Bleeding 5 weeks anyone had experience?

Hi i wonder if anyone can helping? I'm around 5 weeks pregnant, found out last week. I've just gone to the loo and there was some pinky discharge/blood when I wiped. I put some loo roll down there as I needed to take my son to bed and when I went back to the loo there was red blood on the loo roll. There's only small amounts of red blood when I'm wiping but I'm worried its a miscarriage. Not sure if I just wait it out and see if it gets worse or if I call the early pregnancy unit? Didn't have any bleeding at all with my first so this is all new to me. Any help would be much appreciated!

@milliemd I'm in the exact same situation as u! Hospital gave me the same diagnosis (pregnancy of unknown location) They offered me the injection but I couldn't take it unless I knew for sure I was ectopic! I'm holding out & praying for a miracle! I've slow rising hcg levels, they couldn't see anything on scan last week I'm back this weds for more bloods & another scan

@Morag202287 are your tests getting darker ? My tests started to get lighter after 5 weeks. Fingers crossed you are one of the lucky ones.

@newmumtobe89 I had an ectopic last year and I had the same it dragged out for weeks, slow rising hcg and bleeding were my only symptoms. They finally seen it in my tube on a scan at 7/8 weeks and I had an operation.
However I know some peoples hcg can be slow and then catch up

@FreckledMouse that's my fear that I'm ectopic tho no pain just bleeding & low hcg! Nothing visible on scan last week holding out until they see something somewhere or my hcg levels drop

@newmumtobe89 I never had any pain at all, not even the day they operated and they said my tube had almost burst ! My hcg never dropped either, continued to rise just really slowly.
BUT it might not be negative, today you are pregnant, and try and enjoy it ♥️ stranger things have happened then a baby showing up late.

Hey @newmumtobe89 I have everything crossed for you!
I have just had another scan at the hospital and they could see the gestation sack on Friday but can't see it today so I believe I'm miscarrying.
I am still confirmed as 'PUL' and have had bloods taken today - I have another blood test on Wednesday and hopefully we'll see they are dropping as if they rising it could mean ectopic.
I really hope you have a more positive outcome xxx

Still nothing visible on scan, hcg levels have only slightly risen in 1 week! They have me back again in 1 week for more bloods & scan! Still no answers 🤦🏼‍♀️

Looking for a bit of reassurance.
I think I’m roughly 5 and a half weeks pregnant. This will be baby number 5 and I have never experienced this before. I started spotting, a pink colour when I wiped.
I did another test because I had one in the draw and the clear blue does say pregnant 3+ so I’m taking that as a good sign. it was Only when i
wiped once but it’s scared the life out of me. I am off to the epu tomorrow but please tell me some good news story’s. I know bleeding can be common in early pregnancy but this isn’t something I have ever experienced and iv convinced myself there is something wrong 😑

I think it’s going to be a long night 😭😴

Hi @Mumofboys12 just wanted to reassure you, I am the original poster and am currently 34 weeks so all went well for me, I had more that just pink when wiping too. They think it was implantation bleeding and said you don't necessarily get it with every pregnancy. Finger crossed for you!x

Thankyou for replying, im off to early pregnancy at 1 so I have everything crossed. Feeling so sad and nervous though I can't shake it. Hopefully everything will be ok. I'm so happy everything turned out well for you! Xxx
