Thought I'd start a new thread. Just got my BFP. Had a MC in May so tentatively optimistic. Looks like my due date is April 1st. Would be good to get to know others in the same boat x

@JP3264 congratulations. What amazing news!!! You must be overjoyed!

@faithtrustandpixiedust thanks for your thoughts. I'm trying to stay relaxed and will see what happens. Trying to stay level headed and remind myself that not testing again is the right decision for me for my mental health. What will be will be.

@Saribon will let you know next week how the next few days go. I'm hoping you're all right about the digital test.

Congratulations and welcome to all new joiners! I'm sorry that many of you have had a difficult journey to get here and hope that we can all support each other.

Thanks to those of you who offered messages of support to me yesterday - they really helped.

So, the scan didn't show anything. I think it's still too early. They did bloods and HCG was 900 which is good and moving in the right direction. I've got follow up bloods on Saturday and appointment with the midwife tomorrow.

Spotting is getting less and had much less today than previous days. Hopefully it'll stop altogether soon.

I did another test tonight and still faint but I also noticed that I’ve been getting these fainter lines since I started a new box of tests. Same brand but different box so hoping it’s this batch maybe? Boobs back to hurting badly so that’s another possible positive for tonight. Hoping for no spotting in the morning, I did nothing at work today because I was so distracted and In my own head

The fatigue has hit me like a ton of bricks 🫠 ended up having a nap at lunchtime yesterday which I never do and then went to bed early and I've woken up still feeling pretty exhausted. Thank god it's Friday!

Anxiety is still so high. Just over a week until my first scan.

@limoncelloo congratulations that’s very good news this morning.

Spoke to the midwife, who wasn't much help, I've been told to take another test next week and if it's positive ring her next Thursday and that's it! Oh apart from don't lift anything heavy!!! Bleeding stopped on Tues and have had some spotting the last few days. Not feeling very hopeful 😕

Morning, I might be out because I don't know my cycle (due to being in contraception for so long) I had my last AF 2nd July and lasted 3 days. Had UPS 21&22nd, in my head I'd be due on tomorrow so I tested this morning and got negative. I'll see what happens next week

we have just done our first cycle of ivf and have been getting positive results for the last week, although the line doesn’t seem to be getting much darker. If I’ve got dates right we should be due 3rd April.

only symptom I have currently is nausea 🤢 I have ten year old twins and I remember the sickness being terrible so I’m hoping it doesn’t get that bad this time!!

hoping everyone else is well and coping with the range of emotions - it’s certainly a rollercoaster worrying about things x

@BusinessMum22 my last period started 2/7 and lasted three days but my cycle is typically short at 23 days. I tested this morning and line was so, so faint. My period would have been Wednesday this week according to flo. Ive been getting positives since 15/07 , I have no idea how and I’ve never had a strong dark line but they have been consistently positive and the digitals have said pregnant but I’m sure the dye tests are getting fainter and I’d def expect them to start darkening now. This is driving me to distraction I def need to stop testing for a few days 😬 I think I have one strip test in the box and after that’s gone I’m not buying any until end of next week. That’s my new goal

@HoneyPea sorry the midwife wasn’t much support. Hopefully the bleeding was something and nothing

@41andtryingforfirst I've read back though all your posts - what a difficult journey. I'm pleased that things are looking promising despite all the stresses.

@Saribon sorry to hear your lines are faint. I have decided the tests are definitely the torture devices someone else called them that earlier in the thread.

I still have no symptoms since they went away yesterday, but no full bleed yet.
My tummy feels like it does when AF is on her way but don't know how long it may take for my period to come.

@N27 congratulations - you must be so happy. I hope your lines darken soon. It is so stressful.

@HoneyPea sorry you're in a bit of a limbo. I'm waiting to see what happens too and am not going to POAS again and just see what happens with whether I am having a chemical.

Wish we were all having easier journeys.

@41andtryingforfirst I'm glad you've had some positive news :) Good luck with your midwife appt today! Hopefully those HCG levels continue to rise. Would be interested in joining the Facebook group too.

@Saribon try not to worry about the faint tests, I would focus on the symptoms. I think I've had dodgy tests recently, which have shown faint lines but on the FRER and CB it has been a clear positive. No bleeding this morning I hope?

@Loz365 the tiredness is unreal! I was about ready to collapse last night, and the kids were refusing to sleep lol. I'm on nights tonight, so definitely no sleep for me 🙈 Naps are a good thing, sleep when you can

@36and4th No bleeding or discharge but some mild cramps and bloated. I haven’t been able to try a FRER yet so think I’ll buy one of them for next time. Maybe for Monday or Tuesday next week xxx

@Saribon that's really good news! And yeah, probably good plan! It's so tempting to test all the time, I'm definitely holding off now. I really hope the FRER gives you the bold positive x

I'm 4 weeks 6 days today, according to my Flo app. I have an appt with the healthcare at the GP today, who I will mention feeling exhausted and the pregnancy.

I've been having so many conflicting thoughts recently, mainly on how we will cope. Money is really tight and the girls are demanding already.

How everyone well today. Think my hormones are definitely kicking in. See something remotely emotional and am nearly weeping but also feeling quite irritable with a short fuse 😂 anyone else?

@tulipsunday I’m always crying anyway 😂 but I have noticed more frequent variation in mood. I’m constantly having to wee, like every hour until towards the end of the day as well. I really hope these pregnancy symptoms mean more than the weak test results it’s the one thing I’m holding on to now xx

@tulipsunday I've definitely been getting more upset over nothing. I also have a persistent headache and everything tastes bitter and gone off

@tulipsunday same! Very weepy and irritable. My fuse isn't very long anyway, but the last few days it's become shorter 🙈 and crying at anything remotely emotional haha
My boobs feel huge too!

And didn't mean to actually post this. Moment of weakness 😅

@36and4th I completely get those moments of panic. Every child I’ve had I’ve had moments where I’m like ‘wtf am I thinking adding more to this’ 😂 but the panic is hormonal ! I’m less worried because mine are getting older now, my eldest is 18 and working. I did have a funny turn when I thought about the fact that it’s another ten year of school. School runs , school parties, sports days and parents evenings 🙄 but I’m probably secretly happy about that. I miss my kids being small so I’m blessed if I get to do it all again x

@Saribon 😅 I'm sure it is! There is a long time to think about it all, and it will work out :)

I tested positive today. Faint early morning then darker later this morning. This is my third pregnancy - first DS was stillborn and second was MC so my fingers and toes are crossed that this is it ❤️
