@larrythelizard jealous of the boob growth, mine have only grown a tiny bit! You're definitely right, only a few months of wearing different clothes!
@Minster2012 we'll probably do that with these drawers too as they have a changeable top! Hahahaa that's so true!! Baggy stuff just makes you feel and look huge doesn't it, but tighter stuff might not be that comfortable! I love Zara anyway so might have to look but sometimes find the dresses are too short on me!
@2020mission I've been giving loads of recommendations and majority of people said the medala one so I think eventually that's the one I'll go for! Thankyou for all the advice I really appreciate it!! I do have a plan in my head but we all know nothing ever goes to plan and I'm not setting my heart on it because I know how hard BF can be and I might not be able to, but ideally I want to exclusively BF for 6 weeks then introduce an expressed bottle so I can have a break and OH can be involved too, and like you I want to make sure I have a few bags in the fridge just in case! Also been thrown a curveball as we have our friends wedding in October and it's a staying overnight job, baby will be around 2 months old so I'm not sure what to do, hopefully baby will be taking expressed bottles so maybe the baby is with us during the day then when it gets to the night do it might have to be a case of my mum picking baby up and then having their first sleepover and I'll just express a lot so they have their bottles through the night, not sure how I'll feel about leaving my 2 month old overnight but I'll see how I feel nearer the time!
@Minster2012 those changing bags look gorgeous!! Thankyou I'll have a browse! My friends got me a beautiful hospital bag for my birthday and it made me cry😂
@2020mission @Kate105 yess I've been looking at the MAM bottles and didnt know whether to just buy them so I had them in just in case! Good idea on the saving counter space! One of my friends said she got a steriliser for her breast pump? But I think I'll leave the steriliser and prep machine until after I've had the baby and see how we go, and just get some powder formula and MAM bottles just in case!
@Kate105 I think I'm going to go for the same routine as you and try and BF for 6 weeks then introduce a bottle! So I've heard of the haakaa but is it basically something to catch excess milk?
@bez91 ohh that's good!! I was looking at the elvie pumps at first but they're extortionate aren't they!! I'll definitely be relying on Amazon prime way too much!! Oh that nursery doesn't seem ideal, especially only being split up by a baby gate, that's crazy!! I've been looking at local nurseries online these last few days and have 2 or 3 I want more info on and to look round eventually!
@Franklydear hahahaha imagine me getting round Lancashire in those outfits, I'd definitely look like a 🍆 any news on your situation? Sorry if I've missed it! Enjoy london!!
@paintfairy Thats definitely a reasonable price, I've seen some people selling them for way too much and they're not even in good condition!! I mainly feel baby movements on my right side and always quite low down but at my 20 week scan baby nestled into my pelvis once I'd had a wee and the woman said it must be their comfortable place so maybe that's why o always feel movements low down! Hope the consultant appointment went well! You've also just reminded me about my whooping cough vaccine I need to book that in, might do it for around 23 weeks, I'm 21 now
@kaylsd you look lovely!! And nice of your manager to say you can drop nights if they're Too much!! Glad you had a nice afternoon tea, it looked delicious!!
@Minster2012 oh god how annoying on the screws!! That would really piss me off😩
@InkyPaper how're you feeling after your first scan lovely?? Luckily I only had a couple days of nausea but found ginger biscuits worked well!!
When did everyone or when is everyone getting their MATB1 form? Do I ask next week when I go for the re scan or shall I wait until my next midwife appointment? Also had to ring the GP to get a fit to fly certificate for when we go away in may, I was going to ask my midwife at my next app which is 3 weeks before we go away but my friends midwife took 4 weeks to get her letter for her so I didn't want to risk leaving it too late!
I had a right mare yesterday, hadn't felt baby move all day and I got really worried so told myself if I hadn't felt them when in bed (baby is more active when I'm led down in bed) then I'd ring today (also another annoying thing I have no way of contacting my midwife, I've seen 2 different ones and been given no contact numbers for either) so got a fizzy drink last night and led on my side, from 10-11:30 this baby was having a right dance😂 definitely made me feel better, but I can't see OH being able to feel baby by the time im 22/23 weeks? The movements still feel so so subtle, I spoke to my friend and she said her OH didn't feel baby until she was 27/28 weeks so that's made me feel better!
Wow that was a mammoth catch up!!!
