Is it just me... or anyone else on constant knicker watch 🙈 I'm only 4 weeks 4 days and so anxious and I know it doesn't get much better! Welcome to leakage for the next 8 months right?!
So iv made this thread for us anxious mamas to get each other through please join and make me feel less crazy 😜

@AbbiL0u My husband is going to call our local midwives when they open at ten and see what they say :/ It’ll probably be ‘wait til Monday and call the EPU’ 🤷🏻‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave Oh I hope you get answers soon, it's hellish not knowing. Take care of yourself - sure it's an excuse for lots of rest...?

Turns out they might not be open 🤷🏻‍♀️ My husband left a message but that’s all we can do. I’m hoping for the best but it’s really not looking good now.

@TheBirdintheCave I really hope they get back to you soon and get some answers, it’s horrible :( I hope it disappears for you today and can put your mind at rest until you can speak to someone if not! Really have everything crossed for us both! Mine seems to be getting lighter which I’m not sure is a good sign either :( x

We just went for a big walk and I wiped when I got home and there was nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️ This makes no sense.

@TheBirdintheCave I bled on and off for - actually, no idea how long. (I have no idea how far along I am - scan on the 21st). Still definitely testing positive, last bled for two weeks (quite light) in mid Jan.

@TheBirdintheCave Sorry, what I meant to say was, could be something, could easily be nothing. Very much hope the latter. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

@barneymcgroo I’ll bet you can’t wait til your scan :) I can’t imagine how stressful it must be not knowing how far you are.

Thanks for the reassurance. We got a hold of the EPU and they’ve agreed to scan me on Tuesday when I’ll be 7 weeks. Just have to hope the baby is ok until then.

@TheBirdintheCave Really pleased you have a scan, and that you haven’t had much today - hope you’re feeling a little better?

Lighter in colour and flow, hoping it’s the end of this little bit of worry but every toilet trip is anxious at the minute!

@TheBirdintheCave Thank you - I have moments of worry, but am mostly weirdly fine. Can't obsessively check rates of miscarriage at various weeks etc! I thought I miscarried at the end of Oct, think I tested negative after, but honestly can't remember... So happy to open the sweepstake on wtf is actually happening!

@TheBirdintheCave we sound similar. I'm 8+2 and have my booking appt on Thurs, totally planning in calling MW before then though. I'm so anxious right now. My spotting started Thurs and it was so light, barely there kind. Heavier today (although still light), just disconcerting

@Margo34 It’s so worrying isn’t it :( I’ve read about so many benign things that can cause spotting though and there are lots of positive outcomes so fingers crossed it turns out ok! Definitely contact someone before your appointment as they might offer an early scan like my EPU have.

@AbbiL0u It’s still going 🤦🏻‍♀️ Still only there when I wipe though. Maybe a little more today? It’s hard to tell as I haven’t been obsessively checking today so there’s been more time for it to build up. Tuesday cannot come fast enough. How is yours?

My brown spotting got a little heavier yesterday, and turned red this afternoon, now it's a bleed, 8w3 today. Not heavy, no cramps or clots, just like a light period 😥 Yesterday I was still feeling nauseous and peeing loads! Tomorrow I will call and see what MW suggests but I don't think there is any point going for an early scan now for me, unfortunately. It is different to my last MC, I had so much discomfort, heavy bleeding then. Last time I bled for almost 3 weeks and my cycle was all over the place for a good few months after, too. I'm hoping this time will be an easier and quicker ride. 🤷‍♀️

So sorry to hear that @Margo34 :( They may still want you to have a scan, mine have said to come regardless of what happens.

@Margo34 Oh no I’m so sorry, although I’ve seen posts of that happening to others and everything being okay. I hope you get to have a scan and that everything works out, so much love to you :(

@TheBirdintheCave Same here, still a bit there, I felt more positive today but as the nights gone on I feel really worried again. Good point about going less meaning it might show a bit more. Hope you’re ok :(

@AbbiL0u I was ok this afternoon but now I’m afraid to go through another two nights worrying if I’m going to wake up in pain :/ I wish my scan was tomorrow instead 🤦🏻‍♀️

Definitely, I made the mistake of wearing purple pants and there was some discharge which made it look like blood that was an horrible moment.
I'm 22wks 2 today and still a watcher every time

@TheBirdintheCave not long to wait until your scan now, I really hope it gives you reassurance.

Hoping to speak to the midwife tomorrow to ask what to do too. Haven’t had any this morning but been for a walk and there was some watery brown spotting when I got back :( hope you’ve been okay today?

@AbbiL0u Yep, it’s at 2.50pm so just over 24 hours to go. Work is making the time go quicker than yesterday at least. Spotting is still happening, no better or worse than yesterday. I’ve felt more nauseated today though which I’m pleased about. I just want the spotting to stop x_x I feel like it’s lulling me into a false sense of security now :/

It sounds like yours is lessening at least! :) Do you not have an EPU you can contact?

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure about the EPU and didn’t think to Google. Hope the midwife will give some advice on that :) I’m also nauseous - hope these symptoms mean all will be okay for us?!

Only a few hours to go til our scan now. Our car is still FUBAR so we've had to book a taxi and my poor husband has to take a web of public transport to get back to the house from work in time. He will have been there from 9.30 to 11.30... Totally pointless but nothing else we can do.

My boobs are barely sore at all today (though my nausea is about the same) and it's scaring me. The spotting is still brown but has maybe picked up a little :( I feel like the scales are tipping and not in the direction I want them to go.

@TheBirdintheCave Hope it's all okay, and here for a hand hold if not. X.

@TheBirdintheCave I have absolutely everything crossed for you today - I have seen lots of posts on here about women having spotting for days and everything being okay. It sounds good news it is still brown! Please do let us know how you get on - we are here for you :)

I feel very lucky that my spotting seems to have dropped off, but I had a slightly different type of cramping to what I have been having last night so that worried me. Typically our GP’s phone lines are broke and there’s no other way I can get in touch with them to speak to the midwife! Really hoping they are fixed soon so I can get through. :(

@AbbiL0u Thanks to you too :) I'm so pleased your spotting seems to have stopped, that's really good to hear :) I hope you can manage to get through to the midwife. It is typical that when you need to get through most everything goes wrong!
