days into your cycle

hope this makes sense, there was no protection or birth control used to be clear

Hey I had forgotten to get back in touch, it turns out she is mine although even if she hasn’t been the second she was born I loved her more than anything, the first sound of the cry was quite amazing they passed me the tissues not my partner 😂 (confirmed with dna). I had a beautiful baby girl, and life is great where both very happy and baby is thriving she’s a little chunk, her mam is doing great too, after a bit of a rough start as she had a c section but 2 weeks later needed a further cutterage and dilate as she started bleeding heavy due to them not removing the entire placenta, this was scary but she’s made a full recovery, I’m currently suffering with a bit of what the doctor thinks is post natal depression ( I didn’t know men could get it) but started having panic attacks ( again didn’t know they were panic attacks but went to the hospital twice and called an ambulance once thinking I was having a heart attack) felt quite embarrassed about it, and a little ashamed as I should be caring for them not vice Versa, still struggling with the anxiety now of constantly thinking im going to drop down dead ( im relatively healthy and young as everyone keeps telling me) but for the first time in my life I guess truly happy, I love being a dad and love that our family is a 3 now so im working hard to get through this anxiety thing so that I can do my best for them both thanks for checking in :) she weighed almost 9pounds after being told that she wasn’t growing properly on almost every scan, and was in the 90th percentile for weight at the last health visitor appointment so she’s doing well.

we were also blessed with a baby that from around 2 weeks old sleeps all through the night I remember waking up around 8am and panicking as baby was still a sleep but no she’s just lazy , her mam said she sleeps more than when she did pre baby, It just means during the day she seems to constantly feed on the evening ( breast fed mostly with occasional bottle)

also for all the comments regarding our relationship, yes certain parts of it maybe bad or wrong to you, but iv made plenty of mistakes in my life and hurt plenty of people and I’m sure most of you have, so I didn’t hold any grudge or bad feeling for something she did, she’s kind caring and a loving person and I’ll always be greatful for the fact she made me a father, our relationship has gone from strength to strength

apologies for such a long message
