Didn't quite realise we were so close to the end of the second one. Blush So let's have another one! Grin I'll post the due date list in a moment.

@Dyra just a small walks to bathroom/kitchen..still quite painful..when I'm sitting down I'm ok just don't want to sit down all day I think it will be more difficult and longer to recover if not moving much all day..maybe I'm just overthinking it, I'm only on day 3..

Dyra · 25/03/2022 14:17

Yay photos! This is Max. He is comparatively tiny.

@Catconfusion Rolls and rolls for days! I love the big babies. There's not many I've met that've been bigger than Elwen. I'll have a look at DD's red book to see how many months old she was when she hit 11lb 6. I reckon ~16 weeks. 🤣

Our little Elizabeth made an appearance at 1.50am this morning after 2 days of contractions weighing a petite 7lb. So far she's perfect. Feeding well, sleeping lots hardly cried. Hoping to get home to dad soon, visiting on our ward is 5.30-6.30 1 person only. 🙄

@Scoaf Awwwww. Teddy is a cutie. 🥰

@Caass45 Congratulations! Two days of contractions sounds awful. Hope you're home now and able to rest a bit.

Hi all, congratulations to those of you that have had your beautiful babies! 😍😍
Ridiculously late to this thread, but I'm due on the 15th of April with my 3rd baby and 3rd girl 🌸

Caass45 · 27/03/2022 07:24

@Dyra thanks yes 2 days was brutal. Then lost over 1.2ltrs of blood after not the best labour and delivery but she's worth it. No rest 🤣 don't think I've slept more than half an hour a day since Monday. This parenting thing is harder than I thought 😂

Congrats on all the other new babies 🥰🥰

Dyra · 27/03/2022 15:30

@Caass45 Really sorry to hear that. Sad Hoping recovery will be swift for you now.

Happy Mother's Day to one and all. Whether your babies are here, or just waiting a little longer.

2 days past my due date now, and still no signs of anything happening! I don’t want to wish away the last days of my pregnancy, but I’m getting impatient now! Love the photos of everyone’s babies!…

bubblybrit · 29/03/2022 08:42

Congratulations to all those with recent new arrivals 😀 the baby pics are just adorable ❤️!

My due date is on Thursday but nothing happening as of yet. Getting so fed up now. Had a failed sweep on Friday so booked for another one on the 1st if baby doesn’t arrive by then!

Anything happening with you @Derbee?

Derbee · 29/03/2022 09:29

@bubblybrit nope, still nothing! They wanted to induce me on the 1st (40+6), but I’ve refused. So I have a scan tomorrow morning (40+4) to check everything is ok. Was due a sweep tomorrow, but again have refused, as I really don’t want any form of induction if I can help it.

The latest the consultant has agreed to is the 5th for induction (40+10), so I’ve been bouncing on my ball and walking the dog as often as I can!

bubblybrit · 29/03/2022 09:39

@Derbee. My DD arrived early but this little one isn’t playing ball and I think I’ll go overdue. I agreed to the sweep as I’d rather not have the ‘full’ induction! My trust will only book an induction around 40+12 so have a way to go until then!

Do you think your ball helps? I don’t have one…have been trying to walk but it’s so painful at the moment!

Derbee · 29/03/2022 09:50

@bubblybrit I’m not sure about the ball. It’s my first pregnancy, so I have toning to compare it to. But I’ve been sitting/bouncing on the ball for the last few weeks, and the baby is in a good position. Could easily be coincidence though!

It’s definitely more comfortable to fit on than the sofa, as I don’t get kicked in the ribs when I’m upright!

bubblybrit · 29/03/2022 16:08

@Derbee. Oh yes…the kicking to the ribs is the worst! I’m so done with being pregnant 😀!

Dyra · 29/03/2022 18:25

Ball is good. Helps get baby into position, then the bouncing causes baby's head to come into contact with your cervix.

Sounds bad, but I already miss being pregnant. Getting a little bit broody. Blush

Went for a scan today, as part of my “expectant management” for being overdue. Everything fine, and baby looking very comfortable. Hoping it decides to come out soon though! Estimated at 8lb 15oz, so a chunky little thing!

Hope everyone is feeling ok still being pregnant, or loving having their babies in their arms 😊

Dyra · 01/04/2022 04:51

Happy April everyone. For all those still waiting this will be the month!

easybreezy586 · 01/04/2022 07:54

Happy April! My due date was Tuesday, no signs of anything happening at all so far. Saw my midwife on Wed and she wasn't able to do a sweep as cervix is too long. But she said things can change very quickly 🤞

Just trying to stay relaxed and get lots of rest, as I know I'll need it! Hows everyone else doing?

Caass45 · 01/04/2022 08:07

Happy April!

@easybreezy586 hopefully baby will appear soon for you! If it's any consolation, I had my 39 week appointment last Tuesday she said she couldn't do a sweep as baby was too high. Contractions started the next day. She was born very early Friday. Things can change fast

easybreezy586 · 01/04/2022 08:14

@caass45 that's really good to know thanks!!

bubblybrit · 01/04/2022 08:58

Looks as if I need to invest in a ball @Dyra as nothing happening at my end!

Due date was yesterday. Having second sweep today so fingers crossed things start to progress shortly as I’m so fed up being uncomfortable and in pain 😢

Derbee · 01/04/2022 09:34

I’m 41 weeks tomorrow! Can’t imagine this baby actually coming out now - I feel like I’ll be pregnant forever!

Dyra · 01/04/2022 10:49

Everything crossed none of you are waiting much longer.

Aww @dyra Max is absolutely beautiful. Xx

@Caass45 congratulations of the gorgeous Elizabeth. It sounds like it’s going well.

@Scoaf Henry looks absolutely perfect.

I hope you lovely ladies are recovering well. I’m so glad so many of our babies are here safely. I hope those still on the way are here soon! Xx

Catconfusion · 01/04/2022 11:19

Sorry I went a bit quiet. We’re quite sleep deprived here. Baby is sleeping during the day and up all night. We’ve also had an insane amount of appointments and been back at hospital twice for tests as Elwen has jaundice. She’s now lost 10% weight so now having to pump top ups to supplement the bfeeding. It was going well then suddenly she wasn’t latching well and my milk didn’t feel like it was coming in as it should post section. Just hoping we’re at a turning point now.

How is everyone else finding the feeding? Xx
