Did you know before you had a bfp? What were the signs? ((be as graphic as you like)

Yes, I am still ttc no 2 and am ever hopeful that this month's the month...

Can't explain it but I just knew. Nothing obvious like sore boobs or the like - I just knew.

SydneyB · 30/01/2008 19:49

With DD, had no symptoms whatsoever before BFP and actually nothing til about 7 weeks. This time around, I had achy boobs, cloudy CM and then a a bit of brown/pink bleeding a week before AF due, which I guess was imp bleeding. I was more obssessed about it this time so analysed and noticed symptoms. Is qu. possible I had these symptoms most months though! Good luck!

whomovedmychocolate · 30/01/2008 19:49

Knackered, vomiting, sore boobs (blamed DD as am still bfing), grumpiness. Pretty much your average PMT actually. I thought I might be - don't know why. A period which started like the end of a period (brown) but with no pain. Then stopped a day later. Then a BFP kinda gave the game away, was trying to goad period into coming (a preg test normally makes them come instantly for me!)

First time round, snail trail in my pants. Cervical mucous in copious globs every time I wiped.

With each baby I miscarried, nothing, no symptoms.

karen999 · 30/01/2008 19:49

Sore boobs....seemed to start from the moment of conception (with both pregnancies) !!

FrannyandZooey · 30/01/2008 19:52

from about 5 days after ovulating:
when I rolled over on to my front at night the pain in my breasts was enough to wake me up

and dp loved this one, but I felt like I was going to pass wind from my fanjo. I said "i think I may be pg" he said "I think you have some horrible fanjo disease"

FrannyandZooey · 30/01/2008 19:53

oh with ds: funny taste in mouth, extreme tiredness

WestCountryLass · 30/01/2008 19:56

With my third I jsut knew I was PG. I felt from about CD24 I had the salivating/nauseous feeling. Two days before my period was due we drove to Dorset, about 2 hours in the car, and I felt very vomitty. Did a test the next day and was BFP

MrsMacaroon · 30/01/2008 20:14

Pregnancy number one- ridiculous mood swings, swollen bosoms and thrush (nice combo), pregnancy number two- just a weird metallic taste in my mouth when drinking water (was convinced there was some kind of tap abnormality and bugged husband constantly about checking it out even though he said he couldn't taste it). Oh, and burping.

debinaustria · 30/01/2008 20:40

horrible taste in my mouth, sore boobs and discharge

nannyjo · 30/01/2008 20:42

The thought of a coffee made me feel sick literally over night and not due on for a few days yet but knew straight away (with baby No.2)

Mumblesmummy · 31/01/2008 14:32

I was convinced I was pregnant for the 2 months leading up to me actually getting pregnant- and I wasn't. But then when I got pregnant, I didn't have any idea other than I was up 5 times a night for a wee and my skin was all spotty and weird.

DP said to me (4 days before I was due on) 'I think you should do a pregnancy test' and I was like 'nah'. He ekpt saying it, as though he just knew or something (he'd never been like that before). So I took one and I was!! And it showed up on a normal on-the-day test 4 days early. Two the following day confirmed it.

My DP just knew!!

lucykate · 31/01/2008 14:41

mine was spots, worse than when i was a teenager, started erupting as soon as conception takes place, followed by sore boobs

imaginewittynamehere · 31/01/2008 14:43

Lots & lots of weeing from about 5-6 days before AF due

Anna8888 · 31/01/2008 14:44

Getting up at night to pee (never normally need to do this).

Going off coffee.

I could also feel the implantation.

gillythekid · 31/01/2008 14:46

I was in the house, all windows closed and could smell every bit of food being cooked in my street one lunch time, it reached superhuman proportions! Had never been pregnant before but just knew something weird was going on!

Bky · 31/01/2008 14:46

No early symptoms what so ever (well ok a missed period) in either of my two pregnancies

choccypig · 31/01/2008 14:47

Went off coffee..went off chocolate. Could only be pregnant or dead for that to happen.
Trouble was I couldn't be pregnant 'cos I hadn't had sex since the last period...but that's another story. "Miracle baby" is seven on Saturday.

I just knew long before my period was due. I am also sure I felt implantation - kind of niggly pain low down on the right over a couple of days. When pregnancy developed more you could actually see the bump was far more on the right side!

I either had no idea or was in denial that I could be pg since I'd just relocated for uni and was busy settling in again but I was very tired for a month then I began to feel nauseous in the mornings. Even when I was actually sick one day, I blamed it on my flatmate's 'sausage curry' and got my bf to bring me some Andrews up one weekend . Once I twigged, the rest of my bodily changes became more apparent .

PetitFilou1 · 31/01/2008 16:35

Weeing every five minutes
Becoming unfeasibly hot - dh constantly saying that I was like an oven - well effectively I am
Started feeling repulsed by food I normally like

janemf · 31/01/2008 16:40

From about 2 weeks after finding out I had a weird leg/hip/back ache on the left (definitely pregnancy related as the only other time I've had it was with an earlier miscarriage) and I was really hungry all the time.

Before those 2 weeks I had no symptoms and no feeling of 'just knowing' - my periods are irregular so they were a rubbish sign. DH reckoned I was and had to convince me to text again a few days later after the first negative result. Don't know he knew .

wilbur · 31/01/2008 16:41

Bright, bright yellow wee, weird vivid dreams and a stinking cold. No sore boobs or sickness until well past 6 weeks.
