Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

@Natalie2304 ahh congrats on your pregnancy lovely! 🥰

And yes the digestion for me is the worst part, I’ve actually made myself sick the last 3 nights in a row and I no that it’s prob the worst you can do but honestly at the end of every night it’s like the food through the day has sat ontop of eachother and ends up in my throat that when I burp a little bit of food comes up so I’ve felt so much better after just bringing it up 😖 I’m hoping this passes soon! Just wishing this first trimester away 🙈💗

sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 11:01

@MiniJc congrats and welcome. I have the same due date as you 😊

xreadytoglow · 25/03/2022 11:07

@Feb85 how was your scan?

Welcome to the new people joining and congratulations 🤍

FizzChick · 25/03/2022 11:43

Hi all👋, just checking in, been lurking for the last few days. My due date is the 19th of November. I already have a 4 year old DS, so I'm hoping I manage to get through this pregnancy ok and produce a sibling for him! Like others have said I'm much more nervous this time round, possibly because of my age (38).

Can I ask those of you who had a big nausea surge around 6 weeks, did it settle again afterwards? I'm coming up on 6 weeks and started throwing up a bit last night and this morning. Please tell me it settles again Grin

Bramblecrumble21 · 25/03/2022 12:07

Hi fizzchick. I have a nearly 4 year old starting school in reception. Is yours in reception or going into it in September? Everyone is different fizzchick. I had some nausea at 5 weeks, then was okay. Then fatigue and nausea frat 7vweeksfor 4 days. Then ok and I'm 8 weeks today and feel great. I've not thrown up and nausea has been mild . textbook is 6-12 weeks nausea though.

FizzChick · 25/03/2022 12:16

Thanks for responding Bramble, you're right, everyone's different and every pregnancy is different. It's such a mysterious business! Hopefully my nausea will wax and wane 🤞.

My DS is due to start school in September, I'm in Ireland so we don't really have reception here. It'll be a lot of change for them, starting school and all going well new sibs arriving in November! I keep picturing myself arriving to collect him from school with new baby in tow, to motivate myself through the rough spells.

For those that have an early scan with Window the Womb ... How long did the appointment last?

sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 13:45

Has anyone had a scan at 6 weeks 1 day please? My scan yesterday showed the gestational sac (I’m 4 weeks 5 days today) and wondering what will see at next scan. Thanks

tigger2022 · 25/03/2022 13:57

@sarahj878 - I had a scan yesterday at 6 weeks and was able to see gestational sac, and the yolk sac, foetal pole, and also the heart pulsing. The baby looked like an engagement ring! This is the zoomed out image (zoomed in was visible and you can see the heart beating, but it's very low focus).

Due November 2022!
sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 14:09

@tigger2022 congratulations, that’s so exciting! Are you well into 6th week or were you exactly 6 weeks yesterday? Really hope we get to see everything we need to see at the next scan, feels like a long wait. I got some blood tests back today and my HCG is more than doubling so am hoping that is a good sign Smile

TheBirdintheCave · 25/03/2022 14:12

@roobearbaby It was about 15 minutes. Pretty quick!

tigger2022 · 25/03/2022 14:23

@sarahj878 I was exactly six weeks... I know what you mean, these past weeks have dragged so much! My next scan is 8w1d already can't wait.

Feb85 · 25/03/2022 14:29

@xreadytoglow aw thank you for asking my scan was amazing we got to see a lovely little picture, heard a beautiful healthy heartbeat and baby is measuring perfectly it made everything feel so much more real and so reassuring

TTCIrishlass · 25/03/2022 14:31

@tigger2022 have you any pics of your 4w 5d scan?

xreadytoglow · 25/03/2022 14:33

@Feb85 brilliant news!! 🥰

sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 15:19

@tigger2022 thanks that’s so good to know! Aw I bet you can’t wait. Are you having private scans?

sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 15:21

@TTCIrishlass it was me who had the 4 week 4 day scan yesterday. They didn’t give me a picture. Are you also having early scan?

roobearbaby · 25/03/2022 15:25

@TheBirdintheCave thank you ❤️

tigger2022 · 25/03/2022 15:35

@sarahj878 yep - I had a private reassurance scan yesterday because I had a lot of pain during Week 4 but none of the departments at the local hospital would help (they turned me away either because I was pregnant, or not pregnant enough!). I also have a standard 8 week scan in 2 weeks with the fertility clinic who I got my treatment through, so that they can discharge me back to the NHS if everything OK.

sarahj878 · 25/03/2022 15:46

@tigger2022 that’s shocking they turned you away! Glad you were able to be seen privately so soon. I had a week of implantation bleeding before I knew I was pregnant so ended up having a scan to check if anything was the matter. Then I tested positive 2 days later but because of my spotting (which has stopped) I had my hcg levels done and they booked me a scan. I’ve got another blood test tomorrow

VickiG85 · 25/03/2022 17:21

Hi all, I’ve been lurking a little in the background and congrats to you all; I’m due in November too and feel so lucky; but is anyone just constantly worrying about miscarriage?
My body was pretty good at telling me something was different a week after conception (helped along by the NHS) but I don’t know if I’m constantly feeling cramping pain, it’s in my head or just wind (sorry)!!
I must be going to the loo to check there isn’t any blood so many times, I’m just paranoid
Is anyone else really struggling…

sarahxdx · 25/03/2022 18:27

I’ve just had my scan 7weeks and 1 day 🥰🥰

Due November 2022!
Circe22 · 25/03/2022 18:40

@Mariemc84 just wanted to say this is exactly me today!

Feel down and generally unhappy , feeling sick pretty much constantly now ( I’m 7 weeks) and a bit guilty too for not feeling excited all the time.

I think we’ve got to really take it easy on ourselves - lots going on with hormones and so many massive changes on the horizon - when I’m thinking clearly I can see that of course I’d be feeling a bit blue.

AnxiousJane · 25/03/2022 19:32

@VickiG85 that's exactly how I feel, I'm so worried something will go wrong, I feel like the days are moving sooo slow. I have an early scan tomorrow so hoping all will be well and that will make my nerves settle a little. Congrats to all who have had scans and all going well. I really hope I'll be joining you tomorrow 🤞 xx

xreadytoglow · 25/03/2022 19:49

Congrats @sarahxdx lovely pic.
