Hi all,

I've just had my first BFP and am due middle September 2022, this is my first baby - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 29 and have PCOS

Is anyone else due in September? How are you feeling?
@Jenna240 thank you so much. On the week I had the kind of spotting I did test and it was negative, I never tested again as I was just waiting for my next period, i then took a random test on 23rd of January and it was positive, I honestly have no idea how far on I am. Really worried for this scan today, I know it's normal not to see anything early on but it's so nerve wracking xx
I was so nervous at mine. I was drip white and felt so sick! I didn't have a clue how far I was but I knew I definitely wasn't 10 weeks. We could only see the sac and was told it was a single living intrauterine pregnancy. Just hoping all is OK at my next one x

ljm1x · 28/01/2022 09:29

@Jenna240 that's how I feel just now and it's not til much later on tonight 😩 praying all day everything is okay and we see something at least. Praying everything is okay for you too at your next one xx

Pepperlypue · 28/01/2022 09:35

@FirstTimeBabyMum no symptoms here really. Occasionally feel sick on an evening, im very aware of my nipples 😂 but my boobs aren't that painful. Slight cramping which is terrifying me!

5 weeks today. I'm celebrating all the small steps, like 'yay I've made it another day'.

I have an 8 year old too so I can't remember anything about that pregnancy or newborn era.

Hope everyone is well!

Tisfortired · 28/01/2022 13:17

Hi all, please can I hesitantly join? 5+6 today after 2 previous losses and trying for 5 years. Have an 8 year old DS.

I went for an early scan on Wednesday at 5+6 to confirm a uterine pregnancy before progesterone was prescribed and only the gestational sac was seen and the sonographer mentioned the pregnancy looked more like 4 weeks, so naturally I am now going mad and regret having the scan really as I have no pain or bleeding and would have been none the wiser! Have another scan on 9th Feb to check progress, fingers crossed.

Due date is 25th sept all being well, no symptoms other than rather sore boobs that come and go. Good luck to us all Smile

Tisfortired · 28/01/2022 13:18

@Pepperlypue just seen your post about also having an 8 year old, we are also about the same weeks along Smile

Purplerain1144 · 28/01/2022 13:26

Hi yes I'm due around middle of Sept. I have PCOS so thought it was going to take ages! Actually found out from my pre referral to fertility bloods so a bit of a shock. Feeling sicky if I don't eat every couple of hours and completely gone off tea and coffee. My boss and both sets of parents know as well as 2 best friends! Private scan on Monday 🤞 hope everyone else is well!

IzzyLeigh · 28/01/2022 14:20

Hi everyone! Can I join too? I'm 33 and officially 6 weeks today Smile
I had some spotting over the past week that had me really, really worried, but it seems to have slowed down (maybe even stopped!), so I'm feeling a bit better and am allowing myself to maaayybbee get a smidge excited again Hmm
Beyond the spotting, I've just been peeing more and have had really achy boobs. Anyone else finding that they're more achy at night?

FirstTimeBabyMum · 28/01/2022 15:10

@IzzyLeigh I'm exactly the same with the boobs I have to wear a sports bra to bed recently to keep them in one place and stop hurting 🤣

@FirstTimeBabyMum does that help!? I hadn't considered that! I would have thought the compression all night would make it worse?

FirstTimeBabyMum · 28/01/2022 16:36

@IzzyLeigh it helps me as I move a lot during night x

I went for my scan there and the sonographer couldn't see anything on screen, it was just a scan on my tummy rather than internal, she said I have thickened endometrium but no obvious gestation sac, she said this could be because it's just too early, has anyone else had this ? X

Pepperlypue · 29/01/2022 23:43

@Tisfortired I'm 5+1 today & due on the 30th sept (unless they change my dates)
4 years ttc & 2 losses so we're definitely close in our journeys also!

Hopefully your scan will be perfectly fine the next time you go and it's just too early to see much!
My first one is Feb 7th when I'll be 6+3 so I'm really hoping it's a positive outcome and I can see a heartbeat. I'm just so scared all the time at the minute!

Tisfortired · 30/01/2022 09:01

@Pepperlypue very similar journeys!

I know what you mean about being scared. I wish I could relax but it’s so difficult. To make things worse I have had a tiny amount of pink spotting yesterday and this morning Sad trying to convince myself it’s just the common early preg spotting but this is exactly how my last losses started so I’m not hopeful.

Pepperlypue · 30/01/2022 21:42

@Tisfortired fingers crossed its nothing! Xx

Purplerain1144 · 31/01/2022 12:46

Is anyone else hungry like every 1-2 hours?? I'm so worried I'm going to get huge!

Glitterygreen · 31/01/2022 12:50

Yessss this is me! Getting hungry much quicker, but to the point where it feels like I haven't eaten for hours. Also feel (low level) nauseous whenever it's been too long since I've eaten as well.
WhatTheEll · 31/01/2022 18:53

@Purplerain1144 Yes! Oh my god. I find if I eat, I'm hungrier afterwards, which doesn't make any sense! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Purplerain1144 · 31/01/2022 20:21

To a tee this is me!!

FirstTimeBabyMum · 01/02/2022 13:05

Got my first midwife appointment today? What should I expect?

Pepperlypue · 01/02/2022 20:10

@FirstTimeBabyMum how did it go? Its probably all changed since I had my son but it was just bloods, estimated due date & family history as far as I remember x

FirstTimeBabyMum · 01/02/2022 20:23

@Pepperlypue was just like you said but thought I was 6 weeks and got dated at 7+6 lol x

Pepperlypue · 03/02/2022 11:16

@FirstTimeBabyMum oh interesting! I'd be so baffled lol

My first scan is next week when I'll be 6+3 and im so frightened of them saying I'm less than that x

MiloDND16 · 03/02/2022 12:47

Hi ladies
Can I join too? I'm just over 8 weeks and had first BFP quite early - Jan 6th - as I was already having symptoms.
Had a scan at EPU as I've had two previous losses and had a bit of abdominal pain... Plus I'm a complete stresshead! Thankfully all good with heartbeat of 142.
Have had symptoms even before testing - fatigue (improved since I got a really good prenatal vit), sore boobs and pretty intense nausea but thankfully only thrown up a few times. Anyone else find their morning sickness comes and goes? I can barely get out of bed one day and then just mild nausea the next...
And of course i freak out every time there's a change!

Good luck all

FirstTimeBabyMum · 04/02/2022 18:10

I've been really bad with sickness today 🥺 trying to explain to your partner how you see is so hard, I've had a bit of an emotional day feeling so low 😩
