Found out recently that I am pregnant after a missed miscarriage and ectopic, have also been struggling to conceive due to PCOS! I am so nervous but excited at the same time as I have a good feeling this time round. My due date is currently 18th July and was wondering if anyone was due around the same time would like to join this thread for some support on this journey? Much love ❤️

I feel ok ish! More much exhausted than usual but no sickness yet! How about you?

eastview · 12/11/2021 09:04

Me too @newnameanon19 just super tired and sore boobs! Got my first (early) scan next week to rule out ectopic- I'm terrified!!

Hey

Congrats everyone Thanks

Me! 25 July 2022. My first pregnancy ended in a MMC in Feb of this year. I then found out I have PCOS in the summer (after a 60 day long bleed 🙈, followed by 70 day no bleed).

This has been our first attempt this whole year so I can't believe it and I turned 40 this year. I had help from private fertility clinic (Clomid, trigger and progesterone) and I've been on Metformin for 3/4 months now. I think the Metformin combined with Clomid must have worked very well. I'll be starting Clexane injections on Monday.

I'm filled with anxiety to be honest that something will go wrong again so it would be nice to have support 😊

Hey @MimiArm ! Welcome! Congratulations!!! It's so exciting but soooo scary isn't it! Im so sorry to hear about your MC. I hope this is it for us 🙏❤️❤️

Hi everyone!!! Flowers

I am due July 19 so very close to you OP Grin

I found out yesterday. I did three tests by dipping and then knocked the cup of wee all over the bathroom floor!

I had a miscarriage 4 years ago but that started v early about 2 weeks after conception, and I have surpassed that mark now, I’m 2 weeks 4 days after conception. Trying to be positive!!!

Sleeping very shallow and sore boobs, but ok apart from that

Positive vibes to us all!

eastview · 12/11/2021 10:52

Congratulations @Queenandslim we are very close in dates by the looks!! Is this everyone's 1st baby? Will be ours ❤️ I'm losing my mind with stress already 😂

ChinChilly · 12/11/2021 10:53

Tentatively joining, due 16th July! Had a MMC at every end of June and a couple of CPs before so just taking each day as it comes at the moment. I think I'm preparing for the worst but hoping for best! It's so hard after MC.

eastview · 12/11/2021 10:58

I'm so sorry to hear this @ChinChilly. It really is so hard to be positive after loss. But congratulations ❤️ how are you feeling? I feel exactly the same. I am trying not to do 10 tests everyday. I used my last one today and I'm not doing another. Totally stress inducing!!

OP posts:
ChinChilly · 12/11/2021 11:12

@eastview absolutely it completely changes the whole thing doesn't it! I've also had to put a stop to my excessive testing 🤣 I feel fairly normal too at the moment just some mild cramping here and there but I'm fairly sure mild cramps are normal. I had horrendous sickness last time so I'm hoping that doesn't kick in again!

This is will be our first baby too.. are you planning any early scans?

al1n · 12/11/2021 11:23

Hi all! 18/19 July here, hard to know as it was ahem not exactly planned! But I'm delighted. Have a 16 month old girl already

Queenandslim · 12/11/2021 11:23

@eastview this is my first baby. Partner’s third. I am pretty clueless! He mentioned yesterday “actually the baby will be in a Moses basket with us for the first six months” I was like...

@ChinChilly sorry for your losses. I hope this is a sticky bean Flowers

Queenandslim · 12/11/2021 11:25

@al1n welcome! Same due date as me!

eastview · 12/11/2021 11:35

@ChinChilly yes we have an early scan next Thursday! This is just as I had an ectopic before, to rule it out. I do not want a scan this early as I know there may not be a heartbeat yet and I'm terrified 🥲 hey @al1n❤️ congratulations!! And welcome! Is anyone else having early scans?

OP posts:
al1n · 12/11/2021 11:41

Thanks @eastview and @Queenandslim

I'm going to have a scan in 2 weeks when I should be somewhere between 6-7 weeks. I had one with my daughter at 7 weeks and it was a brilliant experience

Lollipop95 · 12/11/2021 11:42

Hi all, can I join?

Found out on Tuesday evening that I'm pregnant so going by last AF I should be due 17th July!

Only second month trying so a bit panicked that it's happened so fast but so excited that it's actually happened! 💕 good luck to everyone for the next 8 months :) xx

ChinChilly · 12/11/2021 11:43

@Queenandslim there is sooo much to learn though! My friend has 5 so I'll definitely be asking her loads of questions! Ahh thank you, hopefully sticking beans all round.

@eastview The early ones are really scary aren't they, well i was due to have my first appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic on the 24th so I called them and they are still going to see me and decide if I need any progesterone or asprin or anything like that although i suspect it will be too late by then for any of that to have an effect. She said they'll also offer me a scan at around 7-8 weeks which I'm guessing will be around the beginning of December?

eastview · 12/11/2021 11:51

@ChinChilly I am absolutely dreading it 😂 omg 5?! Deffo go there for advice then hahaha! I think you can request to be referred to the EPU so may be worth asking GP! Hey @Lollipop95! Congratulations❤️

Where is everyone from?
I'm from South Wales!

al1n · 12/11/2021 12:04

Belfast, NI!

ChinChilly · 12/11/2021 12:11

@eastview I know, she had 2 under 2 for a a little bit. I'm under Tommy's at the moment so I'm guessing I'll stay under their care for a while.

I'm from the West midlands!

eastview · 12/11/2021 12:20

Ooh we are all spread around then! How about you guys @Lollipop95 @Queenandslim @MimiArm

OP posts:
Queenandslim · 12/11/2021 12:21

@ChinChilly 5 wow that's seriously impressive. I am 31 so getting started late, no chance of 5 I'm afraid Grin
