@Skl2021 aww did you I'm glad it cleared up for you and hasn't returned 💕 I do get them maybe twice a year so I know the symptoms straight away but I just hope this doesn't mean it'll be something that's consistent throughout 🙏🏻

Am 11 weeks tomorrow and got bright red bleeding when I wipe 😣 Been to GP & midwife who phoned EPU and they won’t scan me as they’ve confirmed it’s not ectopic. Went to A&E and they wouldn’t scan either as EPU said no! Why is this so hard 😥 last scan was Thursday and baby was waving and a heartbeat now this. Just don’t know what to do 😭 xx

@aesgriff I’m so sorry you’re going through the stress & worry of bleeding again 😭 I don’t understand why EPU won’t scan you to check that things are ok. Could you contact the midwife again and say that you’ve got nowhere with EPU and ask for further advice? They may be able to influence things for you. Praying that it’s just another of these things & everything will be ok 🥺🙏🏼 Massive cuddles xxx

@speake midwife phoned and said she’s spoken with EPU too and they’ve said to monitor it ☹️ I’m trying to be positive but I feel so let down and unsupported by EPU. It’s so scary as it’s just getting darker red in colour rather then easing off xx

@aesgriff I'm sorry that sound tough. Is it just a little bit? I know it's anecdotal but I think that's quite common. Do you have any pain? Thinking of you

@aesgriff I'm so sorry, how ridiculous of EPU that's literally what they're there for!? Hopefully it's just a bleed 💕

@aesgriff I’m not surprised you feel that way, it’s really not an acceptable response / level of care. The policy in my area is that if you’re having bleeding for which you require sanitary towels; and you’re having cramping which you need to take pain medication to regulate I.e. paracetamol, that the EPU will see you for a check up / scan.

In the same situation I would probably give them a call later this afternoon (but before they go off for the day) say you’ve been monitoring it all day & it’s getting worse. Emphasise the bleeding & any other symptoms that you have, even if it means exaggerating them a little to make sure they see you. Also make sure you mention ptsd from your previous loss & any details associated with that to make them more inclined to see you I.e. that your experience of bleeding is not good and not just one of these things. Could they look at upping your dose of progesterone etc.

I’m so sorry i can’t really help you but don’t give up and take no for an answer. I don’t think anyone would find that an acceptable response from EPU in this situation so keep pushing! Xxx

@arianasky glad you've been given antibiotics and the cramps aren't anything else! Hope the infection clears up for you soon.

Oh @aesgriff I'm so sorry you're bleeding. EPU sound most unhelpful!! They're meant to be there for us in these early stages and all it seems is that we need to fight for that support 😡 Were there any signs of bleeding on the scan last week? Have you had sex recently? Thinking of you ❤️

@aesgriff so sorry your going through this and they arnt helping 😣 sometimes u have to really make your symptoms worse than they are just to be seen. My epu are the same. Hope you get somewhere 💕 xx

@aesgriff Hope u are ok lovely. Can't believe the EPU. I'd echo others and exaggerate any symptoms if it means you're more likely to be seen by them xx

Happy to say baby is ok. I was sobbing and couldn’t look at the scan. Still bleeding and was expecting the worse but baby had a heartbeat and was wriggling around. No area of bleeding seem through the scan.. Our bodies are both amazing and cruel at the same time. Feel a bit in a daze xx

@Cruz86 no sex recently. Haven’t had sex at all since being pregnant as so worried! Xx

@aesgriff I’m so relieved you’ve managed to see baby and all looks ok, what a day you’ve had 🥺 Our bodies really are so cruel, surely that’s it now that you’ve had to contend with this a few times already in this pregnancy, you deserve a break! 🙏🏼

Hopefully your 12 week scan is within the next couple of weeks too & that’s another opportunity to see baby thriving 💕 xxx

Oh thank goodness for that @aesgriff 🙏🏻🌈 What makes it even harder to accept/understand is the fact that there's no rhyme or reason to why certain things happen. It's so out of our control and that's really hard to live with. I'm so glad baby is none the wiser, having the time of their life in there 😂❤️ I'm the same, haven't had sex since finding out!! Too scared to 🙈 Hope the bleeding calms down for you soon xxx

@aesgriff @Cruz86 I haven’t had sex since conceiving either, not taking any additional risks! Our poor other halves 🙈😂

I have my viability scan tomorrow. Feel sick but guess the fate is already decided so just have to wait and see. Hate those minutes while your waiting to know.

@aesgriff I'm at haven this week with the kids 🙊 so my internet is terrible trying to keep up with everything 🤦 I'm doing ok still a panicky mess having lots of twinges and random pains. Thinking of booking another scan as I can't settle xx
