Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

Thank you @Nyxxie. I'm ringing docs on Monday x

YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch · 03/06/2022 23:28

@sunflower25049 sending a message now!

Peonies94 · 04/06/2022 07:16

@SMD16 mine took two weeks from first contact, but it should have only taken one week I just couldn’t make the first date! I know some places say from 6 weeks, but mine didn’t! Congratulations anyways ☺️

@PeachCottonTree congratulations! 17 months here too so totally know how you feel! Felt like forever, right? I just hope everything goes okay now!!

How quickly are you getting your first midwife appointments?

I've been so full of cold since Friday last week. Boobs have now started to get sore and have weird fluttering/ pains down there. I'm also unbelievably tired, glad it's a 4 day weekend because I've napped three times today already!

I haven’t got my midwife appointment here, they don’t want to hear from you until you are at least 6 weeks …
Hopefully that means there won’t be a long wait!

LottieDot · 04/06/2022 09:36

Can I please join? Got my BFP over the past few days, baby number 2 due approx 12th Feb. DS will be almost 2. We're excited but as we've found out so early feel like we can't get too excited yet, I'm wishing time away until I can tell people! I knew I was pregnant from about 7dpo which sounds crazy but I've had lots of symptoms but they keep coming and going.

We'll be booking an early scan for around 8-9weeks so only another 4/5 weeks to wait 😫

Peonies94 · 04/06/2022 10:40

@LottieDot hello! Welcome! What a lovely age gap that will be☺️. Congratulations and good luck!
i know that feeling! I had a really faint line at 8DPO 2 weeks ago, so I’m currently 5 weeks! I have an early scan in 3 weeks, and it feels like forever away!!

Massive Congratulations!
I’ve just had my BFP on Tuesday 31st May, digital is showing as 1-2 weeks, so presuming 3-4 weeks now.
How you guys feeling?

Peonies94 · 04/06/2022 11:50

@TheElders2014 congratulations !!

BanjoVio · 04/06/2022 16:57

@Nyxxie Omg good luck! Are you due 7th/8th Feb too?

@Peonies94 The scan is 28th July at the minute, when I’ll be 12+2, so I’m really hoping they’ll scan me the week before. If I have to wait til I’m home from hols, I’ll be 14 weeks 😩

Peonies94 · 04/06/2022 17:05

@BanjoVio ahh fingers crossed they’ll scan you the week before 🀞

OP posts:
Nyxxie · 04/06/2022 17:36

@BanjoVio the NHS calculator puts my due date at 29th January but I know I ovulated later than CD14 so could be very end of Jan or early February. Im glad I'm not the only one who has my first appointment quite early!

RootsHere · 04/06/2022 19:35

@BanjoVio We’re in an exactly the same situation with the scan dates, I hope they will scan me at 11+3/4, otherwise I’d be 14 weeks. And I don’t really want to go on holiday with my family not knowing if all is well, especially as we’re not doing an early scan. Will see what the midwife says on our appointment on Thursday 🀞

LottieDot · 04/06/2022 19:40

@Peonies94 thank you, we're excited for the age gap but it's also a little scary haha. I think I was 9dpo when we found out so it's been similar here, time goes so slowly! We had lots of early scans with our son as we were really anxious, we're trying to be a bit more chill this time!

@TheElders2014 I got a 1-2 weeks on a digital this morning too. I'm feeling so nauseous, much more than I was in my previous pregnancy. Also getting cramps and back ache which I remember from my 1st pregnancy too although I'm not sure I noticed them this early! How are you?

Peonies94 · 04/06/2022 21:00

@LottieDot totslly can relate! This is our first and I can’t wait for my first scan! I’m going to try not be over the top, but I am already so envious for my first scan! It’s in 3 weeks, going to feel soo long a wait!

OP posts:
crazy4cats · 04/06/2022 21:35

the first few weeks will feel like they take forever! I'm sure the first 12 weeks will feel so slow as I am bursting to tell people but also wanting to know everything is ok - In hindsight I'm sure I will be saying how the time flew by!

My shower thoughts at the moment are definitely how I plan on telling different people! It's going to be a long few weeks!

Peonies94 · 05/06/2022 01:06

@LottieDot anxious I mean!!

@crazy4cats aww I know, how nice will it be when we can tell people? Exciting times!

Yes first scan nerves are definitely kicking in now. Mine is a week on Thursday and I am so anxious, just hoping so much there's a happy little heartbeat in there. Zero symptoms so far so I feel as though it's all just a trick. Going to go for my booking bloods this week but don't think they measure HCG anyway. Pregnancy and parenting is such a rollercoaster. My hubby has been away on a stag all weekend too so no one to talk to but running around after the toddler has taken my mind off things during the day. Not sure when we'll tell people this time as after such a loss last time I'm really conscious about people saying Congratulations and being excited until baby is here safely but I obviously can't hide away the whole pregnancy.

Margo34 · 05/06/2022 07:52

Hello all, congrats to you all for your BFPs. Wishing you all smooth journeys!
I got my BFP just before the BH weekend and I'm trying not to get too excited as I had a traumatic MC at 9w barely a couple of months. Keeping my fingers crossed for this one 🀞

I have a 20m toddler who keeps saying "baby" for no reason which is pretty freaky and part of the reason I tested!

LottieDot · 05/06/2022 08:43

@Margo34 fingers crossed for you! Our little one was also saying Baba a lot randomly which we thought was strange!

FRER looks the same, if not slightly lighter today so I'm trying to prepare myself that this might not work out, will see how tomorrow's test looks 🀞

RBSK1 · 05/06/2022 08:55

@Margo34 our little 20 month old has suddenly taken interest in a doll she's had for 12 months. I took that as my sign to test hahah

Has anyone else regretted finding out over the BH weekend, I feel like if I'd have found out after the BH time would be going much faster rather than feeling like a lifetime πŸ˜‚

FS12 · 05/06/2022 09:03

Hello everyone!

Hope you don't mind me jumping on, got my BFP on 2nd June and due 5th Feb.

Has anyone made a Facebook group for the ladies on this thread? I have a 17 month old and the Facebook group that i'm in for 'Due date January 2021' was invaluable during pregnancy and beyond, I've met some really good friends from it too.

Hope you're all doing okay on this wet morning (well it is here!) X

FS12 · 05/06/2022 09:04

Just realised someone has made a Facebook group!

Please may I have the link πŸ’• I'd love to join.

PeachCottonTree · 05/06/2022 10:35

@Peonies94 thank you! You’re right, it did feel like forever. I’d given up on testing except months my period was several days late. Something just felt different this month to make me test early. Getting a strong positive now even though my period isn’t due until tomorrow. Nervously testing every morning as it still doesn’t feel real yet.

@TheElders2014 & @LottieDot I was also showing as 1-2 weeks on a digital test on Friday and about 4 weeks on apps.

@RBSK1 I’ve enjoyed finding out over the BH weekend as DH is off so we’ve had nice days out together, spent more time with our families too though which makes it hard to hide as I’m no longer drinking endless cups of tea!!

Can I be sent the link for the Facebook group too please?

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, it’s sunny here β˜€οΈ

Margo34 · 05/06/2022 11:06

@RBSK1 @PeachCottonTree I found out on the morning of my oldest friend's wedding! I got a lot of quip about why I wasn't drinking πŸ˜‚ I had a glass of white wine at the table poured for me, thought if I just say yes and pretend to drink that'd put them off the scent but nope! I kept sneaking off to the loos or asking bar staff to pour a bit away for me so my glass was actually getting emptied gradually, just not by my consumption πŸ˜‚

Otherwise glad to have found out just before the BH because each person I see, I can say I'm not drinking today because I had a skinful yesterday πŸ˜‰
