After 41 weeks did your baby come naturally!

I’m so so sad. Looks like I will be having baby on my own abs being induced (next Tuesday) they have given me 5pm too so will be a fun night of no sleep 🙄.
Really wanted a hole birth. This is number 4 and I have never ever been over due!! Even bought a birthing pool for home. Really deflated I will be on my own (hubby will have the kids).
She only has 4 more days and literally no
Signs. Is there any hope.

One of mine started 4hrs before my induction appointment. Other didn't and needed to be induced.
If you're being induced surely it's easier to find childcare as you know the exact day.

Ah fingers crossed, all 3 of mine have been 41+ weekers. One was induced but the other two weren't, they came at 41+4 and 42+1! The 42 weeker I was waiting for space on induction ward, but there wasn't any for 3 days and he decided he would make his own entrance eventually.. Have faith, 4 days is a lot at 41 weeks and also I know how you feel waiting. Good luck

Mine was 41+5 came naturally day before I was due to be induced.

I ate loads of fresh pineapple which someone told me would shift her - seemed to work!

I have my aunty for a few hours. It’s literally the worse time evening! I really needed morning.
I have 3 kids with autism and they don’t sleep. So can’t have anyone at night having them my aunty will have work the next morning so can’t expect her to go with no sleep 😢. So hubby can be there 6-11pm but that’s it. (He will need to do school run).
I’m so sad about it all. I have been so lucky with my other 3. This baby is measuring 3lb heavier too and still hasn’t thought about coming out!
Just feels the chances are getting slimmer. 😢

OP you don't have to be induced if you don't want to!

All mine were after 41 weeks and came naturally before 42 weeks.
Also refused sweeps as there is no evidence they actually work.

Likewise. Normal vaginal delivery. 8lb3oz.

I was booked to be induced on my due date, but ds arrived of his own volition at 39+6!

Tbh I would cancel the induction however I have kept the kids off so we didn’t catch Covid so I could have hubby at the birth and a home birth (all totally pointless now!). So I need that date so they can do back.
Just kept Positive until now thinking maybe today. But it never is 🥺

You can have home birth your to 42 weeks. Sadly even my 4th needed to be evicted at 42 weeks just like the others 🙄

Dd was right up until the last day they would let me go I ate a whole pineapple... even the twins were reluctant to make an appearance and had to be evicted by csection.

@RandomMess aww bless you. It’s crazy. It will be my first inductions literally all the rest were born 39+6, 40 and 40 dead on!! Actually all within 12 hours!! So this one being so late I don’t understand why she isn’t coming when the rest did. Other than it’s my luck as the rest were hospital births and this one my last I really wanted at home.
Hopefully she will come im Just very fed up and emotional about it. Feel pretty much on my own. Really not looking forward to the hospital. My last 2 were water births and pretty much birthed on my own. First was was awful no one believed I was ready to push as i am very slow getting to 4cms (with all 3 have been), but once at 4 very quick! No one ever took that seriously. Also being on a ward while being induced while everyone else is with their families etc is going to be hard.

My earliest was 41+10.

1st was induced at +12 but the 2nd and 3rd came naturally at +10 and +13.

You still have time.

It's possible the meltdown is a sign the baby is coming! But try to relax if you can and have time to yourself if that is possible xx

Oh OP, I know how you feel. I swear I went into a state of complete madness when overdue with my babes. Emotional, angry and frustrated. Waking up so upset every morning because I hadn't woken up with any contractions. I forgot it all when baby was here. It's a temporary madness.

I had a second sweep with one of mine at 40+12. I had a very fast labour late that night and she was born at home in the early hours of the following morning.
