Any ivf pregnancies ?

I'm only 6+2 and super paranoid about absolutely everything. Had my fet on the 28/09, it was our second fet after the first one failed, I had bleeding before I even got to the otd. My scan is this Thursday and it's fair to say I'm bricking it.

Would be nice to chat with some ladies who've done ivf, I have been keeping an eye on the June 2022 thread but sometimes I find I can't relate.

@paintfairy wow that's even later than mine which is on Tuesday and I'll be 7+6. I had one last week privately because I couldn't wait. I agree that 8 weeks does feel really late 😕

I'm glad you saw Dr S and he was so lovely and reassuring @RosieLeeD my wait between scans this time was 10 days and it's not been that bad. But I didn't want it to come quickly. It's nice to know you have the option there if you need it. I've found crp to be really supportive at the moment.
Yes, my scan is with the epu on Monday. It was a nurse last time but think it'll be a sonographer this time as they'd just squeezed me in. Tommy's is on the same unit, so hopefully we'll be supported.
My ivf clinic called on Friday - just a courtesy call, but I explained some of how we'd felt and how upsetting it all was, especially being told it was a definite failed pregnancy. She was really kind and apologised and said she'd pass it on.
Thank you for thinking of me, can't believe it's so close now. Really praying this is different for us. X

@Holskey I'm so sorry you're so sick. I'm glad you've got some meds, hope they help you. I'm nauseous all day and the only thing that helps is eating. I seem to have an energy crash about 2pm where I just have to lie down for a couple of hours.
I'm hoping that they've had a growth spurt and all is well on Monday 🙏 not long for your scan on Tuesday 💕

@Holskey the paperwork she put on the portal after says 7 weeks. Do you know what, I'm going to ring and see if I can get it swapped. The worst they can say is no!
@VenusStarr fingers crossed for Monday. 🤞 I definitely think its right you told them. Apologies aren't much use for the stress it causes though.
@strawberrysummer19 🤣 Its ridiculous because the happiness is so short lived. I did tests 2 days in a row but obviously now I believe it. However already I'm panicking it might go wrong already. And testing won't exactly help. My clinic have said to do one in a week though to make sure there's still a line. Great. I'll look forward to that.

@paintfairy oh did they? Well I was going to buy more then I thought I would drive myself crazy and I'm trying not to! I'll see how I feel after my beta on Wednesday. Xx

@strawberrysummer19 yes. But I don't get a blood test. So you won't need to if you are having that.

Has anyone else had issues with sleeping? This is killing me. I think I'm getting like 3 hours a night! I fall asleep but then I wake up again (mostly before 12 even). From 2am I'm lucky if I even doze before 5am then. I seem to fall asleep about 5am and then don't want to wake up when the alarm goes off! I'm exhausted. 😫 Some nights are worse than others but last night was particularly bad. Although sometimes I have trapped wind or I'm hot from the progesterone, other times there's nothing wrong but I still can't bloody sleep.

@Holskey thank you! I hope so too, I remember when I had the FET they told me the embryo was already starting to hatch which was a good sign so I think we have a little fighter on our hands! 💕

Sorry to hear your sickness has got worse, it's good they have given you something and I hope it's working. I've started getting a little nauseous but just puts me off certain foods so not too bad at all. Wishing you all the best for your scan on Tuesday xx

@VenusStarr I know what you mean about not wanting the scan to come quickly. I'm somewhere in the middle, I want to know everything is ok but I'm a mess on the day itself. I'm glad you have found CRP clinic supportive too, I find it makes a real difference. I'm feeling positive for you for tomorrow, I have a feeling you have a little fighter on your hands aswell! 💕 I'm pleased you got somewhat of an apology from the IVF clinic, it can't change the trauma you went through but hopefully they learn from it. Xx

@paintfairy welcome aboard. I agree it's definitely worth asking to bring your scan forward, sounds like they calculated your dates wrong. My IVF clinic booked a scan at 7 weeks and my miscarriage clinic booked one at 6w+5 but due to a bleed I ended up having one at EPU at 6w+2 and could see the heart beat. I felt the days went really slowly to the first scan so good not to add an extra week on! X

@strawberrysummer19 congrats on your stronger line and all the best for the blood test on Wed, hopefully you get the result quite quickly! X

Thank you @RosieLeeD ❤️ I hope so. I feel strangely calm these last few days. I'm hoping we have a little fighter. I've been getting more stretchy feelings, mostly in the morning and then later in the evening. They are reassuring me a bit.

@paintfairy sorry to say my sleep hasn't been right for weeks. I'm up about 1ish for a wee, then about 5 for another one, then I'm just awake. Explains the crash after lunch!

@VenusStarr I must go for a wee every hour! But I'm so bloated it's like i can't beat the extra pressure. Sometimes it hurts. How I'm staying awake through the day I've no idea.

@paintfairy me too! Never been to the loo so much and my sleep was better last night but hasn't been since finding out. I'm so bloated I already look so pregnant so don't know how I'm going to hide it! Have a wedding in a few weeks time - I look huge! I tried my dress on and you can really see my bloat.

Only other thing I've noticed I constantly have a dry mouth x

Does anyone know of a pregnancy app ? I had one before for my daughter but can't remember which one and it had week but week updates which I found really useful

The only one I found had date of last period which isn't correct as I need one to calculate the transfer- if anyone knows of any?

@strawberrysummer19 we went out last night and I was worried about the same. I look massive. 🤣 Literally don't seem to be able to sort my digestion out.

I bought the dress about 2 months ago as I worked out of the ivf wasnt successful I wouldn't be showing but I tried it on today and it definitely shows. Plus some people know we were doing ivf so I do feel tad awkward (family wedding) but hopefully people will just not look lol!! Ive bought some foods to help but maybe I remember there being this drinks you could buy - powdered sachets you add water to I may ask the nurse on Wednesday if these are safe as I'm just not going enough! X

@strawberrysummer19 the dress i had on isn't clingy. It floats out. But it wasn't hiding it that well. I just breathed in whenever I was stood up. 🤣
My clinic recommended fybogel or lactulose. I think they are the only 2 you can take? I was trying not to unless I needed to but I've had a bit today as I'm struggling. I was managing to go every day for a couple of days but it's slowed down again. Its not comfortable at all.

@paintfairy my dress is tight around the bust and then flowy but then I feel that highlights it! But I'm not worrying - if people ask then so be it - as I say some people know we were doing ivf
But maybe I'm more conscious of it

I'll have to get some of that - I have bought some high fibre food so will see how I get on! Thanks x

@strawberrysummer19 i just looked at my period app. If I artificially change the first day off my period, then it sets the days correctly? The clinic did tell me I was 4+5 but if you don't know, use a pregnancy calculator online (one that allows you to enter it from ivf days) and it'll tell you how many weeks and days you are. Then just work it back.

@strawberrysummer19 I'm currently using pregnancy+. I tried a couple of others (can't remember the names!) with my 16-month-old and this was my favourite.

I've actually lost weight since becoming pregnant but I still have a bloated bump! I'm just wearing baggy stuff so it's no big deal (good time of year) but every now and then I admire it in the mirror as though it's an actual baby bump 😍 😂

Check that out. my bloat seems to have gone down this morning! 😳quite liked having a huge bloat!! But I don't feel as windy so that's probably why.

Just can't wait for my beta now - tempted to do a digital but told myself I wouldn't test again!!

It's not good news 💔 the baby died a couple of days after my last scan. I'm booked for surgery on Wednesday 😢 xx
