Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

Hello. I found out last Thursday that I’m pregnant with baby number 2. I have a little girl who was born in February 2021 so they are going to have birthdays extremely close together! My estimated due date is 11th Feb. I would love to join the Facebook group please? Congratulations to you all.

Anyone else having cramping every now and again? I'm 4+5, trying not to overthink every little thing like I did first time round.

I just keep getting little cramps throughout the day

Peonies94 · 07/06/2022 06:54

@RBSK1 yes, getting lots of cramping here! 5+6, I’ve had cramping since just before 4 weeks!

@Peonies94 it's been 2 years since I've been in this position, I've forgot what's normal hahahaha. Weirdly praying for morning sickness so I know I'm still good πŸ˜‚

roarfeckingroarr · 07/06/2022 08:07

Morning everyone,

I have my early scan tomorrow and vomited this morning for the first time. I wasn't sick at all with my son and also had the benefits of pregnancy during lockdown, rather than commuting on the tube in the summer 😩. I know covid was dreadful for so many but it was lovely to wfh full time, nap during the day, not have to deal with actual people / their food.

Does anyone have advice for things to eat when nauseous that aren't ginger biscuits? I don't want any sugar.

Nyxxie · 07/06/2022 08:30

@roarfeckingroarr I'm currently munching on a piece of dry toast which seems to be going down ok 🀞

MamaSJ15 · 07/06/2022 08:45

Update from me this morning, took a CB digital which has increased from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 which is a good sign, still feeling a few cramps but nothing like it was. Phoned the docs to update and they should be calling me back today, hoping they'll send me for a scan for reassurance 🀞 hope everyone else is doing okay!!

ceebee21 · 07/06/2022 09:20

Is anyone booking an early scan?! I don't know when to go for one... I can't remember how far gone I was with my first!

Ohrwurm · 07/06/2022 09:33

@roarfeckingroarr I would snack on salty crackers! Tuc biscuits etc. It helped me with the nausea in my last pregnancy.

That's great news @MamaSJ15 fingers crossed for you!

@ceebee21 I'm going to book one. I am heading back to the UK (I'm from there but don't live there) on Monday then I'm staying for a month (it's been so long since I've properly seen my family). We are all heading on a holiday together while I'm there, so I'll likely go to a private scan after the holiday but while I'm still in the UK, so I'll be in week 9 when I go.

I had a mmc with my first pregnancy, it was natural. DS was the result of our first icsi. As this pregnancy is another natural, I can't help but worry about mmc again although it might seem illogical. I've been doing really well to stay positive but my strong symptoms between week 4-5 have just lessened and sometimes I don't feel pregnant, any symptoms I do have are now so light, I barely notice them, so I'm finding myself worrying today. My gyno appt is Thursday and they'll likely scan me but not sure they'll see much at 5+6. DH has said to me to try and push the worry aside between the two scans (this one on Thursday and the private one in week 9) because it's been three years since I was properly home visiting family / friends and I need to enjoy it despite whatever will happen with this baby. Just got to try stay positive and calm, easier said than done πŸ˜…

@Peonies94 So I was referred to Early Pregnancy Unit over the weekend, had really bad cramping - like proper period pains.
They tried to generate that I'm 9 weeks pregnant, although I know I've only just missed my period, perhaps 5+ days late.

They gave me an ultrasound, said there's no sign of a pregnancy or baby, however my endometrium is thickened and my HCG is 428 from Sunday, they've taken more blood today, needs to increase by 60% and quite honestly feel like I'm going to throw up with anxiety.

They just appear not to be listening to me, as I said my digital BFP are 1-2 and 2-3 weeks, meaning I'm only late 3/early 4 weeks pregnant really, so in my eyes they aren't going to see anything on a scan!!

Good old Google scaring the crap out of me too!!

BanjoVio · 07/06/2022 09:43

@RootsHere I called the hospital to rearrange the scan and they wouldn’t do it at 11+3 so it’s booked for 14 weeks (10th Aug). I’m gutted and DP doesn’t want to book early scan because he somehow feels like it’s cheating. I might try to raise the conversation again in the next week or two. I don’t want two weeks of honeymoon worrying that everything’s ok and the baby is still there. Sigh.

Why are they telling you you are 9 weeks? Did you ovulate late?

managed to get my booking appointment for 2 weeks time where we will discuss scan date as I’m also going on holiday and need it before 12 weeks or I’ll miss the slot

RBSK1 · 07/06/2022 12:05

Just noticed I've had a bit of light pink spotting today, only very very slight but after the cramps I've been having I'm worried.

Literally wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't wearing a liner but still

I'm 4+5, is it normal? Can't remember if I had it with my last one

LiveLaughL0ve · 07/06/2022 12:56

@roarfeckingroarr Rude Health crackers work for me. My DP made me a glass of water with lemon slices yesterday that really helped too. I was struggling to drink anything until I tried that.

runningandrunning · 07/06/2022 13:17

@YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch please could I be sent the Facebook group link?

Went for booking bloods this morning and completely forgot they'd need a urine sample. Had been for a wee just before going to that bloods department so my bladder was empty. Reminder to go to your first appointment with a full bladder! I'll drop my sample in later this week.

MamaSJ15 · 07/06/2022 13:20

@TheElders2014 so they didn't really put your mind at ease then did they? Are you feeling better than you were?

@RBSK1 I didn't have any bleeding or spotting what so ever with my first pregnancy but I've had what seemed like a proper period and a bit more than spotting for the last few days too. I've also had bad cramping so waiting for the docs to hopefully send me for a scan. But I have heard spotting this early on can be quite normal. If it's seems more than spotting then theres no harm calling the docs for reassurance.

IHaveBeenFallingFor30Minutes · 07/06/2022 13:23

Has anyone told work yet? It's so early but I am having to tell my boss because she is a bit of a micro managing nightmare and I need her to back off Confused I am so tired due to waking up at 4am to pee every morning!

MamaSJ15 · 07/06/2022 13:25

@IHaveBeenFallingFor30Minutes I told my boss yesterday, I had to cause I felt awful and was waiting for a doctor's call. I think it's best they know early on anyway personally. I've not told everyone else at work yet though.
