Did you know before you had a bfp? What were the signs? ((be as graphic as you like)

Yes, I am still ttc no 2 and am ever hopeful that this month's the month...

With dd I suddenly developed a craving for ice-cream which normally I eat very rarely. Also similar to Franny, my nipples hurt when I turned over in bed.

This was before my period was even due.

With ds, nothing really obvious.

I just knew the day before I tested which was 4 days before AF was due. My first symptom was a persistant lower back ache (which I wrote off as being a PMS symptom - because I did feel very like AF was about to start) - next symptom was feeling totally ravenous. Still didn't think too much of it til I went to bed dreaming of curry waking up thinking of breakfast straightaway which really isn't like me.
DH had been saying for the previous 3 nights that I was really hot in bed (in the human hot water bottle way).
But the night before the test I was lying in bed and I could just feel my pulse/heart going and I remember thinking 'I just know I'm pregnant' and I was - really wasn't surprised when that line came up on the test
Good Luck!

My first symptom in two pregnancies is no hair loss- usually a handful comes out evey time I wash it, but virtually nothing falls out when I'm pregnant. Noticalbe about one week after conception.

also get the wierd dreams and extreme tiredness. Morning sickness kicks in later.

Rampant insomnia for me (which lasted the whole pregnancy...) and my boobs getting bigger and more ...pregnant looking. Also a flash of nausea when out for a curry but I only realised what that was in retrospect IYSWIM.

Mind you, second time around I didn't realise I was pregnant until it suddenly dawned on me that I had been carrying tampax around waiting for my period to start - for two weeks!

Both times, I did the pregnancy test in the toilet of a shopping centre because I couldn't wait until I got home to test!
