Any ivf pregnancies ?

I'm only 6+2 and super paranoid about absolutely everything. Had my fet on the 28/09, it was our second fet after the first one failed, I had bleeding before I even got to the otd. My scan is this Thursday and it's fair to say I'm bricking it.

Would be nice to chat with some ladies who've done ivf, I have been keeping an eye on the June 2022 thread but sometimes I find I can't relate.

@VenusStarr thank you! Just mostly feeling anxious, I’ve convinced myself something is wrong even though I do feel slightly nauseous and boobs are getting bigger. I completely understand your anxiety, I think we need to (easier said than done) take it a day at a time. Today was a small victory for you because of the milestone you passed, and hopefully the scan will confirm all is ok. Like you said, there is a low chance of miscarriage. I always try to think about all the pregnant women around me whose pregnancies have gone well. I listed to an IVF mindfulness podcast that said that every day you should see it as you being pregnant and it being a healthy pregnancy unless proven otherwise.

Hi all, sorry not been on much. I've been trying to stay off here and google as I've been making myself anxious worrying about not having enough symptoms and googling every single cramp.

We had our scan today, everything measuring bang on and looking as it should for 6+6. It was amazing to see the little heartbeat. Still in shock to be honest. Feels so surreal to finally be able to be happy. Now just the long wait till the 12 weeks scan just before Xmas 😵‍💫

@VenusStarr I'm sorry you're not feeling great. I wouldn't be surprised if pregnancy symptoms were in there too, but I know the anxiety is your worst feeling But the days must tick by and every one brings you closer to a happy outcome! I really hope tomorrow is a great day for you 💕

My scan at our miscarriage clinic went as well as we could have expected. The baby is measuring as it should and we saw/heard the heart beat. 💕 The haematoma (or he called it a blood clot) has started to reduce in size but I've been told the next 2 weeks in particular are critical. He has completely taken me off blood thinners now and he has given me Tensipine to help 'relax the uterus' (they use it to prevent pre-term labour). The concern is if the uterus contracts to try and remove the clot and the baby goes with it. So an extremely anxious time but we are trying to stay positive and take it day by day since less than a week ago we thought it was all over.
I have a scan on Monday at IVF clinic (doubling up as I'm under 2 clinics) then another next Friday so the size of the clot can be monitored etc. I was also told to expect more blood which I don't like but at least they have warned me, it's more like spotting at the moment.

@RosieLeeD sending all the positive vibes your way, the next couple of weeks are likely to be anxious, but it sounds like you're staying as positive as can be, and it's helpful to have regular scans to keep on top of the situation. Seeing the heartbeat is so amazing and I'm keeping everything crossed that it's a strong one x

Hi all, my scan went really well, the foetus measured bang on 7 weeks and we saw the tiny little heartbeat, had a little cry. They were very kind and have booked us in for another scan in 10 days as they know we've lost a baby before, so at least it'll break up the wait until the 12 week scan! x

Not good news for us 💔 looks like a blighted ovum. Just at the epu, they're going to rescan me and take it from there. Thank you for all the lovely support and messages ❤️ feel numb and a bit broken xx

I've just left the epu. Got a confusing, headfuckery update.

Epu saw a 5mm foetal pole and cardiac activity, confirmed by 4 nurses, all in the room at one point. Yolk sac not easily visible though, so uncertain. So I'm measuring 6 weeks.

We're shell-shocked. No idea what to think, but I am still pregnant, not sure if it's viable. I'm going to get more meds from the clinic tomorrow. Haven't done a lubion today so just going to take more cyclogest.

Thanks @Holskey I do have a retroverted uterus and even on a cushion, the epu nurse said it was a bit tricky to see, so hoping the yolk sac was just hidden.
I'm back on 22 November. Back at the ivf clinic in the morning to get my meds. Missed lubion today but hopefully having done 3 cyclogest instead that's OK.

Oh @VenusStarr what a rollercoaster. Have they said that they will rescan you again soon? Easier said then done but try and take one day at a time and look after yourself. Sending lots of love and keeping everything crossed for you 💕

@VenusStarr I have a retroverted uterus too and it can make visibility harder. Stay positive xxx
