Navigating pregnancy after loss

Just setting this up so we can move all pregnancy-related stuff from the TTC after miscarriage thread.

Please tag anyone else I have missed, this is as much as my brain can handle 😂

So had my scan they could see the gestational and yolk sac, I'm 7 weeks from LMP but 6+3 from O I'm waiting to see the nurse and schedule another scan but I'm worried it's going to end in miscarriage now 😔 the sonographer was great and said that was completely normal at this stage and said not to worry but so many people see the fatal pole and even heartbeat from 6 weeks, had anyone experienced this?

@arianasky maybe u could be a few days earlier? So more around 6 weeks which would be completely normal. It's good the sonographer wasn't concerned. I know it's hard and we always think the worst but try and stay positive 💞 thinking of you 💓 hoping they can get you back for a scan quickly xxx

@flowergarden16 just that didn't see the fetal pole

@Skl2021 yeah I think that's what it is, I had a absolute breakdown in the waiting room after scan thinking the worse but the nurse and sonographer reassured me everything is fine and as it should be so I feel a bit better now 💕

I meant to say next scan is next Thursday so 10 days to wait, my symptoms are strong which I'm clinging on too 🙏🏻🌈

I totally get it @arianasky but if they embryo looks good and the sonographer has no cause for concerns i would take that as positive.

I know it's so hard with a MC. If you hadn't had one, you'd be walking away super happy through.

@flowergarden16 absolutely that's what I said to DP if I hadn't been through miscarriage I'd be so happy, awful how it affects us, I feel sort of positive though no point thinking the worse and the nurse and sonographer wouldn't be positive if they thought it looked bad 💕🌈

@arianasky I think that sounds totally normal & positive for this stage 🥰 Especially with your symptoms on top too 🙏🏼 Hopefully you can take some reassurance from the sonographer, t-minus 10 days until you see little bean again 💕

@speake thank you so much, I think so too I just had a wobbly 5 minutes straight after the scan. I'm in London Thursday - Sunday this week so that'll keep me busy and hopefully it'll fly by 🤞🏻🙏🏻🌈

@arianasky hey! I'd 💯 go with what the sonographer and nurse said. If they were happy then go with that. I know it's hard but take the reassurance from the professionals that everything is ok xx

@calimc83 thank you I will do, I feel more calm about it now I've had to chance to think it all through 💕

So even though the GP receptionist was a bit arsey this morning, she did put me down for a GP phone call. The GP wanted to see me instantly to examine me. EPU are fully booked today and tomorrow so she's referred me to the gynae registrar who wants to see me ASAP and I'm on my way to the SAU. So scared and I have to go on my own so my husband can look after our son 😭

The pregnancy is in the right place. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🥰 I feel so happy and relieved. The sonographer was pleased it wasn't ectopic and said it was measuring around 5 weeks. I think I ovulated late so it actually adds up to what I thought. I can't stop crying.

We had our scan we are so please we are 11 weeks today this is the furthest we have got roll on 12 week scan next Thursday!

@arianasky I know it's really hard that you have to go back for another scan but it does sound positive from what has been said! And we can never absolutely 100% pinpoint when ovulation is so a little discrepancy is expected. Hope you're feeling okay ❤️

@scoutcat so glad they got you in and the pregnancy is in the right place!! Have they asked you to go back? What a relief 🥰

I've just come out of my scan and I feel so so much better. I'm measuring ahead than I was a couple of weeks ago so 9+3 today! Little bean was so wriggly, kicking their little leg around. It was so lovely to see the placenta is forming and the cord is connected. I just can't believe it 😭
