Hello! Thought I'd start this group as it doesn't seem to exist yet and would be good to hear from anyone due in November! I know it's ridiculously early days but it's nice to have other people going through the same thing at the same time ☺️ x

Congratulations @xreadytoglow sounds perfect ❤️

Cocobeau · 24/03/2022 15:15

@tigger2022 sorry you're feeling the same things, although it is a comfort to know I'm not on my own. I feel so guilty thinking about regret when some people would do anything for this. I also feel like you, like I'm not even pregnant - just run down. My hope is when I have my first scan and get to see a hopefully healthy life growing then things will feel better.
Good luck with your scan!!

Blue2020 · 24/03/2022 15:21

@xreadytoglow was it an abdominal scan or internal?

TTCIrishlass · 24/03/2022 16:18

I guess I might be joining this group...don't want to get hopes up though. Had what I thought was a period at weekend. Tested right before and negative. Then had a really early ovulation peak so took a frer and was positive at 18dpo. If I am I'll be 22nd nov I think. Fingers crossed dolls x

detachablehoof · 24/03/2022 16:24

Been lurking on here for the last few weeks Smile I am 7.5 weeks pregnant, EDD 6th November.
I've had a bit of a rough week.... had a stomach bug at the weekend and was sick an awful lot. That seems to have subsided back to my 'normal' levels of morning sickness and I now feel nauseous pretty much all day and I'm usually sick once ish. Anyway - last night I started with a sore throat and cough.... today I feel awful. Shivery, dizzy, achy Sad and I am not sure what to do. Probably going to have to send my toddler to my parents house as I just can't physically do a thing for her. I've taken a LFT but it was negative. Managed to swallow one paracetamol without bringing it back up but now I feel so sick I can't face trying to swallow another! Sorry for the moan, I'm feeling pretty pathetic Sad what would you do in my circumstances?

Chellooo · 24/03/2022 16:34

Just requested to join the fb group 🤞
My god I'm soo soo sick today. Came out of nowhere...the room just started spinning suddenly then I was pretty much stuck vomiting for the next hour....horrendous!!!
Don't know how I'll cope with this for 8 months😭

xreadytoglow · 24/03/2022 17:02

@Emailer2511 @Overlyanxious thank you ❤️

@Blue2020 it was internal.

@detachablehoof I feel your pain - I've had to go off work today because I feel rotten - sore throat, coughing and even more tired. Thought it could be covid but all my tests so far have been negative. Apparently it's quite common to feel unwell in early pregnancy though as our immune systems weaken!
MiniJc · 24/03/2022 17:43

Hi everyone! Room for one more?! :) I've been hanging around a few days and would love to join you ladies. I'm 4w4d pregnant, due on 27th November. Congratulations to everyone, hope you are all doing well! Looking forward to sharing our journey's and getting to know everyone Xx

Tuesdaysgirl · 24/03/2022 19:29

Hiya, late joiner here, got a bfp this week and think I am due around 18th Nov

This is a surprise third for me!

Cheetocat · 24/03/2022 19:40

Welcome in @Tuesdaysgirl*@MiniJc and @detachablehoof* and congratulations!

I'm 7+2 and just so happy to have made it this far already, we've wanted a baby for so long, it doesn't feel real!

Also, I really like the What To Expect app, I've installed it on my fiancé's tablet so he can keep track too, it tells him the size of baby by comparing them to movie props! 7 weeks is the red pill from The Matrix Grin

fuckwhatshouldido · 24/03/2022 20:20

Hello all,
Finally posting on here having dipped in and out til now. Am 6w ish and due mid nov sometime - 16/17th I think.

Very much unplanned pregnancy - I have 3DC with exH and new DP has 3 with his ex so this is number 4 for us both but number 7 altogether 🙈 we don’t live together (only split with our respective exes last year) and have only been together about 7 months. So it’s all a bit crazy and I’ve no idea how the logistics will work, but here we are - this baby’s on the way now so it’ll work out one way or another. Helpfully I feel absolutely fine and barely pregnant so I think I’m a little bit in denial still - I really thought the baby stage of my life was done forever (mine are 9, 5 and nearly 4 and exH had the snip after #3 🙈) can’t imagine going back to it again!

Welcome and congratulations, this new baby will have six siblings to love them! I think that's very sweet! I'm 29 and having my first. Blush
Tuesdaysgirl · 24/03/2022 21:46

Congratulations @fuckwhatshouldido ! I know exactly what you mean about not being sure how to do it all again - I’ve forgotten so much and keep googling really basic stuff Grin

Also, we got rid of all our baby stuff. I mean EVERYTHING. So I think I’m gonna see what my friends still have stored up that I can borrow!

tigger2022 · 24/03/2022 22:19

I saw them for the first time this evening!! Early reassurance scan. I'm a complete mess. Their little heart was beating...

It's starting to feel real! Shock

fuckwhatshouldido · 24/03/2022 22:28

@Tuesdaysgirl same - think I’ve got the sling knocking around still and I kept a couple of bags of outfits that I couldn’t bear to part with but other than that I’ve got absolutely nothing! It’s weirdly reassuring to have people in the same boat (ie unplanned pregnancies!) all my 3 were planned and wanted and I’m still pretty ambivalent this time tbh. Every so often I get excited but mostly I flip between ‘how the bloody hell is this going to work then’ and ‘oh god I must be mad’ 😅

fuckwhatshouldido · 24/03/2022 22:29

@tigger2022 congrats and glad all was well! Definitely makes it so much more real when you see them for the first time ❤️ sounds like a lovely experience!

Tuesdaysgirl · 24/03/2022 22:52

Clothes and a sling is a definite start! Actually I’ve just remembered that you get a baby box up here now (Scotland) so that’s something.

Cheetocat · 24/03/2022 23:14

I think the baby box concept is so cool! I might order one, though apparently there's an issue with things not being approved as sleep safe if they don't have feet/legs now. Do you think you all will put baby straight in a cot or uses a moses basket or something similar at first? Also how do you stop your cats from sitting on the baby? Grin

Motherofpugs · 25/03/2022 05:41

@tigger2022 aw congratulations, so exciting!

Tuesdaysgirl · 25/03/2022 07:09

@Cheetocat definitely a Moses basket, it’s much handier for naps around the house when you need to be there. At night I’ll be co-sleeping.

My cat was definitely interested in the babies and liked to be with them but never tried to get on them. My main worry is now we have a massive clumsy dog - that plus an eventually crawling baby seems like a bad combo!

onelostsoulswimminginafishbowl · 25/03/2022 07:58

🙋‍♀️ Hi all! My flo app is giving me a due date of 1st of December but I have tried a couple of other sites and they say the 25th Nov so I will go with that!

I've been trying to conceive for 2 years and was due to start letrozole this month but my period never started 😁 I tested on Monday in a bar as I was about to order my second cider and thought I should make sure, according to my app I am 5 weeks today. I am in NZ so will be awake when most of you are asleep!

I am 38 and this is my first. Wishing us all a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Mariemc84 · 25/03/2022 08:32

Hey lovely ladies, hope you’re all doing well this is my first mumsnet post so please be kind 💗

So I’m due 14th November, this is my second pregnancy, last pregnancy ended in misscarriage last year at 11 weeks, me and my partner are so happy to be pregnant again.

But basically I feel like absolute shit, sickness, food not digesting properly makes me scared to eat and all in all a bit down in the dumps, anyone else due around the same time as me and having similar symptoms? Will be nice to feel I’m not alone xx

Natalie2304 · 25/03/2022 10:19

@Mariemc84 Hi and welcome to the group 🥰
I am due around 4 days after you and I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I'm having slight waves of nausea but I've been having awful digestion problems for well over a week now so I completely understand how you're feeling. Hope you feel better soon xx
