6 weeks pregnant yolk sac but no fetal pole

Hi,

Looking for a miracle

History:
No children, 3 misscarraiges
1- threated abortion after seeing heartbeat
2- missed misscarraige, sac kept growing but nothing in it
3- early chemical loss

Did a clear blue monday night - 2-3 weeks
Private scan yesterday dates me at 5+1… last period was 15th September (30 day cycle)
No bleeding, not really having an symptons
Ovulated out my left side, previous have been the right side
Gest sac is 5.9mm

Worrying this will be another misscarraige
Got told to do a test in a couple of weeks before going for another scan, give the baby chance to grow… but something feels off

I went for an early scan because of bleeding. The scan showed an empty sac with no heartbeat and dated me around 4 weeks instead of 6 (I was 100% sure of my dates). They were the longest two weeks waiting but at my next scan thankfully there was a heartbeat.

I continued to bleed until around 12 weeks. It was such a stressful time not knowing how things would turn out. Just try and stay positive. DS is about to turn 7 this week!

Wow I have such a similar story , although no 7 yo DS to show for it yet Did you bleed a lot? I've had bright red blood and now brown spotting for 3 days, doesn't look good for me, can't believe you've had a successful outcome, that is amazing

Sorry didn't realise I hadn't updated this - unfortunately it was diagnosed by epu that I had a missed miscarriage. Obviously we were gutted and there was a lot of tears but I can say epu were great, really sensitive and very prompt treatment (which is what I wanted)

A quick update for anyone who stumbles over this post.

I went for a private scan 3 weeks ago that showed a baby with a heartbeat

I have had next to no symptons for the past few weeks

Another private scan today showed no heartbeat and a 15mm gest sac

Diagnosed a missed miscarriage

Same I lost my baby at 10 weeks 😭

Really sorry ladies, I also lost my baby. 3 weeks today since it happened and still testing postive, so I have to go for yet another scan and I'm just so sick of it now. I want my body to reset so we can get going again. Honestly seen enough of the epu waiting room

I lost my baby on the 16th of November I tested negative today

I know this post is 3 and a half years old but so sad to see all of your outcomes. I’m here for the same reason, no fetal pole at 6weeks +1. Yolk sac appeared but still measuring around 5 weeks, I’ve been spotting only when I wipe for 2 weeks now. Not looking good! Rescan on Tuesday after a long 2WW. I’m sure of my dates. Only thing keeping me hopeful is I have a retroverted axial uterus and they really struggled to visualise the pregnancy. I had internal and abdominal.

I so hope you’ve all since gotten your rainbow babies. @Unlucky123 i really feel for you and your recurring losses, this will be my third loss 💔
