So I thought I'd put this thread together so that anyone who hasn't shared their baby news can rant / express their feelings etc so they can get it out and get anything off their chests!

I'll go first..

Due Feb 2023 - second baby

My GOD did I forget about the fatigue and the nausea! And this time I've got a lovely metallic taste in my mouth that won't go away and I can't stomach anything other the beige food! That being said, I feel so so lucky and greatful to be able to do this all over again 🥺
I just can't wait to tell people because I'm excited and feel like sh*t 😂

I'm due January 2023, and feel sooooo rough 😭

Super happy to be pregnant, as I'm 41 and thought it might not happen for us again (had DD when I was 39).

But the nausea and fatigue.... Awful! So much worse this time round, with a toddler to look after too.

justsayso · 30/06/2022 23:20

Hi, currently 7+2 with our first, I'm 35, and keep thinking I'm not pregnant any more! My symptoms dropped off through week 6 then this week I've felt (and am feeling right now) my womb stretching/ mild period pains and I think I had my first bout of morning sickness this morning. All I want to eat is fruit and salad and cake. Meat makes me feel ill. So hopefully there is still something in there!
Good luck to everyone

blibbyblobb · 30/06/2022 23:56

Oh my the fatigue and nausea have wiped me out today! I had loss of symptoms all last week and bit of a scare. Today all was confirmed well and im 6 weeks 4 days and wow did the symptoms come back with a vengeance! I never felt like this with my son this early.

Dinosaurdrip · 01/07/2022 12:30

I'm due at the end of January, I have 3 DC already my youngest being 9 this was definitely a happy accident, at 41 I really thought I was done!

I feel so tired all the time but then can't sleep at night!! The waiting for 12 week scan is the worst, after 2 MC I just want to know everything is ok.

Cottage123 · 01/07/2022 15:46

Love the idea for this thread! I'm 6+1 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. I have had nausea for the past week that seems to be getting worse. I also feel really hormonal!

I work in an office full time and I feel like everyone knows (I'm sure they don't I just can't help but feel paranoid) because I have been eating A LOT more than usual (helps with the nausea) and I am also a lot more quiet, I don't feel like talking to anyone!! I'd rather be at home in bed 😂I can't wait until everyone knows so they don't think I'm having some sort of crisis lol!

Lmf685 · 01/07/2022 15:54

Preg with my second, due january 2023, 9 +5, never had morning sickness with my first but this time i do and its horrible. Only been sick once though but this has been since around 6 weeks and i am begging it passes soon. Its sooo frustrating cause i feel sick, but eating helps but cause food makes me feel sick i cant eat and then i feel even worst :( its a horrbile cycle haha.

2020firsttimemum · 02/07/2022 11:18

Sending love and strength to you all! 🤍

@Cottage123 I remember thinking this with my first! But no one is really paying too much attention haha. I also remember thinking 'they're gonna see I'm pregnant' cause I felt so big so early on (thank you bloating) but no one had a clue!

I'm now 6+4 with second baby and I am sooooo tired. Feeling very guilty that I don't have the energy to cook clean and play with my little one as much

I'm 6 weeks now and these stomach cramps/bloating.
I was up early so been sleep on and off and up now.
The tiredness is really bad can't seem to do anything lol.
On and off feeling sick.
I am worried about my scan on Friday..I was so early when I went last week and they said but pregnancy sac their in right place because I was worried about pain on right side but was a cyst that burst. She said nothing to worry about.
Trying not to think of Friday.

@Scorpio8 keeping everything crossed for you that it all goes well! I'm sure it'll be absolutely fine. These little things like to keep us on our toes don't they

It's hard because I am so early and only told my two friends and my manager. So it's like hard but then again don't want anyone to know at all.
My mum is coming Monday it will be hard not telling her.

S0220 · 02/07/2022 23:55

Love the idea of this thread!

I am 7+5 today, due February 2023. Absolutely wiped out by the tiredness this week more so than previous weeks! And bloated so much so that I actually look like a have a bump already! Doesn't help that I have a huuuuge appetite at the moment so I'm definitely eating more than I did pre-pregnancy already 😩

Sending you all lots of luck xx

maggiebun · 03/07/2022 09:52

I'm 9 weeks today, feel totally wiped out. I'm sleeping 9 hours a night then having to nap at weekends and sometimes before DH gets home from work. And bloating yes, the bloating OMG look about 6 months and feel so fat!! Might have to try some smoothies.
Iv also found if I don't have a cup of tea and eat straight away I feel so nauseous, but that will hard on weekdays because I can't stomach food at 6am

Scorpio8 · 03/07/2022 09:58

This bad bloating and lower back pain driving me mad.
I can't lay on the bed for long or even sit down for long.

2020firsttimemum · 03/07/2022 17:42

@maggiebun I feel the same as you! Napping when I can, feeling huge with bloat and also feeling nauseous in the morning but feeling like I can't eat that early! Also made harder with a 2 year old!

Cant wait for T2

Nyxxie · 03/07/2022 20:37

Oh my goodness, the bloating! I'm 10 weeks today and so huge by the evenings. Absolutely shattered too, and still quite nauseous. I've found things that I can stomach eating but struggling to find stuff to drink that doesn't make me queasy. Even water seems to have a funny taste at the moment!

PeanutButterFalcon · 03/07/2022 21:32

@Nyxxie I can’t find anything to drink either. I’ve gone completely off everything. Last pregnancy I lived on ribena but this time I can’t even look at it.

Nyxxie · 03/07/2022 21:39

@PeanutButterFalcon I usually can't stand Ribena so maybe it's worth a try 🤔 😂

PeanutButterFalcon · 03/07/2022 21:46

@Nyxxie I think it was the sweetness. Except this time I can’t stand anything sweet

SMD16 · 03/07/2022 21:49

Hey! I'm 8+6 and had a private scan today happy to share a pic if anyone wants to see. This is my 1st and due Feb 2023.

I've been okay on the morning sickness side of things as long as I have a digestive when I wake up but the bloating starts around 12pm for me and continues until I wake up in the morning, it's painful!

Congrats everyone x

Sussex34 · 03/07/2022 21:51

Love this post! I’m 8+5 and even though this is baby #2 I’m worrying about everything 😂 Tiredness and nausea subsided a bit but aversions still there and the unquenchable thirst?! Living on fizzy drinks!

Due feb 2023 as well! I'm holding up okay... just about!

I'm emetophobic so as soon as I started feeling sick I went straight to the GP, got on cyclizine which did bugger all and now I'm on prochlorperazine which is LOVELY.

The most crippling thing has been the fatigue and digestion issues, plus I'm now at the point where I'm getting up in the night six, seven, eight times to pee. My bladder is like a bottomless pit.

I have my booking in appointment with the midwife soon. Honestly don't know how I can keep it a secret much longer - I'm so bad with keeping secrets so I've just been isolating myself and not seeing anyone in person so as not to arouse suspicion... bit tough but I'm determined to wait till the 12 week scan to say anything.

My mum has come to stay with us so going to find it difficult keeping it a secret. Just wrote a post on it too.

Congratulations to you.

Hi everyone, I’m 6 weeks pregnant sorry not sure if this is the right thread to post on. But I’ve been having discharge like this for the last 3 days, waiting on early pregnancy unit phoning me back, but this is my first baby so everything is totally worrying me. Any advice would be appreciated if anyone else has had similar and things have been fine. Whenever I google says nothing but bad things😭

2020firsttimemum · 05/07/2022 14:15

@Angelagall15
Hey lovely, try not to worry! This is completely normal! Not something I had with my first but I am experiencing with my second. Of course though make sure you get checked if you're worried and keep an eye out for any painful cramping and bleeding. Hope you're okay!xx

7 weeks today and the sickness hit me last night. But that awful sick that tastes like acid because I just can't stomach eating much. I'd eaten a sandwich all day so that came straight back up. Still feeling awful today like I have a constant stomach ache. And I'm so so tired. Haven't gone to work today and unlikely tomorrow too because I feel so poop!

Hope you're all doing okay, we'll get through the first trimester together and hopefully start to feel better soon! 🤍
