Third baby and due July 2023

Hello, pregnant with my third, from my dates, i'm only just over 4 weeks and due near end July so early days.

If anyone wants to join thought it would be nice to chat on here as not planning on telling anyone for as long as possible. 🙂

I’m sorry I’ve been AWOL, I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. From having very light symptoms, I've spent the last three days in bed with extreme nausea and vomiting, unable to really eat or drink. Doctor prescribed me Cyclizine this morning but I took my first one then immediately threw up so just about to take my second now and hope it works. I feel horrific. Got my booking appt tomorrow and wondering how I’m even going to get to the hospital, nevermind sit there waiting and answering questions etc. Hopeful the medication will kick in but doctor said to go back for a different one if it hasn’t. This is awful. My pregnancy with my DD was so straight forward!
Doc also said my urine sample was starting to show some signs of dehydration and starvation - nothing to worry about yet, hopefully ok if the meds work and I can eat and drink again but something to note. I really don’t want to end up in hospital on a drip 😭

Oh you poor thing, sounds dreadful. Fingers crossed you start to feel better with the meds!

I've been more or less in bed since Christmas night, flu symptoms, went docs today and they confirmed chest infection so I've just started on antibiotics today. Never felt so rough

Oh no, bless you, @Pink Pamplemousse ! These things hit even harder when pregnant, don’t they?! You sound the same as me in that I’ve been in bed since Xmas night, too, and also went to the doc today. Feel so helpless, my poor DH must be exhausted doing all of the parenting and looking after me!

Hi ladies, I have been following this thread since the start but after 2 early bleeds have been too nervous to post but I have now reached 10w+4 and everything seems to be ok 🤞 this is our 3rd baby but a big age gap! My husband was happy with 2 but in summer said he'd like more to my shock! we have 2 DD'S age 10 and 7!! Never expected it to happen so fast but after 2 months I got my BFP!! It's still sinking in tbh! My due date is the same as my youngest 23/7 I have my scan on the 9/1 and it can't come quick enough we've not told anyone unlike with our first 2 and we know that it'll be a huge shock to everyone as we had totally done with babies and began to have time back on our side again.
Everything has been straight forward apart from the bleeding but other then that I'm feeling fine apart from tired and been abit snappy I'm just glad I don't have any sickness. It's been lovely following all of your journeys and a huge congratulations to you all 🎉🎉

Wow! Congrats!

The being snappy part made me smile. DH is being very patient with me but the last few days is getting a bit fed up of my moods 😂🙊 I do not remember being like this with my dd! Hopefully once I'm past the 12 week mark things will be better. Scan on Friday, eek x

Congratulations @Mummy2Girls22! we’re really close in dates, my EDD is 26th July at the mo. Exciting that you have your scan date - I don’t have one yet but hopefully I’ll get it after my booking appt tomorrow.

Think I'm around 16th at the mo.
I've had a couple of wipes with tinged brown/pink mucus (sorry) so I'm panicking a bit but symptoms are super strong so trying to keep positive. Will post on Friday x

Just had another private scan at 10 weeks, all looking good 😊 a few days behind 10 weeks but I was the same at the 8 week scan so as long as baby has grown I'm happy!

Such a (temporary) relief, hopefully all being well after my 12 week scan I can start to relax a bit. Not had my appointment through yet, when did you all get yours? Had my booking appt last week.

@Pink Pamplemousse I had my booking in appointment on 20th December and got my scan date while I was there x

Just had my 12 week scan date through for this time next week 😬 After having had a MMC that was discovered at my first ever 12 week scan, I just cannot enjoy them - I’m already so nervous! Hoping the fact that I still feel awful means all will be ok though (know it’s not always the case but with my MMC, I lost all symptoms completely).
Although it’s dragged in a sense, I can’t believe we’re already coming to the end of our first trimesters, I have a funny feeling this pregnancy is going to fly by! 🙈

@Pink Pamplemousse I had my booking appt on 29th and got a phone call with my scan date just now, so six days after. My MW said to call if I hadn’t heard anything after a week x

Morning ladies, I've just turned 15 weeks and I've recently had barely any discharge at all but it was quite heavy up until a week or two ago, I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? Hope everyone is feeling okay! :)

@lauribec I've only just seen this. I've just turned 15 weeks and mine has calmed down too now. If I remember rightly it was the same with my other two so nothing to worry about :)

Thank you for your reply :) I don't really remember what it was like with my other two and there's a bit of an age gap between them and baby so feel like a first time mum again haha! I'm 18+4 now and thankfully all is well so far with baby, heard her heartbeat yesterday ☺️ hope you're keeping well!

That's good to hear! I'm 22 weeks too ☺️
I have days where I really enjoy it now I'm starting to feel kicks more but then some days I'm miserable because I'm sore 🙈
