I don't think my T3 has been measured at all. Just TSH, T4 and antibodies. Interesting that you say TSH is irrelevant though. The info I read on the net says it's important to get TSH to between 0-1 in first trimester and T4 should be upper end of range.

sambrads · 09/02/2008 13:33

hi ya ladies

ladt lush my tsh is between 0-1 and my t4 is in the higher end of range which my doc is pretty happy with .

when i went for my early scan on friday they said i have to wait 8 weeks for next scan which will bring me to 15 + weeks and i am mad about that asi want the hospital to do my bloods before that

Can't you get your gp to check your bloods. It doesn't have to be the hospital does it?

Leonie your knowledge is very useful. I will ask my gp to check the T4. If the T4 is ok, is there any need to check the T3. I have to say, I am a bit confused about the T3 and the conversion

Aha (the light bulb) Thanks, that makes sense. I will talk to my gp before my next thyroxine blood test is due.

sambrads · 11/02/2008 08:53

are you only getting the nausea in the morning? If so, you could take the thyroxine at a different time (but discuss with your dr). Or eat a ginger biscuit with it. I know you're supposed to take on empty stomach but one biscuit won't make a difference.

sambrads · 11/02/2008 17:21

thanks lady lush unfortunately i am being sick all day round so its hard to say whens best to take it

how are you ???
