Just had my 21 week scan :) all looking great. It's a little baby.....

I had a scan on my cervix today so got a glimpse of the baby but have my 20 week scan on Friday. It was good to see their heartbeat today!

Did you have any inklings that he was a boy, before the scan? 😊

Is anyone else super exhausted? This week & last week have been like a return to the 1st trimester for me 😴😴😴

I started feeling baby move from last week which is super exciting BUT from yesterday I had this really mild vibrating feeling on my left belly especially when i sit down. anyone else feeling the same? I had the pulse feeling from belly for a while now as in i could feel some heartbeat which I assume its the extra blood flow but this new vibrating feeling is new and feels way faster than a heartbeat so kind of panicking again!!!

Yeahhh, we had a feeling it was a boy for some reason haha I'm not sure why. I've been super sick.

Can't feel any movements yet still even though baby was doing somersaults again haha my placenta is at the front so blocking the kicks a bit

@Janch13 omg yes.. I feel so tired and can't be bothered for work. I finish for Christmas next Friday and it can't come any quicker. I've lost motivation! Not sure if that's being pregnant or just don't like my job anymore 🤣

It really reassures me @Flowersflowers121 that you haven't felt much (hope that doesn't sound bad!). I only have a wee bump (like small enough to just be a big dinner) and no movements and feeling really upset and anxious about it atm (18 weeks tomorrow)

I'm 19 weeks tomorrow, barely have a bump and so far haven't felt any movements but I've been feeling this pulse too. I can literally sit with my hand on the left lower side of my belly and feel the pulse/heartbeat strong as anything, it's so strange! Although, I have an anterior placenta so I've been told not to expect much until maybe closer to the 25 week mark... it's quite disheartening to be honest as it still doesn't feel real at the moment because I have no bump and no movements 🥹

Awwwh, yeah <3 I've literally felt nothing but he's moving all over the place apparently and has a really strong heartbeat etc :) I hope I do feel something soonish though because it sounds fun and nice hahaha but I'm at least not worried about it anymore :)

I wrote a really long reply and all it posted was awwh yeah hahaha :( can't even remember what I'd written hahaha

@CatMad22 I’m the same, I have a list of work stuff I need to get done before Xmas but I just can’t find the motivation to do anything!!

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl Don’t feel disheartened. I’m the same as you - no bump & no movements yet. Just enjoy being able to wear your regular clothes & still feeling like yourself for the time being :) it will come really soon. X

@Janch13 I'm glad it's not just me! I find myself doing no work for hours and then finally cramming it in late afternoon.

@Flowersflowers121 @IWillBeWaxingAnOwl I haven't felt anything either, I'm 18+2. Sometimes I feel weird sensations but I'm pretty sure it's gas, haha. A family member came over at the weekend and said she felt it from 6 months, so I think we're all ok. It's just an anxious time!

Anyone else get these days? Hoping I’ll feel better tomorrow but I think cause I’m at that funny stage where I know there’s something there but I can’t feel it etc, I’m panicking! Anterior placenta too so probably won’t feel it for ages yet! Next scan isn’t until after Christmas.

Hello please may I join? I'm due May 29th and just over 16 weeks. I have my 16 week midwife appt tomorrow.

After lots of miscarriages I'm really struggling to connect in my mind that I'm having a baby, my belly is getting bigger but my head is saying "don't be silly you'll never be a mum" it's so hard, all of this anxiety. I wish we had a button to turn our tummies see through and see baby is okay in there 😭

@Awkwardusername I feel the same and my 20 week scan isn't until after Christmas either.

I had a scan last Friday and everything looked good but it was a gender one so I don't think they're medically trained like the NHS ones.

Welcome @elm26 - I'm similar - 3 year loss and infertility history so very much struggling to think this will actually happen

@Janch13 I’ve been feeling good but today and yesterday I feel exhausted again. Hope I perk up as we’re off to New York on Friday, and I want to make the most of it, within reason (booked pre-baby and Dr/midwife have both said there’s no reason not to go).

I thought I felt movement last week but I think I must have been mistaken as nothing since, that I’ve noticed. I’m 19+1 with my first, but not worried as Dr said it could be a few more weeks yet. Looking forward to my next scan on 21st though, to hopefully confirm all is well.

When I saw the specialty Dr last week, she told me I’d be having growth scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks, but I don’t really understand why. She just said it’s nothing to worry about. Can anyone shed any light? I’m not worried, just curious.

Welcome @elm26, to ease some of your worry the midwife might let you listen to the baby's heartbeat at the 16 week appointment. Mine did and it was massively reassuring.

I have started to feel movements but there intermittent still.. hoping they become more regular soon.

@raffika we will be having extra scans again cause of growth concerns due to low PAPP-A so could have small baby last pregnancy I had extra growth scans as there were concerns my son was growing to quickly due to diabetes. Im surprised they didn’t give you any information on why they’re doing extra scans but it’s good they’re keeping close eye on baby, and you will get to see them more too.

We had a private well-being/gender scan yesterday and found we’re having a baby girl 🎀💖🎀 I’m so pleased, we’re both over the moon. I ended up adamant baby would be a boy. Can’t wait for January for the 20week scan now!

Midwife listened to HB which was 150bpm and lots of kicks in between apparently! Love this little girl so much already.
