Just the above really. 4 weeks Pg- meant to get AF tomorrow; I still am struggling to believe I will get past 7 weeks. That's the longest the little bean has lasted recently. I have a beautiful DS who is 2 but I have had 3 MC lasting no longer than 7 weeks in the last year. Hand holds please mums. Will I be ok 😔
These are my tests just today. Yes a serial tester. Do not judge 😂

Please shake me. 3 MC and I still won't believe it

Luck, and another vote for baby aspirin, although I'm still terrified at fourteen weeks

dairymilkbuttons · 25/02/2022 14:36

Just had a scan. She could only see a gestational sack and nothing else in it yet. Thinks I'm a bit less than 5 weeks. Is this ok? I'm feeling so anxious

Yes. Your so early and baby is the size of a grain of sand. It will be so hard to see much at this point.

Also you could be even earlier than you think as you'd be dating from LMP at the point. That doesn't take into account when you ovulate or implant.

Have everything crossed this on is sticky for you.

dairymilkbuttons · 25/02/2022 14:53

@Twizbe but there wasn't even a yolk sac?

At this point that just might be too hard to see. Everything they are looking at is very very small.

danni0509 · 25/02/2022 15:46

@dairymilkbuttons my ds was my fourth pregnancy but my first live birth. It will happen. Flowers

Regarding only seeing the yolk sac, completely normal for as early as you are. I had lots of early scans with ds (ivf pregnancy) it’s all they see with him initially.

danni0509 · 25/02/2022 15:47

Sorry I misread, gestational sac.

Tittyfilarious81 · 25/02/2022 16:14

@dairymilkbuttons they could only see a gestational sac when I was around 5 weeks too

dairymilkbuttons · 25/02/2022 17:33

That's good to know. It's so scary. She didn't give me much reassurance she just said there's a sac so it's a pregnancy of unknown location

It’s been 10 years since I had all this now so my memory with it all isn’t as fresh..
but I’ve had 2 pregnancies of unknown location. (Positive test, hcg rising on bloods, nothing at all seen on a ultrasound, just a thick uterine lining) but I had ectopic pregnancies both times so there was no sac or anything to see as it was in my Fallopian tubes.

If they’ve seen your gestational sac, that’s not PUL.

You’ll just likely be too early to detect the yolk sac. Maybe you misheard her? Or she wasn’t very good at explaining?

dairymilkbuttons · 25/02/2022 22:00

@danni0509 sorry to hear about what happened to you. Hugs. Thanks
She definitely said that it was PUL until they can see HCG in my blood and then they xan call it a pregnancy sac. She said it's hospital protocol Hmm

Congratulations! Another vote here for baby aspirin, I had 2 miscarriages, then my daughter (took aspirin from conception onwards) , another miscarriage (wasn't taking the aspirin) then my son (took aspirin from conception onwards).

I think it's very normal to not see much on a scan at that stage, it doesn't mean anything's wrong xx

blondieee · 26/02/2022 08:54

Congratulations on your BFP Smile when I was pregnant with my DS I had a scan around 5 weeks and they couldn't see anything at all except a 'thickened lining' I had to wait a week and go back and then we saw him about 6 weeks with his little heartbeat flickering ☺️ so thinks it's normal not to see much before 6 weeks xxx

dairymilkbuttons · 26/02/2022 12:05

Thankyou @blondieee
I've just had a blood test and having a repeat on Monday. Xx

Wishing you all the best OP!

If you do have any further investigations in future please ask for cyclogest - I had multiple miscarriages all around 7 weeks and after doing my own research and being prescribed the above my next pregnancy was successful.

Keeping everything crossed for you! X

dairymilkbuttons · 26/02/2022 12:13

@ElleGB oooh I'll keep that in mind. I'm praying things are ok with this pregnancy though. If not I will be kick starting proper investigations into why I keep falling but not sticking. Xx
