Morning, does anyone suffer really bad heart palpitations?

Luckyfamilymum · 15/12/2021 12:47

@ChattyMum86 no, I was born with a large cyst on one ovary which was removed at 6 months old with the ovary & fallopian.
My left ovary has always ovulated every month & compensated, had my daughter very successfully & fingers crossed this pregnancy is doing ok too… can’t wait for my scan on Friday to check it’s in the right place!

But honestly no worries at all… our bodies are amazing! The only thing I have heard is that menopause may come earlier as eggs run out earlier…. I have never been medically advised on this though!
Hope your incisions heal quickly & you can crack on the the baby making soon - have you been advised when you may get another period?

Cmacq32 · 15/12/2021 13:24

@boymummy89 the link doesn't work for me either.
I'm hoping someone can invite us or re post the link. (I don't think this has to be admin to share the link?) I really don't like mumsnet functionality, find it hard to follow the chat with the way it's laid out!

MummyBear405 · 15/12/2021 14:05

Hey ladies!

Can I join? Got my BFP this morning so I'm only like 3 weeks but super excited! This will be my second, already have a DD who turns 2 next month Smile

Due July/August 2022
ChattyMum86 · 15/12/2021 14:20

@Luckyfamilymum oh wow! Our bodies really are amazing!
No they didn't say 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'll just need to get back to using my OPKs and time will tell. I still have both ovaries but I'm assuming the egg will just release and absorb into the body 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cmacq32 · 15/12/2021 15:21

@MummyBear405 congratulations 🤭👏👏❤️

Juno231 · 15/12/2021 16:07

@danani if you use the "what to expect" due date calculator it lets you put conception date in for the calc. Otherwise you just do ovulation date + 2 weeks. LMP in your case wouldn't be accurate.

Luckyfamilymum · 15/12/2021 16:39

@ChattyMum86 ah so that wouldn’t be a problem for you as you have all your eggs still :)
Hope you are back on a similar thread soon!

@MummyBear405 welcome & congrats!! My DD has just turned 2 a couple of weeks ago :) it will be a lovely age gap!

Luckyfamilymum · 15/12/2021 16:42

@Juno231 @Danani I had wondered too about ovulation based or LMP based, I ovulated on day 20 when I got pregnant so don’t think LMP is very accurate

Danani · 15/12/2021 16:52

Yeh, thanks @Juno231. I think Ovulation is the one I should go by. So 6+6 today. x

This is the calculator I used if anyone is curious and also suspects they should go by ovulation: flo.health/tools/due-date-calculator

irishfarmer · 15/12/2021 17:06

@ChattyMum86 that is awful!! That sounds so painful. Sending plenty of tlc your way x

StartLeo · 16/12/2021 03:50

@ChattyMum86

Thanks so much everyone ❤️ yes they removed the tissue from what used to be the Fallopian tube.

Oh wow @Luckyfamilymum - that is so good to hear! It gives me hope 🙏🏼🥰 did you also have a previous ectopic then?

@ChattyMum86, what an ordeal you have been through! I am so sorry about your losses.
Northandsouth85 · 16/12/2021 08:50

@FeeneeTTC

Welcome *@Cmacq32 and @Northandsouth85* and congratulations!

I think a second group was started as this one had a lot of people in it and some prefer a smaller group. But many of us have migrated over to the Facebook group now, I’ll see if one of the admins can post the link again.

Thank you xxx

Morning ladies, if anyone does- how do you deal with the panic and anxiety? When I wake up and have no pains or nausea I panic and get myself so worked up!

Misty84 · 16/12/2021 09:59

@Aims1991 I go to work which distracts me out of it! Anything to keep busy is good. I don’t have any nausea but all was fine in my scan a few days ago so I’ve accepted that everyone has varying degrees of symptoms or none at all! I’ve been much more relaxed since. We’re very lucky not to feel sick all the time!🙂

SantiagoSister · 16/12/2021 10:01

@Aims1991 I know exactly how you feel. I am so anxious in this pregnancy. What works for me is to take a few deep breaths, and remember that no matter how much I stress, I cannot change the outcome of whatever will happen. Nothing I can do will change that either way. I worry about the effects stress can have on a growing baby too, so I try to talk myself out of stressing because it’s not good for me or the baby, and it doesn’t change a thing, except for making you feel terrible. Hope you can find a way that works for you too, it’s awful having so much anxiety.

Luckyfamilymum · 16/12/2021 10:24

@Aims1991 completely understand the anxiety…. But everyone’s bodies react differently to HCG, some people are not affected at all, and some react badly, it doesn’t mean it’s not there working away :)
But agree that distraction is key… keep yourself busy at work for with projects, I’m finding it easier as it’s Christmas & have plenty to do!

Aims1991 · 16/12/2021 13:07

@Luckyfamilymum @SantiagoSister @Misty84 thanks ladies. I'm off on holiday this week so think that's why I'm worse! I have a scan on Saturday so hopefully good news will give me reassurance. I'm paranoid about everything! To the silly bizarre things like, are my jeans too tight and digging in!

Rachae · 16/12/2021 13:08

@Aims1991 all I can suggest is regular scanning and I'm totally with you. I have my 8+3 scan tomorrow morning and I'm sooo nervous. I just don't feel anything but hunger! Hard to believe there will be anything there 😓 xx

Luckyfamilymum · 16/12/2021 13:28

@Aims1991 exciting about your holiday! That wil do the trick :) oh my god! Nothing fits & everything feels wobbly… it’s horrible! It must be the bloating & the fact I can only eat brown bland foods… I tried watermelon last night & it made me feel awful!! Don’t know how I’m meant to get any nutrition to this baby when I can’t stomach anything!!
@Rachae I’m with you for the scan tomorrow… although I will be around 7 weeks, have you had one already?

Rachae · 16/12/2021 13:49

@Luckyfamilymum ohhh that's exciting, what time's yours? Yea I've had 4 so far. Last one was at 7 weeks and I measured 2 days ahead. I'd be feeling pretty confident... if I just had a damn pregnancy symptom! xx

Luckyfamilymum · 16/12/2021 14:01

@Rachae mines at 4pm, it will be a long day! When’s yours?
Ohh you will hopefully be able to see more of baby tomorrow :)
Is this your first pregnancy? - have you got anything to compare your level of symptoms to? I know the grass is always greener… but nausea is just getting me down, I wish I had no symptoms, but I can 100% understand why that would make you nervous too!

RKEE · 16/12/2021 14:13

I am offended today ha, I feel like I have a hangover but without the pleasure of a drink! I think this may be the start of the sickness 🙈 6 weeks tomorrow.

Rachae · 16/12/2021 14:20

@Luckyfamilymum mines at 9am... i just know the night will crawl! Yes you too :-) It's my 5th pregnancy but no baby yet... never had morning sickness or many symptoms but this is the furthest I've ever got. So not a very good indicator. I'd gladly swap your sickness for my nothing :-D Xx

Aims1991 · 16/12/2021 14:39

@Rachae I have an early scan booked for Saturday. Will be 6+2. Just hoping it won't be too early and not see anything
