Hi ladies,

I'm currently 5 weeks 4 days.

Due to multiple pregnancy loses plus a ruptured ectopic I was given a super early scan yesterday to make sure I wasn't having another ectopic.

Seen the gestational sac and yolk sac ❤️ doctor seemed happy so just looking for some other ladies who are at a similar or same stage as me ? So we can freak out together !!

I have a scan on Friday with the EPU ( from conception date I will be 6 weeks exactly)

I’m a bit behind you, I’m 3 weeks 4 days and first pregnancy and I know full well I’ll be stressing a lot in the run up to my first scan

Hi ! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Sore boobs ! Vivid dreams, fatigue are pretty much all I have, which is similar to what I had when I was pregnant 4 years ago with my daughter !

I hate this stage where time seems to crawl ! Especially in the early days when so much can go wrong !

I'm trying not to Google too much and worry about every pain, twinge and random feelings but it's kinda hard !!

Weirdly enough hubby and I were in the process of starting IVF ! I'm going to wait until I see if there is a foetal heartbeat on Friday before contacting the IVf clinic to cancel our next appointment !

Oh wow that’s fab that it happened just before your appointment.

Urgh totally Google is so bad I’m constantly on it when I know I shouldn’t be.

Same here really sore boobs which I’ve never had, headaches, bloating, vivid dreams which are so random 🤣 and nausea oh my goodness the nausea, I’m hoping that doesn’t get worse!

How are you feeling after you’ve had a early scan? Do you feel a little bit reassured?

So my reasoning....
According to NHS due date calculator
My LMP was on 19th December, I've recently had quite a short cycle ( last one being 23 days) so out that in and it came up saying I was 6 weeks today.
Scan showed a gestational sac and a yolk sac ( which is good as it confirms that something is there)
When I put in conception date ( I ovulated on 31sr December) it says I'm 5 weeks 4 days which is in line with what would be seen on the scan I had.

I'm trying not to read too much in to it.

I've updated my pregnancy app so today I'm 5 weeks 4 days.

I just really really really hope that I see a heartbeat on Friday !! Once the heartbeat is there then at least my odds for MC go down significantly!!

That’s only a couple of days try not too worry too much about it, easier said than done I know.

So you have a couple of days before you can breathe slightly, I really hope you get to see a little heartbeat on Friday, I’ll be thinking about you.

I’m unsure what day I actually ovulated, I done OPKs but I had two peak days and when I got my BFP I was only 9dpo and the line was very dark and came up straight away

I've had such a shit night !
Didn't get to sleep until 4am as my mind was doing overtime !
I haven't had any cramps during this pregnancy yet ( other than a few twinges here and there) had a massive 💩 cramp this morning ( sorry tmi) and last night I saw some discharge which had a very very light beige colour to it 😢😢 wish it was Friday already !!

This wait is soul destroying ! I'm very much a person that if I know what is happening I can deal with it ( good or bad) and I feel like time is dragging.....

I'm probably being ridiculous! But with so many losses I'm always worried about the littlest thing !!

Don’t 🤣 twins is a big worry of mine as I come from a family of them! Just the thought of carrying twins scares me.

I’m with you there, as long as I know what’s going on I can deal with it it’s when I don’t know and it’s out of my hands I panic about things.

Oh no didn’t you, hope you can take it a little easy today.
Don’t worry too much every pregnancy is different but I can totally understand you comparing symptoms with your previous pregnancies.

I'm currently 5wks 3 days. Had some light spotting yesterday so went to the doctors and got some blood work done which I'm waiting for the results. This is my first time being pregnant so this whole process is new to me!

Feeling a little lonely as only my husband knows, but he just doesn't "get it" you know. So it would be nice to have some lovely online friends to discuss things with

I'm 7+6 so a little further along but also my first! I had an early scan last week where saw the baby and heartbeat so feeling a little less anxious now ☺️

Has anyone told anyone yet?! So far we've just kept it between me and my partner!

@twodice I know what you mean, I said to my DP last night my boobs felt fuller and slightly bigger and he laughed and said it’s it my head nothing like that has happened yet! Told him I’m buying him books to read, he is lovely but I don’t think it’ll be ‘real’ for him until we have a scan and I start to look pregnant

@MOLWI was it a private scan? I’ve been looking at them.
I’ve told 1 friend as if anything goes wrong I’ll need someone to talk too.
When would you tell people? 12 weeks?

@Samthenanny yes it was a private scan! And I'm planning on telling some family at 9 weeks just because it's my dads birthday then so I think it'll be the perfect time to tell him! So will tell family and a couple close friends then I think x

@MOLWI I might do it, just for peace of mind. It’s a internal scan isn’t it?

If we make it I’ll be telling my mum and sister at 9 weeks as we have my cousins hen do and they will 100% be asking why I’m not drinking

@Samthenanny Mine was just an abdominal one! I think most places try that first and if they can't see anything then they do internal to get a closer look!
But I was so happy it just ended up being on my tummy! Here's one of the pictures so not the clearest but enough to relax me massively haha especially seeing the heart flickering 😍

@Samthenanny and yeah I feel like This month has been easy because I've just been telling everyone I'm doing dry January but after that I feel like people would definitely start getting suspicious

@MOLWI it’s your little bean 😊 must be a lovely feeling getting to see the the heart flutter. I mentioned it to DP last and we agreed we’d get one at 8 weeks

Ah see it was my birthday on the 23rd and I never do dry Jan! I had a family meal on the 22nd with a small amount of wine as I just felt pregnant and then go my BFP on my birthday.
I have a cocktail evening next Saturday with a friend and I’m so insure if I just tell her or make up some excuse

I'm nervous as hell right now x hopefully see a a foetal pole and a heart beat !!
I was scanned on Monday at the gynaecologist and we managed to see the gestational sac and yolk sac, she was happy that it was in the right position so given that I'm exactly 6 weeks today I'm hoping that I see the heartbeat ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am BEYOND chuffed right now !!

Wee heartbeat, measuring a day or so behind but their not worried and good blood supply to little babba ❤️

@Carol1980 Whoop that’s amazing! I can only imagine how relieved you must be feeling so so happy for you 😊

Not completely out of the woods yet, but really glad I've seen a heartbeat as it means the risk goes down a bit more x
