Hi guys I found out i am pregnant yesterday at 11dpo with a very faint line on a first response.

Yesterday evening I started bleeding a little or spotting, it was there when I wiped.

This morning I went to do another test and the wee was red in the cup and some in the toilet and there was little bits of tissue in there too.

The things is , the tests have gotten 10 x stronger like a lovely strong pink line and even a pregnant word on a digital. When yesterday they were BARELY Visable. Today they are really really strong you could see them
In a dark room. I'll attach a photo. Top is yesterday bottom two are today.

Could I still be pregnant I don't know what's happening . 😭

Has anyone had bleeding around this time and went on to have a healthy pregnancy? I will ring my doctor tomorrow to ask about bloods but has anyone had this. Please give reassurance if you have

Me. I bled for about six days. It was horrible, as I was anxious and sad. I went for a scan and the bleeding continued after it but did stop, and I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby.

I don’t know why I bled for so long or what was causing it.

Best is to contact your doctor xx

I bled for 16 weeks, no idea why and it was quite heavy almost like a period which wasn't pleasant however I am now feeding the baby .

You can speak to the early pregnancy unit and they'll check you out, hope it all goes well Flowers

Me - I bled OP and cramped and there was a lot of it for days. I thought the worse but as ivf I had to have a scan at a certain timescale and I was pregnant with twins.
After that initial bleed it never happened again.
I hope everything is ok for you.

Irishwifey · 13/11/2022 11:21

Thank you so much for your replies.

I have some cramping but also had this for my first. Buy never any bleeding.

There is some tissue in there (floating around in the toilet, almost like white thin skin, sorry tmi). It's not on my underwear but when I wipe it's almost like a normal period. Almost.

Would that be normal? I'm holding onto hope that the lines on my test are good. Also they've gone darker so quickly too while the bleeding was happening.

Is this like any of your

I also bled at about 7 weeks. It was like a clot: I definitely thought I had lost the baby. Had a scan and everything was fine and I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Fingers crossed for you OP 💐

There is a substantial amount of blood. It's not on my underwear but is turning the water red in the toilet when I go.

Was yours like this or only very light?

Thank you xxx

I had 2 proper bleeds when I was about 6 weeks and, I think around 8 or 10 weeks. In between I had lots of brown discharge. The first bleed was like a period. The second one was much more alarming because it was a sudden gush at night. I made my way to the toilet to clean myself up, then, because it was so much blood, I guess, I fainted and fell down the stairs😬
Baby is now nearly 10 months old! To this day still no idea why I had the bleeds.

Thank you so much for your reply. So glad to hear that your baby is healthy ❤️

My bleeding is like a period with some tissue in it. It feels so worrying tbh but the tests are giving me some hope

Was it like a period?

I’ve had this twice, first pregnancy had on and off bleeding and all worked out fine and had a healthy pregnancy. Second pregnancy it was more like a period and it ended as a miscarriage at around 5.5 weeks.

Thank you for sharing your experience and so sorry to hear about your loss. 💐

Did you have bleeding the whole time or did it stop and start again?

When you had bleeding on your first was it medium level or very light?

Overthebow · 13/11/2022 14:25

Point being at this stage it can go either way and it’s too early to tell. It could be a chemical pregnancy or it could all be fine.

Fingers crossed that my lines doubling/tripling in darkness is a good sign. Still bleeding but only when I wipe. I've been upset all day 😢 can't shake it off.

Does the bleeding slow down if you lie down, but then get worse again if you stand up? That happened to me with my first pregnancy and I did go on to miscarry. With my next 3, I had early bleeding, but very light and only when I wiped. Those pregnancies continued. Then I had another which was fine until 8 weeks and then I had sudden and heavy bleeding and a miscarriage. The only one I had no bleeding for was the last one.

LynneBenfield · 13/11/2022 15:16

No one can tell you that your pregnancy will be fine. I did have a bleed at 5 weeks, went to the EPU. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and child. However, I have also bled between 5-8 weeks and the pregnancies have not continued.

Fingers crossed that your pregnancy sticks, OP Flowers

It could be a good sign, but I don’t think you should fixate on that. It’s really hard when it’s so early as there’s really nothing you can do at this stage, but try to keep busy and keep positive. Test again in a week or so time and then contact your EPU for a scan. If they’re like my EPU they won’t scan until 6 weeks but won’t hesitate to see you at that time.

Irishwifey · 13/11/2022 16:21

I appear to be actively bleeding. It's there when I wipe but never on the pad I seem to be wiping it away every time I go to the bathroom before it goes on the pad. I dunno it's bright red and there are some little clots but not very heavy.

I wish I could fast forward this next week I'm really struggling with this. I appreciate each and every one of you for replying to me and taking time to
Chat with me. I'm just struggling with it

No wasn’t like a period just a little dark brown spotting. I know it’s really hard, and only time will tell. Thinking of you; it’s hard to ride it out ❤️

VioletLemon · 13/11/2022 18:20

I bled early on in both pregnancies, was advised to stay lying down for a couple of weeks, they are both in 20s now. Probs old fashioned advice, FYI both bleeds were after sex...

I bled exactly when my period was due. It lasted for a day or so and was light. It was red blood. I also bled later on various occasions between about weeks 7 and 9. It was terrifying and obviously could have gone either way but I was lucky and DS is now nearly one.
