Just the above really. 4 weeks Pg- meant to get AF tomorrow; I still am struggling to believe I will get past 7 weeks. That's the longest the little bean has lasted recently. I have a beautiful DS who is 2 but I have had 3 MC lasting no longer than 7 weeks in the last year. Hand holds please mums. Will I be ok 😔
These are my tests just today. Yes a serial tester. Do not judge 😂

Here you go! Flowers

Justyouwaitandseeagain · 22/02/2022 23:27

Sorry not sure if my message came across properly... I meant here is a hand! You can do this. We are here for you Flowers

Nostrings457 · 22/02/2022 23:28

Wonderful news, Flowers your worries are justifiable. No one can say for certain things will be okay, you’ve had a terrible experience but unless there are medical reasons, there is no reason why you can’t go full term.

Wishing you all the luck & best wishes for a safe, healthy pregnancy

Hairyfriend · 22/02/2022 23:32

Congrats OP Flowers

I would be asking your local EPU for a viability scan- especially due to having 3 MC's. My EPU said that if I get pregnant again, they would gladly do a viability scan at 7-8weeks. I too have had 3 MC's, no children though and TTC 11yrs now.

Have you had investigations as to why you've had 3 MC's? Have they recommended progesterone? Best of luck this time op.

God you're all so lovely. Thankyou all so much.

I haven't had an investigations into why I keep MC. If it happens again this time (god forbid) I think I'll be a bit forceful and ask for a bit of a delve into why it's happening.

I'm praying for a miracle tonight that I don't wake up to blood clots and soaked sheets ☹️

You're all such lovely kind people for commenting. ❤️

Congratulations! Sending you all the luck in the world Flowers

Congrats on the positive tests! Maybe you could immediately start taking 75mg aspirin (no need for a prescription) since it seems to help so many women who have had multiple miscarriages, and can't harm anything. It's working for me!

And if you are in a position to get progesterone pessaries prescribed, again, could help and won't harm. I'm on them (well, was on them until 14 weeks) too. If no joy with getting a prescription then order some progesterone cream off the internet.

ExhaustedMumma · 23/02/2022 05:33

This is good advice above. I’d be contacting the GP and/or your local EPAU to see if anyone will give you progesterone.
Aspirin was also a game changer for me. Best of luck. Definitely seek out investigations. GP can do the general tests e.g thyroid. They should also refer you to a recurrent miscarriage clinic for more investigations.

I had four miscarriages but have two children now.

Rtmhwales · 23/02/2022 05:50

Praying for a miracle for you too as I'm in a similar position but no positive test yet. I've heard amazing success stories so will stay positive for you.

EllieJai44 · 23/02/2022 07:02

Another vote for 75mg Asprin, you can buy it at most supermarkets or home bargains etc

I took it when I got pregnant after my 3rd miscarriage and now have a healthy 1 year old, also pregnant again and been taking it and am 11and half weeks along

Can't say it was that for certain but it's the only thing I changed!

dairymilkbuttons · 23/02/2022 12:09

Thankyou all so much. Started taking aspirin this morning. Think I'm gonna swerve the progesterone though as heard different things about it xxx

CurbsideProphet · 23/02/2022 13:16

Tommy's have some really good advice on their website for pregnancy after miscarriage. It would be better to read their advice over anything else on the internet IMHO.

@dairymilkbuttons Hi op congratulations I had 3 miscarriages and then they put me on aspirin and i had my little girl. I got dull aching cramps early on and they were scary because I'd had miscarriages but I'd had them with my first child too and everything was fine

dairymilkbuttons · 23/02/2022 20:21

@Tittyfilarious81 that's really reassuring Thankyou. I have a hot water bottle and am trying to relax. It's just a dull ache and in my legs a bit. I'm praying this isn't MC number 4.

CurbsideProphet · 23/02/2022 21:50

Handholding @dairymilkbuttons 💐 I've been having spotting and have been at peak anxiety after 2 previous miscarriages. I'm just taking it minute at a time which is better for my anxiety, literally "at this moment all evidence suggest everything is ok".

Gamechanger2019 · 23/02/2022 22:04

Progesterone worked wonders for me, I had 2 MCs and I’m now 35 weeks pregnant. Best of luck xxx

jackstini · 23/02/2022 22:09

Fingers crossed for you - very strong positives there

Tittyfilarious81 · 25/02/2022 13:55
