Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

@Factualmistakes

I'm still bleeding and still in pain. Had some clots too. My local EPAS have told me to take a test tomorrow morning and if it is still positive then I have a scan booked for Monday afternoon. However I'm not feeling remotely hopeful. Happy New Year to me!
Aww that's awful to read - I really hope everything works out for you
Hannabanana2021 · 01/01/2022 16:41

I'm having my 3rd bleed of the week. It gushes out lasting seconds then disappears. I've been having left sided pain all day and a dead left leg. I was contemplating calling the hospital and kept putting it off then I had the gush of blood and panicked. Rang EPAU and they said there's no one to scan today.
So I have to wait till my scheduled one tomorrow morning. I don't know if I'm being unreasonable in thinking I'm sat here panicking about Ectopic and them telling me to wait has made me a little angry 🥺

PopGoesBang · 01/01/2022 16:47

@Factualmistakes Sending lots of thoughts your way.

@mamaof2girls Vitamins I'm taking my vitamins pregnancy gummies, and also when talking to the midwife this week she said I should be taking additional folic acid as my bmi is over 30... new to me. But the GP prescribed some.

I have to try and take them at times I'm hopeful they stand a chance of staying down.

PopGoesBang · 01/01/2022 16:49

@Hannabanana2021 I can understand the frustration.
Only thing I can think is if the pain increases call them again - they surely should have to do something?
If you do manage to wait it out I hope tomorrow goes ok.

Ahh try it's awful! There is so little support in these early stages. I hope your scan goes well tomorrow x
Pearldrops04 · 01/01/2022 18:45

@Hannabanana2021, could you go to A&E? Surely if someone was rushed in with suspected ectopic tonight they couldn’t just say ‘we can’t scan you tonight, sorry.’ They’d have to do something?! If the pain gets bad I’d go straight to A&E!

Isonthecase · 01/01/2022 18:54

Sorry to hear so many people having a tough time! It's such a worrying time anyway even without all that.
Just wanted to introduce myself, I have 2 boys already and am getting an unexpected third late August after slightly misjudging what days to be careful Hmm. Not sure on the date yet but I think sometime in the last week! Already VERY nervous about managing the whole horde...

Hannabanana2021 · 01/01/2022 19:14

@Pearldrops04
I'm currently in A&E. the pain got so bad I couldn't move. I've been on a drip of painkillers and all the tests have been done and now it's a waiting game to find out if they want to scan me sooner than tomorrow. I hope they choose tonight. I can't handle much more unknown 😭

StayWeird · 01/01/2022 20:16

Sending you a virtual hand hold @Hannabanana2021, I hope you do get a scan soon 🤞

So sorry to all of you who are going through a difficult time at the moment x

madeleine85 · 01/01/2022 20:48

@Hannabanana2021 that sounds horrendous, I am so sorry you are waiting this out. I cannot believe that they haven't scanned you, it takes seconds, I have second hand rage. Hope the test results come back ASAP and this is figured out x

Pearldrops04 · 01/01/2022 21:32

Rooting for you @Hannabanana2021, I really hope they can get you a scan tonight, you poor thing, you really have been through it Sad

Isonthecase · 02/01/2022 07:27

Hope it's all going well @Hannabanana2021 and you've been able to get some answers

Lilipa · 02/01/2022 09:50

@Hannabanana2021 You've had a terrible past few days and last night sounds scary. I hope they scanned you and it was not ectopic! When you have a moment let us know how it went. Sending a virtual hug to you.

Factualmistakes · 02/01/2022 10:18

@Hannabanana2021 really hope you are OK and that they sort you out.

Beth262 · 02/01/2022 10:29

Just catching up on the thread. Poorly toddler the last few days.

@Dormouse76 sorry to hear you've had a negative test. Look after yourself.

@Factualmistakes How are you feeling this morning? Hope all is ok at the scan this afternoon.

@Hannabanana2021 What a dreadful few days you've had. Sending you a virtual hand hold x

Factualmistakes · 02/01/2022 10:33

@Beth262
I took a HPT this morning as advised. It was still positive but not as dark as when I was testing the week of my OTD and the last test I did 10 days ago. I did pass something yesterday but couldn't be sure if it was a clot or something else as it went straight into the toilet. After that though the pain and bleeding has stopped. Both me and my husband are on very low hopes for tomorrow when I get scanned.

Beth262 · 02/01/2022 10:54

@Factualmistakes Sorry, I've lost all track of what day it is. I really hope for you that tomorrow brings good news. I have been in your position on more than one occasion so can imagine how you and DH are feeling. Make sure you give yourself some TLC this afternoon.

netflixandnochill · 02/01/2022 11:10

Just letting you know that I’m thinking of those going through pain and uncertainty at the moment. Sending you all my absolute best xx

2021babyhope · 02/01/2022 11:21

Hi everyone, hope it's okay to join 😊 I'm due fairly late in august according to my IVF dates (27th) and have just hit 6+1.

For the last week I've had quite bad sickness and nausea (yesterday being the worst day) but this morning I've woken up and feel comparatively much better! Still can't eat loads and feel a bit off but I just wondered if anyone has experienced the same thing?

Is it usual for it to just go away over night? I have my scan on the 11th January so just praying everything is as it should be.

Pearldrops04 · 02/01/2022 12:28

@2021babyhope, welcome! Yes, I’ve heard it’s common for symptoms to come and go!

Pearldrops04 · 02/01/2022 12:29

Also thinking of all those going through a hard time Flowers praying it works out for you all.

Glago2017 · 02/01/2022 13:10

Happy new year everyone!

Sending lots of hugs to those who are going thought a difficult or anxious time. Thinking of you all and hoping for a positive result for you all. 🤞x

Lilipa · 02/01/2022 13:18

I just had the scan and unfortunately they could not detect the sac anymore. I must have miscarried at 5 weeks 5 days when I was bleeding.

dream109 · 02/01/2022 14:09

@Lilipa I'm so sorry. Sending so much love x

StayWeird · 02/01/2022 14:21

I'm so sorry @Lilipa Thanks
