I got a lovely dye stealer this morning and I am so chuffed! After a CP in July, seeing that beautiful first line so dark is giving me great hope.

Anyone else 5 weeks? How are you feeling?

@Blondiebrownie6 Awww we have our scans on the same day! How exciting. Yay to a private one! We booked ours today for the 1st of December 🎉

How fab that you are doing a reveal, what a special day that will be. We are going to do a reveal on Christmas Eve! We have decided to find out 😂 I think with everything that has gone on and our families missing out on so much with our son in 2020 it just feels right. How are you feeling? Did you see the GP? x

@Snoopy28x I'm good, nausea comes and goes most days. I'm just shattered! 8+6 today. I'm getting a little anxious about getting to that "12 week" milestone.

@babyboybluex aww exciting to see your little one again soon! My 20 week scan is 31st dec. Also exciting your feeling flutters! Its reassuring isnt it xx

Yes, our first after 4 years ttc and our 3rd round of ivf ❤️

We had a scan at 8+1 due to being ivf and everything was looking good.

Got a private scan booked at 10+6 as my mum doesn't keep well and wants to come to a scan with me.

Aw that’s exiting you have decided to find out @babyboybluex , it’s a lovely time of year to find out I think. I can’t wait! Will be lovely to have the family involved! I did manage to get a low dose anti biotic from GP , done a sample to be sure. If ok I’ll stop taking them. I feel less pressure today but I’ve only had 3 tablets, surely they can’t work that quick!? But I am feeling ok so that’s good :)

I’m having a wobble again today that something is wrong 😩 i think I’ll need to book another scan at some point but will see how I go! This weird limbo stage of feeling normal but not feeling anything inside me is playing with me lol! So petrified of something going wrong!

So lovely that you and @Snoopy28x are feeling little flutters! What a huge reassurance for you both :) I keep trying to lay still and push on my stomach to see if I can sense anything but obviously I can’t! Hoping they start early since placenta is at the back!

@Blondiebrownie6 it's a hard inbetween stage again isnt it! Until you get the bump and the movement then you have a bit of reassurance!

I feel so so bleugh. Like frumpy, bloated, tired, uncomfortable. I've had cravings for buttery salty cheesy jacket potato so been having those the last few days for lunches. Maybe its partly that. I've got a bit of a bump but also wobbly from previous babies!! Lol so I just feel frumpy. Looking forward to getting a proper bump so I look pregnant and not just like I've eaten to many mince pies lol xx

Totally @Snoopy28x we have a night away next weekend so trying to focus on that as a distraction then will see how I am after that point and if can hold off scanning.

The proper bump will be nice 🥰 it’s such a weird stage I’m finding! I’m sure you look just wonderful but totally get you! I also said to my OH earlier I was feeling bloated and just urgh! My carb consumption hasn’t helped in recent weeks haha although have tried to eat better now I’m feeling more with it which I actually enjoy but I’m just always hungry! But Dreading getting weighed next especially if it’s after Xmas too, I would have 100% eaten too many mince pies by that point lol xx

Hey all ok with me haven't had any bleeding or spotting for about 5 days maybe. The feeling of not being pregnant is worrying but suppose after 12 weeks I've read you feel better. I'm 14 weeks Tomorrow booked a private scan 10th December. Hope everyone is ok x

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better and managed to get something from the GP! There is nothing worse than not feeling right - sending hugs. What's making you feel that way? I'm sure everything is perfect lovely! Could you ring triage and express your worries? Saves you paying for a private scan... they aren't cheap x

@Snoopy28x Mmmmm baked potato! I had one yesterday funnily enough They are the best. It's an awkward stage the 13-17 weeks! That bump will soon show though x

Hiya ladies! Sorry been a bit quiet the last day or so. Both kids have been really poorly with colds/coughs. Yesterday dd came home with red sore eyes.. she now has conjunctivitis to! Shes so run down bless her. So kept her home today. Ds is a little better today but now me and dh have both got it 😒 I'm making some chicken broth to boost us all up. So just a quiet weekend planned here xx

I'm not feeling great today, nausea has hit me again 😅 I feel really yuck and just not myself. Trying to work whilst feeling like this isn't fun! Our son is at home today and causing mischief 🤣 My skin isn't good either... where is that "glow up?" 😜 x

I'm feeling really impatient today. 12 week scan isn't until Thursday, I'm waiting for a bump to appear and I can't shake that feeling that maybe I've imagined the whole thing and when I turn up next week they'll be like, "umm.. there's not baby here..." I know it's silly, I've still got nausea and the massive veiny boobs but it's weird when you can't see or feel a baby so it doesn't feel real!

I feel exactly the same I don't feel pregnant. 14+1 today. I just want to feel excited but I just can't x

I hope everyone is well?? After some views and/ or reassurance if anyone has had the same;

I had my dating scan with the NHS on Thursday morning and was dated as being 12+4 which was great although the radiographer was really quite rough and pushing hard to get the scan of Twin B as it was underneath Twin A - it was painful but I put it down to also having a very full bladder. I had my NIPT test results back the same day which were showing as being low risk and The hospital also put me on iron tablets and aspirin as a precaution because it’s twins and my first pregnancy, so they don’t know if I am susceptible to pre-eclampsia / anaemia etc. I started taking these on Thursday night.

So all in all, was feeling very positive. However When I went to the toilet on Friday morning, when I wiped it was a very pale pink. It was there again when I went to the toilet mid morning and then nothing since.

My OH is being very pragmatic and saying everything was fine on Thursdays scan, you’ve started taking iron tablets and had nothing since but me, being the worry pot I am, have got myself in a bit of a knot that it’s indicative of something being wrong. I spoke to my midwife on Friday afternoon and in the absence of any other symptoms and it having stopped she just said to monitor and if it came back, to go and see the GP.

So I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or had words of wisdom??? We are hoping to tell our families on Friday when we are almost 14 weeks but I don’t want to tell them if I am still worrying but feel a bit like I might be overeating if I insist on booking a private scan first. Xx

@AR21 Hey! It sounds like everything is absolutely fine but I would give triage a call today and ask for their opinion. They will give you all the time in the world and be super nice about it all!

They will more than likely get you to monitor things at home but may ask you to go in and get seen. I'd ring regardless just for peace of mind and so you can relax on a Sunday!

Take it easy and don't panic!! x

Just general worries @babyboybluex I think this weird stage with minimal symptoms and not feeling anything I just don’t feel ‘pregnant’ although I think I have a wee bump coming along, it be bloat also lol but hopefully a bit of baby to! How are you? My partner has been in close contact with someone on a job who’s tested positive for covid 😩 I’ve papped him to sleep in the spare room and avoid the same room as each other in the house lol. We’re also masked up! People will think I’m crazy haha I know but I’m not vaxxed and I’m so worried about getting ill, just trying to take sensible measure to reduce any risk! I’m such a worrier if you didn’t notice 🤣

@AR21 that’s great all was fine with the babies ❤️ I found my dating scan quite uncomfortable also as baby was in a awkward position. I had to empty my bladder but even with that she was really quite pushing. I think the aspirin can cause mild spotting , one of the other ladies on the thread said the same I think after she she started taking it. But Defos speak to your midwife and they’ll be able to give you official guidance and ease your worries xx

@Blondiebrownie6 it's been a rubbish weekend. Feeling so poorly. Havent really slept as so bunged up and have an awful cough! Luckily not covid related! The kids are both still up alot during the night coughing. Trying an experiment tonight, ds Is and always has been an awful sleeper. I wondered if it was his room being to bright, cold or just because he likes to be with someone. So he is trying it out in his travel cot in dd room. Will see if he sleeps any better tonight, because somethings got to give. I've been super snappy with Dh today. Hes been next to useless because hes got the Cold now and said I dont understand how bad he feels..er hello! Pregnant cant take anything and tired! I think I win lol so he fell asleep on dd floor at 6.30pm lol so I've been enjoying a quiet evening of binge watching my guilty secret fav programme.... dont judge ladies ! 90 day fiancee haha sorry to hear your hubby has been in contact. Hopefully it passed him by!

@ar21 lovely that all is progressing well with the babies. I've had 2 different occasions of pink spotting and never seems to come to anything, but as others have said always check with your midwife for a bit of reassurance. The lady who did my scan was really rough! My baby was not playing ball and wouldnt turn how she needed so she was 4really pushing hard, I actually felt a bit bruised for a few days!

@charlotte0808 I'm in the not feeling pregnant club. I actually have to keep reminding myself. It's odd. I dont have any symptoms apart from slightly sensitive nipples and weeing alot. Other than that normal! Its bizarre isnt it xx

Thank you for the messages ladies - if this is what it’s like 13 weeks in, I have no idea what I’ll be like by the time they are 18 ha. I spoke to the midwife on Friday who wasn’t at all concerned and just said keep an eye on it but I just think I’m watching out for any little thing at the moment because it feels like it’s going ‘too smoothly’.

@ar21 😂🤣 welcome to the world of being a mummy. It's just all about worry lol before they are born you worry, when they are here you worry! 🙈 it will be all worth it when they are in your arms xx

@AR21 oh it's a constant worry! And it doesn't stop once they arrive either! You just have to take each day at a time and speak to midwife/hospital if you're worried, otherwise you spend days panicking about something very minor!

@Blondiebrownie6 rubbish! Hope you manage to avoid catching covid! DH and DS both had it and DD and I both escaped, so you might be lucky!
