MaraudingMother · 27/11/2022 13:30

I've had no symptoms what so ever !! But this is my third DC

passthechoc · 27/11/2022 13:33

👋 Hi, please can I join you all on here. Also due towards the end of July. 2nd baby. 😊

MaraudingMother · 27/11/2022 13:34

My two are 25 months and 10 months! So will be 3 under 3.

Sorry for three messages. My app glitched and just kept sending sentences when I hadn't finished!

SSimp24 · 27/11/2022 14:58

@MaraudingMother this is exactly how I feel, also 3rd baby. I don't feel pregnant at all apart from having a tiny bit of nausea x

MaraudingMother · 27/11/2022 15:25

@SSimp24 yep I have tiny bits but I'm not sure if it's hungry or tired nausea! Other than that no symptoms. Very different to the other two pregnancies

SSimp24 · 27/11/2022 16:08

@MaraudingMother me too. With my first smells made me feel nauseous and I would be sick when brushing my teeth. But with my second I was constantly sick and nauseous pretty much all the way through x

Sunnymummy3 · 27/11/2022 17:50

@Pink Pamplemousse Nope never too early for baby brain, i'm joining you my brain has definitely become a bit fuzzy lately. As for the gap... it means dc1 will be at school and you will have 1 on 1 time with baby for all those lovely newborn cuddles 🥰

@SkyBlue20 Sorry you are feeling so anxious, the early weeks are always hard aren't they, but even more so i'm sure with a previous loss. I am 6 weeks the same day as you, I feel like 7 or 8 weeks feels like a much better time 🙂 although ask again how nice it is then as that will prob be when the nausea kicks in.

@MaraudingMother Did you have nausea/sickness this early on with your other 2? Would be lovely for you if you had a nice easy pregnancy this time. I have very little going on too, but my nausea didn't start until 7 weeks with last 2 so i'll probably be wishing for no symptoms again if that happens 🙂

@passthechoc Hi, congratulations! How are you feeling? We are all having a chat about symptoms atm 🙂

Sunnymummy3 · 27/11/2022 18:12

@SSimp24 Long may it last 🙂 I can't imagine how hard sickness with 2 still to look after/cook for would be. They would be surviving on nice plain sandwiches for every meal I think

MaraudingMother · 27/11/2022 18:16

@Sunnymummy3 I had HG with my first until 21 weeks and then morning sickness and exhaustion from just before a BFP with my second!!

Nothing yet which is making me both relieved and nervous 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I've just read through all the previously messages 😊

So, I don't remember what symptoms I had in my last pregnant in the early weeks, or when the nausea started. So far this time I haven't had any symptoms. I'm not sure if this is because I don't have time to think about it or if I don't actually have any 🤣

Tweetypie27 · 28/11/2022 00:46

Hi ladies I threw up everyday with my sons but nothing with my daughter. I have had zero sickness at all this time either I think it’s another girl. I don’t think it means anything if you aren’t sick though because I remember my first son I was really sick but only once a day with my other sons till seven weeks. My ears and nose are totally Blocked and I’m dizzy a lot which is stressing me out in also still getting hot sweats which are awful :-( I wish they would go I don’t sleep because my hands and feet are on fire.
i really don’t rmember it with my others it’s weird how everyone’s body reacts different.

I hope your are all doing ok? Is anyone having an early scan ?

MaraudingMother · 28/11/2022 07:09

I've just got my 3+ at 5+1!! And my FRER dye stealer

Lovelife2314 · 28/11/2022 09:11

Hi, I am 5 weeks with my first. We are trying to keep it a secret until at least Christmas when we are telling my parents.

Pregnancy was unplanned and if I am being honest I am terrified!

Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. I self referred for the booking appointment and haven't heard anything so hopefully they will offer it soo. GP reception was so rude and said that GP's don't confirm pregnancy. Is this normal?

Thanks

Sunnymummy3 · 28/11/2022 18:11

I'm good thank you @Tweetypie27 still not really feeling pregnant.
I'm sorry you are struggling with that, it must be so uncomfortable, could you contact your GP, maybe he would know how to help it ?

Hi @Lovelife2314 congratulations, the first is lovely 🥰 but also nerve wracking as you said because it's all new. No, you aren't alone, I phoned the GP and was told to self refer to antenatal and then when looked it up, the form says not to fill it in until 8 weeks for the scan and booking in at about 12 weeks so it's a long wait. I am passing time when I think about it looking up pregnancy announcement ideas 🤣 Super early I know but it helps

@Pink Pamplemousse
sorry you’ve been anxious, too! I’ve booked my scan for the day after I turn eight weeks, I believe seeing a heartbeat after that significantly lowers the odds of MC.

welcome, @MaraudingMother and @passthechoc !

@Lovelife2314 I would have loved to have kept it secret until Xmas but my mum would 100% have guessed! So I’m a bit jealous 😂 I’m trying to keep it from my dad until then though (he and my mum are separated so she’s not going to have to keep a big secret!) Would love to keep it from most other people until 20 weeks I think but that’s never going to happen 😂
My GP doesn’t confirm the pregnancy either, I just have to call the midwife and book in with them.

Soooo close to six weeks now (5+5 today), at which point I’m going to call the midwife. I keep saying it but time is CRAWLING, it’s only been a week and a bit since I found out! 🤯 After my anxiety yesterday, the nausea came on strong! It’s been very on and off though, my main symptom is just sheer exhaustion, I get like a wave of it and can’t keep my eyes open! I’m basically mainlining sugar at this point 😂🙈

squirrelnutkins1 · 28/11/2022 19:56

I feel like some symptoms have hit. I felt so sick last night I felt like I looked green! It lasted til about lunch time today. I had a couple of hours feeling ok and now back to feeling yuk.
With my DD I mostly have evening sickness. Hope I dont have morning and evening!

Totally agree about time going sooooooo slow! I really thought it'd go fast with being busy with a toddler but it's just not!

squirrelnutkins1 · 28/11/2022 19:57

@SkyBlue20 we managed til 16 weeks last time and I just loved having that little secret between the two of us! We also found out what we were having but didn't tell a soul!

squirrelnutkins1 · 28/11/2022 20:15

@Sunnymummy3 oooh what ideas for preg announcement do you have?

How did people tell their other halves? Mine didn't go to plan but it was still nice. Funnily, this absolutely wasn't planned, but we were shrieking in disbelief so much it set the baby monitor to record (we were all in DD's room) so some of it is caught on video 🥰

heartbroken22 · 28/11/2022 22:02

Hi guys just checking in. I've made it to 8 weeks 1 day. I had to have a tfmr with last pregnancy at 8 weeks 2 days so tomorrow will be a big day for me. I've been throwing up like crazy and I realised its because I've not been eating regularly. DH doesn't understand. I don't think men do. I wish he experienced how I feel pregnant all the way to the end. But at least I've been grocery shopping today and got all my snacks that I need. I'm honestly having mad cravings. Still having to sleep with chewing gum in the corner of my mouth to help me sleep from the nausea. My ribs still feel sore and feel like they're moving to make room for baby. It's amazing how our body works! I hope you are all okay. I've come to terms with having a 3rd baby. I'm not scared anymore. I'm anxious yes but not afraid like before and not depressed as though I made a bad choice. Honestly I think it was the hormones causing me anxiety. Also ran out of irn bru today and salt and vinegar crisps and honestly did so much sick! Had a nap and then craved some cheese and lettuce sandwiches that my mum used to make for me as a child. What are some weird cravings you're having?

SSimp24 · 28/11/2022 22:04

@Lovelife2314 I'm also keeping it quiet until Christmas :) my best friend knows but that's it.

We're getting the elf to leave a note for the kids on Christmas Eve, then my partners sister is round that night and my family are round on Boxing Day so will tell them all then ☺️

SSimp24 · 28/11/2022 22:18

I did get one of these ready too :)

Lovelife2314 · 29/11/2022 07:32

Hi @Sunnymummy3 yes I am looking up announcement ideas too.... Etsy have lots of nice things! I've orded a box with booties in and inside the lid it says how does Nanny and Grandad sound? It's their first grandchild too so they are going to be over the moon.

@SkyBlue20 that's lovely you can keep it from your dad...my mum visited a couple of days after I found out and I pretended to be hungover as a reason for not having wine with lunch 🙈 If she has an idea about it, she hasn't said anything...I'm a terrible liar! Now trying to avoid her until Christmas 🤣🙈

@SSimp24 my best friend knows too. She worked it out! But I did make her cry by asking her to be my maid of honour on the same night she found out. ☺️

SSimp24 · 29/11/2022 07:44

@Lovelife2314 aw how lovely! That would have made me cry too ❤️

Sunnymummy3 · 29/11/2022 15:41

@squirrelnutkins1
Just looking through general ones and then social media ones, lots of nice ideas. Going to try to keep this quiet as long as possible from everyone, I see my parents almost daily though so we will see how it goes 🙂

I just showed dh the test to tell him, we were both in shock for a good few days so no romantic story here 😁. Aw that's lovely that you got it on video, you will be able to show your dc when they are older 🙂

@lovelife That is a lovely way to do it and they will be over the moon even more so with it being the first grandchild, I bet you can't wait!

@SSimp24 That is a lovely card 🥰
