2 possible fathers?? Help

So I need help trying to determine who the baby’s father is before she’s born without a paternity test right now to put my mind at ease. I’m pregnant with a due date of January 28th. My last period was April 23rd. So I was having sex everyday up until I got pregnant with my now boyfriend. He would never ehaculate inside of me though. Always used the pull out method. Again we were having sex every single day even during ovulation days unprotected. I had one slip up where I slept with someone else and he actually did ejaculate in me the one time we did it which was may 14th. My period app says I ovulated may 9th. Based on this who’s most likely to be the father of my child??

A DNA test will help you out here.

PotteringAlong · 19/01/2022 13:43

Could be either one.

MsChatterbox · 19/01/2022 13:44

A good chance for either. The only way will be a DNA test.

annaj83 · 19/01/2022 13:46

Does your boyfriend know you cheated?
DNA test. Could be either

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 13:47

It’s a complicated situation. We weren’t dating yet pretty much had just met. I got pregnant 4 months into us talking. But yes he does know about this and knows there’s a chance the baby might not be his

Dna test is only way to know
And maybe use some barrier contraception if you have multiple partners in future

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 13:48

I understand about the dna test we are planning to get one as soon as she is born but I was hoping someone could try to help me out now with who it most likely would sound like before she is born because this has been haunting me my whole pregnancy.

Wolfiefan · 19/01/2022 13:49

Most likely doesn’t mean definitely. You can’t know.

Gazelda · 19/01/2022 13:51

This must okay in your mind a lot. But any guesses now would be purely speculation. No one can give you an answer without a DNA test.

Try not to let this dominate your last few weeks if pregnancy, and your enjoyment when your baby arrives (easier said than done, I know!).

It sounds as though your BF is accepting of the situation which is lovely.

Tiredmum100 · 19/01/2022 13:52

I don't think you will know until the baby is born. It really could be either of them. I would just focus on the last few weeks of your pregnancy and just worry about yourself and the baby. Stressing will be no good for the baby and you will know soon enough. Hope all works out for you.

MrsPatrickDempsey · 19/01/2022 13:59

There is no way to know without a DNA test. You can never pin point the time of conception. Even if you are sure of your cycle because sperm live for different lengths of time.

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 14:00

Yes he has been very accepting and understanding. I’m sure he was doing the same thing when we met just difference is I ended up getting pregnant. For not knowing forsure answers has been amazing though and has treated me like this is his child on the way no matter what and him being so involved in this pregnancy and it turning out she’s not his would really break my heart and especially his... I feel so bad for him but this is hurting me too just as much.

BlueSky8 · 19/01/2022 14:02

No one can even guess op.

Hope you get the answer you want.

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 14:04

I’m just so scared if the baby isn’t his he’s going to leave me. My delivery will either be the best day ever or the worst day ever cause once it gets done and it turns out the baby isn’t his what is he going to do up and leave me there in the hospital? This is just awful

OP posts:
WeeFae · 19/01/2022 14:06

They won't do a DNA test in the hospital nor would you get instant results. Ante-natal DNA tests are available if you want to know sooner.

BlueSky8 · 19/01/2022 14:06

You need to discuss what happens when baby is here and if she's not his.

PJsAndRainyDays · 19/01/2022 14:06

Personally I think it would be more likely to be the man who ejaculated.

I know the pull out method shouldn't really be used as contraception but it is possible to do it successfully, it at least strongly reduces the chance of pregnancy.

Nikkic2123 · 19/01/2022 14:07

How long are your cycles?

Crayzeefrog · 19/01/2022 14:08

Did you keep a track of your periods before you got pregnant or have you estimated your cycle?

I would put my money on the guy who did ejaculate inside you if you aren’t super sure of the cycle Dates.

Nikkic2123 · 19/01/2022 14:11

If you ovulate before cd21 it's your boyfriends baby.
Cd22 is when you had sex with the other guy.

girlmom21 · 19/01/2022 14:13

Talk to him about what happens if the baby isn't his. Don't have him as your birthing partner if you're not certain he'll stay. The birth needs to be all about the health of you and your baby and not the surrounding drama.

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 14:15

My average cycle lengths are 28 days

OP posts:
PJsAndRainyDays · 19/01/2022 14:15

I guess to be hair if your periods are like clockwork it sounds like you would be fine if you know you ovulated on the 9th.

However if you sometimes have longer cycles you may have ovulated late.

Kaaypaap · 19/01/2022 14:18

Based on my due date my conception date would have been may 7th. And most probable conception dates between may 5th and may 9th

Guesses aren't going to help though.
