I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and found today tiring! I have just placed some chicken nuggets into the oven for my little boy and instructed my husband to buy himself a ready meal on the way home. Are you having a boy or girl op? We are having a surprise due mid March.

Oh wow! How exciting! How are you feeling, nervous? Was your first late? How did you find his labour? We're expecting a girl! Having an induction so I'm assuming it will be about 38-39 weeks? Feeling excited yet nervous! Xx

Due date twin! 35 weeks today as well, and done. So very done. Can't believe there can be anywhere between 2-7 weeks still to go.

Though I am not adverse to having a fizzy pop. Wink

38+2, elcs in two days and literally counting the hours to never being pregnant again...ever!

Easterbunnyiswindowshopping · 20/02/2022 18:36

Ah twins! How are you feeling? Are you having a c section or hoping you'll go natural? I'm getting induced as she's measuring ahead 🤣😳 xx

@Readytopop2022x

I'm a mixture of nerves and excitement. It's going to be SO weird (and a bit sad!) not having a bump anymore but amazing having another ickle baby!

My first was one week late but it was a positive birth experience and I managed to stay at home for loads of it. Spent the last couple of hours in the labour ward pool on gas and air shouting at everyone.

Congratulations on your little girl, is she your first baby?

HotMummaSummer · 20/02/2022 20:06

I'm 36 weeks and feeling super tired now! My husband has been great doing early wake ups and bedtime with DD (18months).
I've definitely been having some Braxton Hicks the past few days. Anyone else?
We've just got a new washing machine and dryer so tomorrow's plans are wash and pack everything for my birth bag and wash all of baby's clothes. I'll definitely feel better once those two tasks are ticked off!!

mrscotton · 20/02/2022 20:15

Im 37+1 and so tired all the time. Only finished work 2 days ago so hoping for a few easy weeks before little one arrives.

Need to wash all the clothes, bedding etc and pack babys hospital bag this week 😍

So uncomfortable, got half term next week and I promised my little boy we'd do lots but I'm not sure where I'll get the energy from!

Had a few signs so hoping she does come early but knowing my luck she won't!

35 weeks today too bad so over it! I’m carrying all at the front so feel massive for my petite frame. We can do this 🙌🏼

Wow you're so lucky you managed to stay at home for a majority! I've been advised to do this if I end up going before I get induced! Yes this is our first, we're so excited/nervous!!!!

I'm not sure if I've been having braxton hicks as such. What do yours feel like? I have nothing to compare, but minds feel like mild-moderate period cramps for a few minutes then disappear? X

Ah how exciting💕 I finish up this Friday! We wanted all the clothes a few weeks ago and her bag is packed. Just need to do the bedding, finish setting up the Moses basket and next to me and pack my bag! Getting so real now! Xx

Ah your due date is the same as me! I'm so tired too! I'm quite curvy but usually fit as I'm a massive gym goer (was🤣gave up a few months ago) so I'm just all bump too! Feel massive! Xx

@Readytopop2022x

I really didn't find the first bit of labour that bad at all. I spent the first 4 hours up in the morning on my own genuinely wondering if I was even in labour at all! Then things gradually got more intense but still ok and we went into hospital after I'd laboured at home for around 14 hours. They tried to send us straight home but then when they realised I was 5cm they soon changed their tune and got us into a room! He was born a few hours after that. I got the birthing pool and had gas and air for the last couple of hours. I did find the last 2 hours very difficult but the feeling afterwards when I got to hold ds was absolutely incredible and the best moment of my entire life. I can't believe I've got it all to come again soon! Good luck op, you really will be ok. Smile

HW1989 · 21/02/2022 10:59

I’m only 34+2 and feel huge and ready to pop! I am very petite though with a baby measuring big and carrying all at the front so my back aches so easily and PGP has just kicked in. Obviously hope baby stays in there a few more weeks but I am certainly hoping I don’t go two weeks overdue!

firstimemamma · 21/02/2022 11:01

@Readytopop2022x p.s. pack olive oil in your hospital bag and if possible (appreciate not always possible!!) put a little bit on baby's bum before she does her first poo. Makes cleaning the first poo off her bum a million times easier!

You're an absolute rock star! 14 hours? Wow. It makes me excited/nervous! Will also pack the oil! Thank you so much! They'll be here before we know it and this was all be a distant memory! Xx

Aw so is mines, did you get tested for gestational diabetes? I did! Turns out I have it but it's very mild. Don't need any treatment. Just need to test my glucose levels and be careful! Hopefully we don't give birth to 12lb babies! Ouch! Haha xx
