Hi all,

I haven't had chance to read through the whole thread but just saying hi as I'm around 7 weeks, will join the fb group if that's ok when I get a minute Smile

irishfarmer · 03/12/2021 15:35

@strawberrysummer19 fair enough thanks :) I think my EPU just love taking blood, they do it every single time!!

Rachae · 03/12/2021 15:44

@ChattyMum86
I was getting 2-3 up until 5 weeks 4, when I stopped testing as learned my hcg was over 8k. (And that CB can be dodge!)

@Firsttimetrier
Absolutely - don’t bother with them :-)

@strawberrysummer19 that’s brilliant news!! Did you mean it was 5.2mm, instead of 0.52mm? xx

Curlywurly3 · 03/12/2021 16:08

Hi Ladies, I’m now worried again!
The results have just come back from my blood test yesterday when I was 4+0 weeks, it was 36. Has anyone had any experience of this? Could it be low if I ovulated later?

Jane2021 · 03/12/2021 16:10

Hiya,

Im new here and feeling weirdly anxious this time round. Based on dates I think I'm 5+1 and got my positive test 12 days after ovulation.

Debating whether to pay for a private scan to check things are ok as feeling less nauseous than last time round and getting a lot more cramps then I remember 5 years ago. Was thinking around the 8 week mark which would be just before Christmas as not confident I will hear back from the midwife team before Christmas. Would that be a good time to get a scan for reassurance?

Thanks

Congrats! I have an early scan booked for just after Xmas when I will be 8+2. Desperately wanted to go earlier but thought then would be a good time as I've seen people going earlier then having to go back a couple of weeks later
Mercified · 03/12/2021 16:46

@strawBerrysummer19 I'm happy to hear that it all went well. It's great seeing all the positive scan results today.

SantiagoSister · 03/12/2021 18:15

Evening ladies, gingerly making my way onto this thread wishing all to be ok this time 🤞🏼 I should be due around August 6th-10th. Nice to be amongst those in the same boat!

irishfarmer · 03/12/2021 18:35

Hi @SantiagoSister lovely to see you here :)

SantiagoSister · 03/12/2021 19:20

Hi @irishfarmer, thank you! 😊 I’ve just scooted back a couple of pages to get up to date and just seen your fantastic news! Congratulations, I hope all is well when you go back 🥰

sunny20219 · 03/12/2021 19:58

Hello, I hope you don't mind me joining. I have just had my BFP and I am about 11dpo. I have also requested to join fb group.

Due July/August 2022
babibach · 03/12/2021 20:49

Hi all,
Got my feint BFP today and should be due around August 15th, so still very early, but wanted to chat to others in a similar position x

Bubblesandballoons · 03/12/2021 21:45

Hey can I join. Got my bfp on Monday, but I haven’t gone off chocolate, which I did with my first early miscarriage and then my pregnancy with my ds, so I’ve been panicking, but the lines are getting darker, so I’m trying to just breathe and enjoy the ride 🙃. So happy to hear about all the positive scans x

Luckyfamilymum · 03/12/2021 22:40

@Bubblesandballoons welcome & congrats on your BFP!!

This is bizarre, I had a chemical last month & had nausea & went off chocolate 2 days after implantation. (Exactly what I had with my DD but from about week 7). But this time, I haven’t had any of that yet (5+2) either!
So glad I’m not the only one that can’t eat chocolate in 1st trimester, it’s torture!!

Also, very strange that we both had that surge of hcg in early miscarriage - I wonder if that is a thing? Hopefully this makes you less panicky! X

Bubblesandballoons · 04/12/2021 05:42

@Luckyfamilymum thanks for the reassurance, going off chocolate was my first symptom and what made me test both times before as I always tend to have a small bit every day. Fingers crossed we don’t get it this time, as over Xmas that will be a killer 😩😂.
How old is you DD? my DS is 1 today
x

20viona · 04/12/2021 08:16

Well girls I feel so dizzy today! I felt super dizzy with my daughter 3 years ago and this seems to be the same case.

Luckyfamilymum · 04/12/2021 08:20

@Bubblesandballoons happy birthday little one! That’s wonderful, such a lovely age gap too, She was 2 last Monday so full of beans!

Be interesting to see if this pregnancy is any different! Nausea finished bang on 12 weeks last time, but I could do without it! already finding energy levels don’t match DD’s

MrsS11 · 04/12/2021 10:23

bubblesandballoons happy birthday to your wee one! This is my 4th pregnancy (including 1 early miscarriage) and they've all been completely different ok terms of cravings and aversions. I've gone off porridge this time (which I normally have every day with the kids) which is a total pain in the arse! I'm also (gradually) remembering that although I've always felt a wee bit different and known I was pregnant, proper morning sickness etc didn't kick in until about week 8. So there's still all that to look forward to 😃

Bubblesandballoons · 04/12/2021 12:11

@Luckyfamilymum ah bless her, hopefully she’ll put that energy to helping you with the baby when they come.
I had no nausea last time and was sick once at 16 weeks that was it, so hoping I am lucky enough to not get it this time. So far I’m just really exhausted too (which isn’t helped by my ds having bad nights at the moment with teething) but I’m only 4+2 so plenty of time for them to come x

kitchen456 · 04/12/2021 17:13

Hi ladies! I had my BFP this morning and I think I’m only 4 weeks pregnant, due around 14th Aug.

Feeling so happy but also very nervous and desperate to talk about everything!

SilverQuill · 04/12/2021 19:01

Had my BFP 18th November, think I'm due around 28th July. Totally unexpected - we thought it couldn't happen and I was waiting to have an endometrial polyp removed. Anxious about everything now the initial euphoria has worn off a little...

FeeneeTTC · 04/12/2021 22:48

Welcome @kitchen456 and @SilverQuill and congratulations!

kitchen456 · 05/12/2021 08:19

Thank you! how is everyone feeling?

FeeneeTTC · 05/12/2021 08:43

@kitchen456 I’m 6+4 today (due around 27th July) and think nausea is definitely kicking in, I feel quite sick this morning! I had no sickness at all until I hit 6 weeks and now it’s gradually increasing. But also it’s only 5 days until my scan - when I booked it, it was over 3 weeks away so time has passed quite quickly. Grin

How’s everyone else?
