Hello, pregnant with my third, from my dates, i'm only just over 4 weeks and due near end July so early days.

If anyone wants to join thought it would be nice to chat on here as not planning on telling anyone for as long as possible. 🙂

My symptoms have literally disappeared so I'm now worrying I've had a MMC :( this happened last time

squirrelnutkins1 · 12/12/2022 13:14

@MaraudingMother
Sending love. I've had similar thoughts with symptoms coming and going. Will you be able to get a scan soon? Xxx

MaraudingMother · 13/12/2022 20:57

@squirrelnutkins1 had a scan today, measuring 7 weeks with a little heartbeat :)

squirrelnutkins1 · 13/12/2022 21:11

Amazing news!! So happy for you!!! @MaraudingMother

SkyBlue20 · 15/12/2022 14:07

Had a private scan today and saw a lovely fast heartbeat on the screen 🤍 Measuring at 7+5 (I should be 8+1 based on LMP) but the sonographer said I had a tilted uterus so it’s hard to be exact and I also believe I ovulated on day 18/19, which would make it spot on! So lovely to see that all is ok. When I had a MMC, baby stopped growing at 9 weeks, so I know this is just one little step but it feels like one hurdle passed. I may book another scan for 10 weeks. Also got my booking appt today for just after Xmas.

Hope everyone is doing ok! I’m full of a cold so have given myself a few hours off work and have been hibernating on the couch as I feel terrible and so so sleepy. Must move now though and actually get something done!

squirrelnutkins1 · 15/12/2022 14:10

@SkyBlue20 great news!! Xx

Congratulations! Lovely news Smile seems we have a few things in common!

I've also just got back from a private scan (I'm 7+6 but they put me a few days behind). All looks good so far and there was a heartbeat! I also have a tilted uterus which I knew already.

I've booked another scan in for Friday 30th December, fingers crossed we make it to then and hopefully my NHS scan will be a few weeks later. I also had a MMC in June so just trying to make it to these little milestones.

Lovelife2314 · 15/12/2022 17:50

@SkyBlue20 and @Pink Pamplemousse fantastic news!!! So glad things are going well!!!
Got to embrace the small wins along the way!

This got me excited for my viability scan on Sunday when I should be 8+1. Hope I can report some good news then too!

SkyBlue20 · 15/12/2022 19:09

Thanks everyone!

wow, @Pink Pamplemousse, we do have so much in common! I’m tempted to book another scan for around the same time as yours - I believe a good scan after 10 weeks is almost as good as one at 12 in terms of odds of the pregnancy going on to be successful. I would have just waited until 10 weeks this time but wanted it before Xmas. Pregnancy is just awful after loss, isn’t it? You really do have to take one milestone at a time. I cried when they said there was a heartbeat today, I just find scans so stressful! Really happy for you that yours all looked good, too 🥰

good luck with your scan on Sunday, @Lovelife2314!

Although each day has dragged, it does feel like no time at all since I joined the thread and scans seemed so far away and here we all are 🤍

Yes, I know what you mean about 10 weeks. I've booked mine for Friday 30th December. I found out at 11 weeks with my MMC that the baby had stopped growing at 8+4 so I guess I'm just hoping if I can make it to 10 weeks then I'll feel less anxious.

You're right, after a loss it's so hard! With my daughter (now 4) I had quite an easy pregnancy with no issues really and just took for granted things would be the same again. Loss definitely takes away the innocence of it all Blush

On a positive note today was lovely, I'm so glad you had good news too. It seems lots of people are now having positive news which is reassuring! X

SSimp24 · 15/12/2022 20:54

I've had an early reassurance scan tonight, from LMP I worked out 8 weeks today but they said I'm 7weeks 1 day, which is about right to be honest ☺️ feel so much more at ease now I know everything is okay though x

squirrelnutkins1 · 15/12/2022 22:09

@SSimp24 great news 🙂
Happy to hear so much positive news 🤍

I'm totally in the same camp with pregnancy after loss, definitely takes the shine off things. I've felt quite well today.... which then made me worry! Back to feeling sick tonight tho so hoping that's good news. My 12 week scan is on 30th Dec. 2 weeks tomorrow, feels a lifetime away! I think time is dragging a bit because of the weather, we've not been out and about as much as usual.

SSimp24 · 15/12/2022 22:26

@squirrelnutkins1 yeah definitely!
I'm sure it will soon go with the busy time of Christmas etc ☺️ exciting though!
I've got my booking in appointment on Tuesday so hopefully will get a date for my 12 week scan then too x

Pink Pamplemousse · 17/12/2022 15:50

Hi ladies, so this morning I have had some very light brown/pink spotting when wiping. Only on 2-3 occasions.

Trying to rationalise that this could be following my internal scan on Thursday. Also (TMI) I've been very constipated and had a rather large BM this morning!

I could be overreacting but im in a bit of a panic as similar happened a few weeks before my MMC Blush

How are you today? Xx

Pink Pamplemousse · 18/12/2022 20:50

@squirrelnutkins1 touch wood no more spotting. It was only very light and I know spotting is very common in pregnancy. I think after a previous loss anything like that is triggering though. Don't know if I'm being dramatic calling midwife/EPU about it tomorrow?!

On another note I've had horrendous nausea all day and just feel exhausted! How are you feeling?

Also how was your scan today @Lovelife2314 ? X

squirrelnutkins1 · 18/12/2022 21:10

Oh that's good news! Yes absolutely, I still get nervous every time I wipe just in case!
No harm in talking it over with your midwife/epu :)

Same for me, nausea is awful. I almost wish I'd just be sick and maybe I'd feel better!!

Lovelife2314 · 18/12/2022 21:21

@Pink Pamplemousse scan went very well thank you. It feels real now! I have what looks like a tadpole growing inside me! Saw a good heartbeat and everything is where it should be. Feel more relaxed now.

Baby has measured at 7+5 so due date has moved to 1st August. Only 3 days later though.

Sorry to hear your spotting. Don't worry I'm sure it's ok if it was light. I Would call midwife If it returns though, just for peace of mind. Well done for rationalising it! Better than me!

Pink Pamplemousse · 19/12/2022 09:52

Thanks @squirrelnutkins1 hope the nausea subsides for us both soon, it's just the worst!

@Lovelife2314 Ahh congrats on the scan, it's so lovely to see isn't it xx

SkyBlue20 · 19/12/2022 19:55

congrats on the scans, @SSimp24 and @Lovelife2314!

@squirrelnutkins1 hope the next 11 days fly by for you - they should, hopefully, with Xmas in the mix.

@Pink Pamplemousse any more signs of spotting? I really do get the worry - I had a small amount of spotting with my MMC, but then I also had the exact same thing at the exact same time with my successful pregnancy so know that it doesn’t mean that anything is wrong for certain, it’s just one of those things. Hope you’re ok.

I’m ill at the moment, my daughter is ill, my husband is ill, nursery has finished for Xmas, we’re in the middle of renovations, Xmas is creeping up and I still haven’t finished my shopping, I haven’t wrapped a single present, there’s work to think about and everything just feels HARD. Can’t even tell you what my symptoms have been like as I’m feeling so rubbish anyway but I still can’t stop eating and am EXHAUSTED. Have been a bit crampy/achey but only lightly so hoping it’s nothing to worry about but I just need some rest. Early night tonight I hope 🤞🏼 Sorry, very woe is me but so few people know IRL, I don’t feel like I have many I could talk (moan) to!

squirrelnutkins1 · 22/12/2022 14:40

@SkyBlue20 hope you're feeling better now and all in your house!
8 days to go, eek!

Hey, hope you're feeling a lot better. It seems everyone's ill, my daughters just started with it today Envy.

No more spotting thankfully, spoke to my midwife today at booking appointment and she didn't seem too concerned. Fingers crossed no more!

Hello, I just wanted to message to say that I have had a crazy month, quite a few things happened including a miscarriage that started at 9 weeks, so that's why I haven't been on chatting lately.

I am going to come off of the thread now but I wanted to say thank you for the chats and wish all of you all the very best for the rest of your pregnancy's before I go. 🙂💗 x

I'm so sorry to hear this. I've been there and it's awful, look after yourself and be kind to yourself. Sending love xx
