Late 4th babies 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

I have been so lucky in the past.
My first came a day early, 2nd came 30 mins into due date, and third came 4 hours into due date!!
I’m now 13 and a half ours into due date with no signs 🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂😂😂😂😂.
I’m going mad lol.
She is also a big baby and never had a big one before she also still isn’t engaged.
Just needed to rant.

Hopefully she won't keep you waiting much longer!

DC1 was 12 days late, DC2 and 3 6 days late each, DC4 was 10 days late. Days 6-10 were the longest ever! And I was counting in days late not hours! You’ll get there, enjoy the last few moments of peace!

@HelenaJustina my issue is I pulled the kids out of school until baby is here (it’s not peace as they all have asd too 😂🤦🏼‍♀️), however I’m now worried they could end up having a bloody month off! 😭😭😭😭

2 days late now. Don’t feel she is coming any time soon.

I feel you, I've gone overdue with all three of mine (fully expecting to go overdue this time too) and it just totally sucks.

@4kinhell nope and officially tried everything 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭. Really hope she is here by Monday as feel sick keeping the kids of any more!

Late!?!??

Try almost three weeks. Mind you that may be part of the reason I only have one.

@Tinydancer321 can I ask why you’ve kept your others of school? Must say wasn’t something that ever occurred to me!

@HelenaJustina incase they catch Covid! I only have my hubby to be a birthing partner. We are hoping for a home birth as have no one to have the kids (I have 2 kids with high needs). But if one tests positive or is poorly abs needs a pcr until we have the results or they are better we I would have to go to hospital on my own.
Obviously if we all catch it will be giving birth on my own too.
Also us all having Covid with a new born would be awful.
I have 3 kids, 2 different schools (one is a big Sen school).
Tbh I wouldn’t of, however they are not doing self isolating households . So my youngest a few parents have tested positive but can still send the children in because they don’t have symptoms and don’t need to be tested.
However it was meant to be a week (my daughter had a cold too and bad throat so was off). But for the first time I have gone over due.

@Tinydancer321 totally understand why you have kept your children off school it's just too big of a risk any of you being ill.
Any signs yet?
Probably stating the obvious but Is it possible to try and go for a long walk today, sex and a nice bath? Probably not what you want at all and may be difficult with having other kiddies around but might just help things along.

Tried sex (once that was enough 😂😂😂). Have had a long walk, bath, bounced on the ball every day this week. 🤦🏼‍♀️.
Last night I even tried expressing. Didn’t even start a braxton ha ha. Going to do it all again today. Making my hubby laugh as I keep humming to Groundhog Day tune every time
We try something again 🤦🏼‍♀️😂. Very annoying too as he booked a extra week holiday at the end of paternity and all holiday has now gone so he can’t even move it.

Maybe your dates were wrong and little one isn't late at all 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Fingers crossed for you that you can get little one moving but if baby's head isn't engaged at all it's doubtful any of the old wives tales will work.
Speak to your midwife tomorrow see if they will give you a sweep to get things moving xx

I'm 33 weeks with no 4.

Dd1 3 days early
Dd2 3 days late
Dd3 16 days late

This one is currently transverse, bloody huge and generally being much more difficult then the others!

I hope your not waiting much longer. Safe to say I won't be going for no 5 😂 x

@4kinhell had a sweep to on due date. Have to wait till Wednesday now. I do think she is in a awquared position and she keeps popping up. But they can never find her heart beat either! There are small moments when I feel her low the rest of time she is floating up high lol.

@Bennetgirl omg 16 days over! Funny how they can get later. Mine have too, but normally by hours. Lol.

I’m stopping at 4 too. Have felt as sick as dog (never felt so rough) my body has never ached as much. So yes 4 is our magic number ha ha

After the sweep midwife said my cervix was up high but she managed to bring it lower to sleep. Apparently she felt baby head 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I was desperate for a home birth. In hindsight i wish I'd gone for an induction much sooner!

When will they offer you an induction? I had the drip with gas and air and it was no different to my others once I was going x

@Bennetgirl I’m hoping for a home birth too, I suppose it’s a massive surprise. I’m hoping I will grind out Wednesday. Baby is just on the 90th percentile so they won’t worry (1 percentile more they prob would on induced already!).
All my others were on the 30th percentile 😭😭. Feel anxious lol

Curry, rhubarb and custard and a walk then another lot of r and c worked for us.

I was gutted I didn't get my home birth but I had a great experience in hospital, it was actually really nice!! I was out after 6 hours.

They're buggers aren't they. After 3 easy, straight forward babies this one is being really difficult! I thought a fourth would be a breeze!
