Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

@Dormouse76 @Hannabanana2021 I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Sending hugs x

@Factualmistakes I hope your scan goes well for you x

I've had two cases of bleeding since finding out, one being NYE! I'm not convinced all is well inside me. EPU scanned me after the first bleed and did see a gestational sac and yolk sac. I have to wait another week for me next scan. I'm feeling unbelievably nauseous so I'm hoping all is well but seeing blood twice already, I can't help but feel doubtful.

Hannabanana2021 · 03/01/2022 13:21

Was confirmed Ectopic. I had the choice of surgery to remove the tube or injection which will leave me unable to conceive for 3 months so I won't be getting my rainbow this year 💔 😭
I wish everyone all the best x

mamaof2girls · 03/01/2022 13:29

So sorry to hear what everyone is going through I wish yous all the best at this time! X

Factualmistakes · 03/01/2022 15:25

Thank you to everyone for their well wishes. I attended the EPAS this afternoon and they didn't even scan me. They did a pregnancy test and it was negative so it looks like I have miscarried/am in the process of doing so. Not even sure if they class it as a miscarriage as I never made it to the viability scan. Just waiting on a phone call from my IVF clinic to find out what the next steps are.

Isonthecase · 03/01/2022 16:07

Oh no, sorry to hear about all the bad news people are getting. It seems so unfair Sad

beckybloomwood11 · 03/01/2022 18:23

surprised12 · 03/01/2022 18:35

Has anyone on here had a scan at 7 weeks? Could you see anything??

firsttimemumca · 03/01/2022 18:51

Cakecakecheese · 03/01/2022 19:01

@Hannabanana2021*&*@Factualmistakes I'm so sorry. Sending you both lots of love x

Cakecakecheese · 03/01/2022 19:03

@surprised12 I had a 7 week scan. I could see my little bean yes and see the heartbeat flashing.

KCat82 · 03/01/2022 19:13

So sorry to hear bad news on here. My thoughts with all of you.
@surprised12 I had a scan yesterday at what I thought was 7 weeks but was dated at approx 6+4. The scan showed the sack but had to have trans vaginal to see the bean and the heartbeat but was definitely my preferred choice over going back in a week.

Beth262 · 03/01/2022 19:47

@Hannabanana2021 @Dormouse76 and @Factualmistakes I am so, so sorry to hear your sad news. Nothing to say that will make you feel any better. Please look after yourselves. Sending you all love and hugs Flowers xx

Had my early scan tonight at 6+2. Could see the little bean and heartbeat! Had such a bad feeling about the scan so I am relieved, just want to get to 12 weeks now, feel like I can’t get excited at all until then. Would definitely recommend an early scan for reassurance though!

That's such good news! Bet it's a relief!

I've got one on Sunday - think I'll be 7+1. I think I'll end up with another private scan before 12 weeks if all goes well in this one - just so that I can relax

Pearldrops04 · 04/01/2022 10:22

@surprised12, Yes, I'm already thinking I'm going to book in for another at 9 weeks tbh. 5.5 weeks just seems a long time to go without another scan at this early stage. So much can happen and I really want to limit the likelihood of having a horrible surprise at the 12 week scan!

Best of luck for Sunday, you'll be fine Smile

Littlebutload · 04/01/2022 11:24

So sorry to hear peoples bad news on here.

I was 7 weeks yesterday and have booked a private scan for Thursday as I just couldn't hold out for my 8 week scan late next week. I had a loss in the summer and just want to make sure everything is okay hopefully. The constant nausea is really hitting me the last few days, I'm really beginning to struggle with it!

That's what I'm worried about - waiting so long thinking all is okay and then getting bad news.

My husband isn't fussy on early scans but said he'll leave it up to me if I want them. He's going to come with me but I think it's just different for men isn't it?

I feel like we are similar on the front - I'm anxious and feeling really badly sick. I've sipped on water all morning at work trying to pull myself together! I didn't have sickness at all last time and I had a MMC, so I'm welcoming these signs as hopefully things we good!

Am 6+4 today and just been to the loo and noticed old blood. First time this has happened. I have a dull ache which I’m now convincing myself is cramps. My scan is in ten days and I’m feeling really worried.

Dontsaykwen · 04/01/2022 14:44

Afternoon all. 6+4 here and no symptoms yet apart from sore boobs. This is my first so bracing myself for sickness a bit worried how bad it will be. How are others getting on with symptoms?
I did find a lump in one of my boobs and went to the doctors today and they are referring me for ultrasound and mammogram. I went thinking it would just be swelling and general pregnant boobiness but now I’m a bit Confused

PopGoesBang · 04/01/2022 14:56

With the nausea all I can recommend is small snacks/meals regularly. Be the inner toddler.

And of course if it gets too bad do talk to your gp and/or midwife.

I've got a bloody test with the midwife on Thursday. Hoping I have a good day sickness wise or I'll be too dehydrated and I'll be even more mean giving it up than normal.

Beth262 · 04/01/2022 15:19

@netflixandnochill 'Old' blood is never usually anything to worry about and cramping is normal as you stretch and grow. I totally appreciate your worry though and is probably made 10x worse by the bad news we've had on the thread the last few days. 10 days is going to feel like a lifetime so here when you need a hand hold and support. I've had some awful cramping this time around - sharp pain, pulsing pain, aching... but all was good at my 8wk scan x

netflixandnochill · 04/01/2022 15:36

Thanks @Beth262 I’ve never got to this point of pregnancy before. The fragility of it all so far is really taking its toll. I’m back in the office today too which isn’t helping.

Just had a call back from the doc and going to discuss a higher dose of folic acid and perhaps the pessary. Does anyone on the thread have experience of either?

Beth262 · 04/01/2022 16:11

@netflixandnochill Early pregnancy is such a stressful and worrying time. Which is the opposite of what your body needs you to do!

I've been prescribed pessaries this time around (5th pregnancy, 3 losses). For me, they have certainly seemed to have helped so far with stopping spotting but they are messy. I just can't bring myself to put them up my bum like some have suggested! 😬
