mrshodgy21 · 28/04/2022 18:46

It's was abit lower earlier but just had a bath and hot and flushed now 🤣 x

aesgriff · 28/04/2022 19:28

@Arwen7 thank you I’ll take a look. Feel both excited and nervous all at the same time! What’s it like being a midwife after loss if you don’t mind me asking? I imagine it must be really hard emotionally xx

@mrshodgy21 @Skl2021 I’ve got mine a few weeks but I think we’re going to keep it a secret from everyone else. Everyone is saying boy and usually I’m quite good at guessing scans but haven’t got a clue at all with my own xx

Arwen7 · 28/04/2022 19:38

@aesgriff it’s only been tough immediately after the mcs - like for the first month or so. But I’m so used to it I don’t really get triggered and I love my job so that really helps. Also everyone has been so understanding and I feel I can talk to my bosses about it without worrying.
Worst thing are the 12.5h shifts on my feet - I am absolutely exhausted now and feeling like I’m gonna pass out! Xx

Skl2021 · 28/04/2022 19:47

@aesgriff how far are you now? My scan pics have been terrible this time so it gives me no indication 🙈🤣 xx

SupportNeed · 28/04/2022 20:36

Hello,

BEST news ever - we’re 12 weeks 6 days & everything is fantastic!!!! X

Skl2021 · 28/04/2022 20:39

@SupportNeed amazing news! ❤️❤️

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 20:58

It's okay @aesgriff, I really hope they can help you 🥰 It's so hard not finding out isn't it 😂 We didn't with our first but there's no way I could do that again!!

Ooh do you @Skl2021?! Is that because of the nub? I can't really see what I'm looking for 😆 I'm gonna dig out my son's and see if they're similar! You've made me wonder now! Not that I mind either way ☺️

@mrshodgy21 im saying girl for you!

@SupportNeed congratulations!!! You're exactly the same as me, 12+6 and due on the 4th November wooo!

@Arwen7 you are superwoman for managing 12.5 hour shifts. There's no way I could be doing that right now!

@HoneyLemon29 how are you doing? I was going to message you the other day because I thought something bad had happened!

If anyone else wants to guess whether I'm having a boy or a girl from my scan, please feel free 🙊

Xx

@Cruz86 no I was going off skull theory 🙈 I'm useless at finding nubs! Haha I'm not the best at guessing so don't believe me 🤣🤦 xx

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 21:02

Just off to Google the skull theory, brb 😂 xx

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 28/04/2022 21:04

And big congratulations to you @SupportNeed xx

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 21:06

Yes I've read about the nub theory @Prayingformyrainbow93! I don't think there is one on my scan though 😩 xx

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 28/04/2022 21:07

I’ve always been convinced I’d have a boy, but if they is the numb I can see it’s definitely pointing horizontally??? What does everyone think? Xx

Skl2021 · 28/04/2022 21:16

@Prayingformyrainbow93 I can't see a nub 🤦 were is it?! I'm useless at this! 🤣 Don't know how people find them so easy!Xx

@Cruz86 have u never heard of it?! Probably not even reliable 🤣🤦 xx

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 21:31

I'd be inclined to say girl @Prayingformyrainbow93!

I'd never really read much about it @Skl2021 😂 and if I'm honest, it's just confused me even more now haha xx

OP posts:
Skl2021 · 28/04/2022 21:35

@Cruz86 I'm no expert but the thing I go off is if the skull is flat like the forehead then it's boy and if it's more rounded then it's a girl 🤔 don't know how reliable that is 🤣🙈 but obviously you need a side profile like yours to tell. I can't see a nub on yours either but I can never find them anyway 🤦 xx

Annny27 · 28/04/2022 21:35

@Prayingformyrainbow93 I would say girl!

Been trying to decipher mine too without luck haha

Annny27 · 28/04/2022 21:37

I would say girl for you too @Cruz86

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 28/04/2022 21:48

Well I could be totally wrong here, I didn’t even know these things existed before but my friend just sent me this and is why I’m now thinking girl. Apparently if the “nub” is horizontal - girl, facing upward - boy??
Everybody send their scans! I wonder if it’s a true theory!! I’ve booked a gender scan but it’s not until June! Xx

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 28/04/2022 21:50

That might not even be the nub 🤣 I’m a first timer - literally heard about this an hour ago haha xx

Cruz86 · 28/04/2022 21:51

See I think the head on mine looks quite rounded @Skl2021 😆😆 I'll find out in 3 weeks time 😬

@Annny27 have you posted your scan on here yet? I think girl too actually.

@Prayingformyrainbow93 yes that's what I was looking at on yours! Will circle what I thought was the nub on mine too 😂

Xx
