So I thought I'd put this thread together so that anyone who hasn't shared their baby news can rant / express their feelings etc so they can get it out and get anything off their chests!

I'll go first..

Due Feb 2023 - second baby

My GOD did I forget about the fatigue and the nausea! And this time I've got a lovely metallic taste in my mouth that won't go away and I can't stomach anything other the beige food! That being said, I feel so so lucky and greatful to be able to do this all over again 🥺
I just can't wait to tell people because I'm excited and feel like sh*t 😂

I'm 9+3 (I think!) 1st pregnancy, complete shock after unexplained infertility for 8 years, and can agree with what everyone is saying! Bloating and nausea, eating little and often is all that stops me being sick, luckily I've not been physically sick since 5 weeks but getting a bit fed up of comments like I'll be huge, always eating etc by family who know I'm pregnant and am doing it or I'll vomit!! Obviously trying to go for healthier snacks but not always what I have to hand. I've had more cramps/pulling twinges past couple of days, hopefully just things stretching. Had my booking in appt on Friday last week and just received my scan letter for the 25th so something to look forward to and can't wait to announce. I have told my parents and some friends but they know to keep quiet since it's early and no guarantees, plus work who need to know as quite a few risks in my job but being looked after well.

@Bunny2006 congratulations! What lovely news after waiting for so long
Unfortunately people will always have an opinion on everything you do in pregnancy so just try to drown it out and do you! You know your body best so just fuel it how you need. My first pregnancy all I ate was sweets and chocolate and anything sweet. This time it's beige bland food when I can stomach anything at all!
Good luck for your scan, it's definitely one of the most exciting / nerve wracking parts! 🤍

Thank you :) Yeah you've just got to do what gets you through the nausea phase!

Oh and congratulations everyone!

Just a quick check in to see how everyone is getting on?!

I'm 9+3 according to my first midwife app. They booked me for bloods as the midwife couldn't get it out at the time
Waiting for the 12 weeks scan now!

The sickness finally got me and I had to pull over quickly the other day and spend 15 mins being sick at the side of the road 🥺🙃
