Hi ladies,

I'm currently 5 weeks 4 days.

Due to multiple pregnancy loses plus a ruptured ectopic I was given a super early scan yesterday to make sure I wasn't having another ectopic.

Seen the gestational sac and yolk sac ❤️ doctor seemed happy so just looking for some other ladies who are at a similar or same stage as me ? So we can freak out together !!

I have a scan on Friday with the EPU ( from conception date I will be 6 weeks exactly)

@Carol1980 that’s amazing news, glad your little bean is growing and strong.

We have a scan booked for next Sunday

SunnySideUp2020 · 08/02/2022 10:14

Love seeing positive outcomes here!
I am an anxious mess.
I am breastfeeding so just assuming I am 4w6 today. No way of really knowing...
Got no symptoms just very positive pregnancy tests!

I have a gynaecologist appt on 21st so hoping for a scan to see a little bean...
I should be around 6w5 then.

Carol1980 · 14/02/2022 09:51

@Samthenanny is your scan next Sunday or was it yesterday?

Had my scan at the private place yesterday and they wanted to do a transvaginal ( girl was newly qualified and wanted to get really clear pics) and honestly these scan pics are AMAZING !!! Measuring right on target at 8w5dats ❤️

@Carol1980 wow they are super clear. It’s amazing how much your little one has grown since your last scan!

Our scans this coming Sunday at 1pm, I can’t wait. I’ll definitely be counting down the days this week

Carol1980 · 14/02/2022 11:30

@Samthenanny the days seem to just drag at the moment !!
I've already booked for next Sunday ( hubby probably thinks I'm mental) but it's honestly keeping my anxiety about the pregnant down. I'm not usually an anxious person, but with all the hormones etc the extra scans are certainly helping me ❤️

Samthenanny · 14/02/2022 11:42

@Carol1980 they really do drag!

Oh no I totally get that, there’s just too much unknown and if getting to see the little one regularly helps you do what you need too.
I’ll probably have another scan in between waiting for my 12 week scan. As I’m having my booking in appointment at 10 weeks and I’m worried I’ll have to wait till about 13/14 weeks for my nhs scan

How are you feeling?

Carol1980 · 14/02/2022 11:44

Feeling ok, not much sleep last night, and feeling tired today.
I contacted the midwife last Monday to organise my booking appointment but none has called me yet so I think I'll also have to wait a while for my 12 weeks scan, but I'll more thank likely do at least another few scan privately. Hoping that I calm down a bit once I'm past 12 weeks x

Im struggling with sleep, I am so restless some nights, I have to nap every day which has been fine so far but it’s half term and I’m a nanny so I don’t know how I’ll cope this week!
I waited a week for mine so you should hear soon.
I thought they had to scan you before a certain date if you opt in for the nuchal scan, which I will be at 35.
12 weeks is such a long time to worry xx

Samthenanny · 20/02/2022 15:57

@Carol1980 hope you’re well

We had our early scan earlier all is good with the little one, we seen the heartbeat flickering away and it’s measuring 7+3 so 1 day earlier then I thought.
Ended up having a internal scan so it’s a lot clearer like you said. Little bean looks like a frog though 🤣

SunnySideUp2020 · 20/02/2022 16:12

I have my early scan tomorrow morning!

Carol1980 · 20/02/2022 16:21

@Samthenanny excellent scan !! So happy for you x

We have another private scan today ( at 5pm) I've been exhausted today and already had a nap for 2 hours !!
Wish me luck !!

@Carol1980 thank you 😊
Let us know how you get on xx

Samthenanny · 20/02/2022 17:07

@SunnySideUp2020 how far will you be?
I didn’t know if it’d be a internal or abdominal so I drank loads then got told to empty because I got scanned but apparently my bladder was still really full 🤣
It’s such a lovely feeling seeing the little bean and the heart flickering away it’s really reassuring. We’ll be 8 weeks on Thursday so are going to tell very close family next weekend

Carol1980 · 20/02/2022 17:56

Well that was lovely !!

Saw out little jelly bean wiggle its bum 🤣

Measuring 9 weeks 4 days with a CRL of 28.4 x

Heartbeat still flicking away c

Love the scan pics!

I should be between 6 and 7 weeks. Not sure as I am BF so LMP not reliable...

Ahh was wondering about bladder... will go full just in case but am sure they will ask to empty!

Samthenanny · 20/02/2022 20:02

@Carol1980 what a amazing picture, your little one has grown so much since your last scan, it’s so amazing.

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/02/2022 13:04

Scan went well! I am about i weeks pregnant apparently! It was vaginal ultrasound. Have to go back in 2 weeks to date more precisely :)

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/02/2022 13:04

8 weeks*

Carol1980 · 21/02/2022 13:11

Carol1980 · 25/02/2022 11:10

Awwwww lovely xxxx

Anyone else feel like time seems to be standing still !!

I've adjusted my dates as the scan I had last Sunday put me a day behind where I was the week before ( no big deal)
So I'm now 10 weeks 2 days..... but I honestly feel like the weeks are dragging in so much now !!

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 25/02/2022 12:53

@Carol1980 i wouldnt adjust your dates just yet.
With ny DD she caught up to LMP by 12w scan even though I knew I ovulated late.
And she was 5 days behind at 7w scan!
Measurements arent too precise before 12w.

And yes time goes sooooo slow... I cant wait to go back but another 9 days to go!

Carol1980 · 01/03/2022 07:05

Has anyone else bought themselves a doppler ?

I got one with my last pregnancy and gave it to a friend who is also now pregnant again ( because I hadn't told anyone that we are pregnant yet I haven't asked for it back ended up going in to Vinted and getting another one)
Anyway I'm now 11 weeks and decided to try it last night ! Managed to find our little beans heartbeat !!!!
I know that the majority of midwives don't recommend getting it as it can cause stress, especially if you can't find the heartbeat, but I remembered roughly how I found my daughters heartbeat the last time so I'm def going to use it to keep my mind at east between scans etc.

My booking appointment isn't until next week which is bloody shocking as I contacted the community midwives at 7 weeks !! I will be 12 weeks the day after my appointment so I doubt I'll get my 12 week scan any time soon !!

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/03/2022 08:04

@Carol1980 i was tempted in my first pregnancy but decided against. As i really wanted to focus on movements and overall feeling.

If you are doing the combined test your 12w scan cant be thay far away as the measurements can only be done until 13w i think? Or something like that.

I would give them a call next week!

Carol1980 · 01/03/2022 08:18

I didn't know that !!
Friend of mines was 14 weeks when she got her '12' week scan. Might be worth a call today to see if I can get booked in for next week after the booking appointment !

I resisted the urge to get a private scan this week, but I've spoken to the hubby and said I would like one next Sunday as I'll be nearly 12 weeks by then anyway x
